It was a moment of pride entering the beloved gates of Fifth street school. Its historic fact was the stance that the Pauite tribe took when demanding a school to be built for the children of Pauite and African American of West Las Vegas. Though evidence of this momentum event was not display, it currently stands as a working community center in the downtown area housing the cultural (arts) affairs department of the city. Various events are plan throughout the year.

From what I saw the school it looks very nice it was set up for voting that was why I went there parking lot is a little small not very many handicap spots and they should have organized the voting a little bit better so that disabled people could go back down the ramp or another ramp that was at the school for that purpose the stars are a little difficult for me to go down after a full knee replacement but I did it

Went to some workshops at the UNLV DDC. The UNLV DDC people were friendly and helpful. Think the school remodel was done very well. Like the fountain. Nice auditorium. Outdoor areas beautiful. Feels open & airy. The whole place just exudes a positive atmosphere.
