Big shout out to parks & recreation!These guys take awesome care of this park. Super friendly as well!I am a nomad and travel to different cities ALL over the countryIts RARE for me to enjoy nice parks like this! Although not as big as some Ive enjoyed... Its nice and peaceful!

Nice trees and very clean; unfortunately it was closed but still managed to get in and have lunch on a bench there.

Its a cool lil spot where you can post up with the family, kids, significant other and enjoy whatever festivities you enjoy However, I only give 3 starz because the bathrooms are NEVER open. Lol

Very green, and serene. Lots of beautiful established trees. Therefore plenty of shade all around the park. Looks like a community pool used to be there on the far end of the park, but looks like it hasnt been maintained for a long time. Would have been nice if it was open for the summer.

Just stopped to have lunch nicely equipped park clean areas.

Good place for a walk with the dogs, bathrooms are meh and the playground is a pretty decent size. Has a tennis court, could be kinda scary at night for some people.

Very new and quiet we ate our meals and left!

Its a park, man! I think those trees have grown 15 in the past 35 years....

This is a great park!! The only thing I would watch out for is some holes in the ground on the grassy areas and in the mens restroom my boyfriend said there is no soap or paper towels. Other than that this park is great with lots of trees for shade perfect for picnics and birthday parties! Has a tennis court no pool though it is closed down.

Lots of people eat their lunch here in the summer from what it seemed today. Only a few shades spots to park.

It could have been more kid friendly. Wasnt so cleanYet still had fun. And was fresh. Nice green grass!

This park is important to my family and me. We have celebrated many events here.. Had good moments as well as bad here. To be honest this is the first park I ever visited in Crosses

The park is for the most part well maintained. There are multiple play areas, a softball field, older tennis courts, and a pool that is no longer in use. The park is popular for walking in the mornings, but the side walk does not go around the whole park.

I love this park but it really needs decent bathrooms and water fountains. Theyre just awful. Maybe another playground too please

Very nice park. Went walking around the park for some exercise. The bathrooms were very convenient. A lot of birds sat down and watch them for a while very tranquil and peaceful. I live across the street and decided Ill start getting my exercise there everyday.

In daytime, nice park, lots of family parties dnd activities always

Went after dark..took my dogs for a run. It was wonderful. Stayed 20min saw 1 other person w dog. All good. Bathrooms were open too!

This is one of the larger parks in town and has a lot of grass and trees which is nice. There is plenty of space for parties or gatherings, but its pretty packed on the weekends because of this. The playground areas are up to date, clean, and the equipment is safe. The restrooms are super gross as are most city park restrooms, but at least they are available. Overall its a large, shaded, fun park.

Great park lots of trees. watch out for many people who believe the leash law doesnt apply to them and their dogs.

There is a solar powered trailer in the middle of the park... I believe its under cover .... But its not fooling anyone... It says Las Cruces Police Department on it... And yet I see people still approaching it...soliciting everything from watches in a trenchcoat from a nude guy... To drugs... To night entertainment... And the trailer remains stoicly still not influenced by the walk of life that walks around his life.

Usually surrounded by homeless, also can be dangerous late afternoon, Ive been a resident of Las Cruces for 20+ years and lots of shootings have taken place here most unreported.

The party was a success and the children loved it. And that includes adult children whom had a lot of fun. Yes the park was fun.

Good cushioned grounds to protect the children. It had restrooms and a few chairs to monitor the family. It still needs another playground or two. There is still a lot of space left. It needs waterfountains. Needs more security, I smelled some weed from an individual in the middle of the park with an easy chair, but he was smoking.There were some people at a party drinking some beer. I ran into one with a beer can in his hand by the restroom, and almost walked into the girls restroom. I redirected him just in time. Oh. It really needs more lights near the South side and one in the middle and one on the North side. We had a hard time loading from our party.

Great family location, with baseball diamonds and stands for them. Picnic areas, covered and uncovered. Grills available. Fresh grass in a desert city is hard to come by, enjoy! Also, really cool wooden statue, carved into a giant Indian head. Very neat stuff.

It is a quiet place to relax within a busy city.

Its really A lovely old park. They have 3 different play ground sets and plenty of space to move around. However theres A few negatives. One they had A pool here and its run down and ugly. 2 its in A bad area in s ence and you get some ghetto people around it.

Lovely park but beware of sketchy characters hanging out there from time to time. The police do monitor it several days a week so it does make it feel more safe.

Great park just as fun as when I was a kid

Attended a benefit Pickelball tournament held at Apodaca Park. Courts have a few cracks but overall pleasant experience. Definitely bring a chair if youre not going to consistently be playing, there is no seating.

Stopped here to eat lunch and reminisce about old times. Its changed but the chipmunks are the same. They like to play with each other and the birds. Still a great park to have a picnic.

Good park with shade, bathrooms, tables, tennis courts, the pool is old but is fine still gets used every year there are plenty of pools in town ppl, the baseball field is not an open to public field they only allow leagues which is ridiculous, otherwise its just a park
