For a small private museum, it was one of the best I have visited. Sorry to see it go. Hopefully someone will fund this and not let it close.

Wonderful learning opportunity with great exhibits and a very large display of various war theaters. Looking for a new location & supporters who are civic minded and wish to keep open this wonderful military display.

I happened to show up on the same day of the owners memorial service. Very somber day for the folks there but the legacy he left with this amazing museum I hope will never be forgotten. This is one of the most fantastic and interactive museums Ive been to and Ive been to countless across the country. Not the biggest place but the way all of the history has be recreated is absolutely breathtaking. I pray that this place will be able to reopen so that all can experience this amazing creation and I look forward to hearing more about the creators.

This is a wonderful museum. I went with my father, retired Army, and we were both very impressed with the exhibits. The staff was kind and helpful. There were a lot of memories for my father. Benches and water fountains throughout. Wheelchairs are available. Definitely a five star visit!

The outside of this place doesnt do justice. The interior has life sized scenes of war. They also have two main battle tanks (one of them a Patton), a Sherman and a Stuart. Lots of cool stuff to see. Another highlight of the visit was the ride on the m8 reconnaissance vehicle.

Amazing!! Who would have thought that the boots of the first guy that ever landed on Normandy would be on display in Largo, FL? Every exhibit was fascinating and of the highest quality. Walking through the trenches of World War I, flying a fighter plane in the flight simulator, or just imagining life during each of our wars was educational, entertaining and historically accurate! Take a tour with Frank! Hes an historian, patriot and a Marine that has defended our country. GREAT guide!!

Fantastic exhibits. Anyone who goes will be amazed at what is shared with public. The sacrifices some Americans make for other is something to be hold. Such courageous on display by the men and women of the United States of America. Museum quality exhibits, even rides for children.

What a Great Museum! Amazing collection of artifacts! We visited a month ago and spent 2 hours here, enjoying the huge collection. Our party ranged fro a 9 year old to a 70 year old with some of us inbetween! We will come back and visit again! Great Experience! wish the gift shop had a little bit more, but we really enjoyed the visit!

What a great collection of memorabilia from all branches of The Armed Forces, some dating to back to Civic War Era. Much is privately donated. Seeing Sadam Husseins military uniform, the only one on display in the US (if I remember correctly)was kinda surreal. So many amazing artifacts and its truly humbling! A place that shouldnt be missed if anywhere near the area. THANKS TO THOSE THAT GAVE ALL AND THOSE GAVE SOME ... Your Courage will not be forgotten in this home.

What a wonderful family experience we had in September of 2016 when we visited this museum. So sad it is closed. I wish I knew why. It was a terrific place to go, very interesting and a lot to take in and learn.

Wow! I didnt even know this place existed. Walking through the exhibits literally gave me chills. In no way is this a typical museum. I feel like I learned more about military history in one day than in any high school or college class. If you have an ounce of appreciation for history, go. The staff is also incredible in both knowledge and courtesy. I felt welcome as if I had been visiting for years.

Very nice setup of uniforms when you walk in, museum exhibits progress through time as you walk. Seeing legitimate donated items of people is simply amazing, riding the m8 greyhound they have on sight is worth the money for sure!

This place covers the last 100 years of war very well. I loved the life size dioramas. Its not your average boring military museum. Its full of nice very clean displays. The WWI trench you can walk through with the smoke and the sounds of gun fire was cool and the dark Vietnam jungle left me with the uneasy feeling of paranoia “Charlie in the Trees!”. Lots of big tanks and guns. Even folks who arent into militaria should appreciate the displays.

I love this place. I went with my father and we were floored at the amazing size and detail of the meuseum and its life size war zone dioramas. The front of the place does not do the inside justice. I am sad that (as of the writing this review) the meuseum is closing permanently at the end of January 2017.

Greatest Museum Ive ever been to as prior military, a huge patriot and a big American history guy i was in shock and awe the whole time i was their, a kid in a candy store, we even did the tank ride and it was a blast ripping through the mud. Only concern, i wish they had a cheaper veterns discount but hey the place is a business

Went there on a field trip with the kids and the artifacts were pretty neat especially when they tell you that 95% of them were donated by 1 man who started that muesum. Our tour guide didnt seem to have much patience for the kids and didnt really explain things in their terms, but at the end of the day my son thanked me for taking him he enjoyed it anyway. Also there was a re-enactment they called it but they only dressed the part and again spoke in adult language and the kids were lost on that too but they volunteeer their time to come and try and educate so I do thank them soooo much for that!!
