Great condition and a decent layout for the money. Clubhouse is nothing special.

I have been going to East Bay since the mid 90s with my grandfather. GPS in the carts is a huge plus. The owner goes out of his way to rectify any issues you will encounter.

Great course. Obviously not tour level manicured but it is well maintained especially for the price. Would definitely play again.

I like the course but didnt play well on it. Although thats my fault since my playing partner had his best score ever. Beer was cold, burger was good and the course looks real nice. Ill be back

Great golf course for players of all skill levels. Hands down my favorite affordable course to play in the area.

Played course on 3/2/20 and it needs care. Tee boxes are atrocious at best, very little grass, uneven and divots all over the place. Play the black tees to get better tee boxes. Greens are spotted with weeds/second grass growing making for bumpy rolls. The best part of the course are the sand traps, a decent amount of sand! The low cost $39 plus tax is not worth it. Spend additional bucks and play a better course.

Busy but in good shape

The ranger was so nice and helpful today! The course is decent,, very open, dry grass at time but the greens are good. The carts are amazing!! Gina was always coming around with the beverage cart and very friendly! I would recommend their house special Bloody Mary. We would definitely come back! It’s a nice course.

Play here every year we are down here. Course is in the best shape we have seen it in the 11 years we have played here. Reasonable golf rates. Friendly staff.

We played this course several times in January. We found the pro shop to be very accommodating especially Bruce. We will continue our to play at east bay. Course is in good condition especially the greens. See you next year. Jim Delaney

The course is great, but the staff is unfortunately always unfriendly. The cashier and the starter are consistently rude and don’t make you feel welcome at all. It really makes me never want to golf there again.

Carts are the only good thing about this course. Probably the worst golf course I’ve ever played. Payed 30. I wouldn’t pay 10.

The grass is a little rough in some areas but over all not a bad course.

This is a nice, challenging course. we always get paired up with nice people here. I took 1 star off for a rough green and a few unlevel tees.

The course is in pretty rough shape but the price is right!

Easy to get to. Good condition fairways and rough. Greens a little slow unless youre playing a downhill lie. Not to say theyre real fast, but you must realize a little faster than a flat lie. However pin placement could have been better for the average golfer.

Greens could use some work however the view is spectacular and the service is great. The topper is the price is just right.

Highly recommend this course. Very good conditions and pace of play has improved significantly since last year. Great value for the price.

The tee boxes are all dirt every hole and you have a tee time and its backed up at least 30 minutes behind place needs a lot of help.

Odd I know I reviewed this before. I have played here several times. It is incredibly challenging and love it. But Everytime the greens and course was in excellent shape. Very nice staff and built in gps on carts that is very accurate. BYOB. I have never had to wait or seen it back up. One if my favorite courses to play.

My caddie was grouchy

Attended a wedding here. Was beautiful outside and the venue part was nice. Only thing they need now is a fresh coat of paint and to remove the smell old carpet that makes the lobby area smell like mold

Not to bad, I would not recommend eating the food had a raw hamburger not so good.But the course was good.

Great prices to play golf and a nice course

Great place. Great friendly service and the price is good.

Pace of play here is very good, especially in Feb & Mar when we do split tee times off front and back, rounds are consistently less than 4hours 20 minutes. Also tee times run on time which is not the norm for other area courses. Greens are in great shape this winter and rates are very reasonable. The club NEVER runs out of carts, they are assigned within a reasonable time before tee time. Days are getting longer now and any tee time before 1:30 will absolutely finish an 18 hole round.

Golf course is a excellent place to play round golf in Largo, Florida greens and fairways in great conditions. Excellent customer service in Pro Shop call ahead to get a tee time very busy.

Played here on 3/2/2019, It took 5hrs. 45 minutes to play around of golf. When I approached management about it, his response was “ it’s Florida” . That’s Bull-hit . Been playing there going on 11 years, with the same foursome, time to find another course to play. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE BOYS!!

Regular golfer at East Bay so I have seen the good and the bad. I have to compliment them on the improvements on their greens. Played this weekend and the greens rolled the smoothest I remember and had more pace than they have had in while. Very enjoyable round at a great price.

Well priced exp after noon. Great shape and if your from out of town and on vacation, this is the place. Close to our condo and cheaper than others in the area. If you want to spend more than 50$, of course (no pun) finding Donald Ross isnt hard to find. From Indiana, so flat, fast greens are the norm.

Greens are thick and slow, lots of foot traffic. Good value, fast round at 3hrs.

My husband reguarly golfs here when we come to Florida. Not impressed the other day when he booked for 9 holes as my daughter and son in law were with him and under a time constraint. He very clearly said 9 holes when booking. No one told him he couldnt or that it will be the full price. They get there and they get charged the full price. Nothing like ripping off the tourists!! Last time he will ever golf there, on to greener pastures.

My favorite place to golf in the area. Built in range finders always come in handy!

I heard there were new owners at East Bay so I thought it would be nice to play since I live on the course. I asked two friends to join me, which I spent some of our time together feeling the need to apologize for recommending East Bay. I generally play 18-holes in 3-3 1/2 hours depending on how crowded the courses are; it took us 5 1/2 hours to play 17-holes!!!We walked off the course disgusted and after telling a staff member about our frustration, found the staff person less than concerned about the time it took to play. His comment: Well, at least its warmer here than up north. Even though I live on the course, its going to be some time before I go back. Right now Id tell anyone thinking of playing there, say save your money.

Good course, challenging greens, fun place

Dont go out there expecting a PGA course but it is one of my favorites. We like to get on towards the end of the day in summer

Not the greatest upkeep for the price

No chance in hell this course isworth 40 dollars. Played it for the first time last week and sadly would recommend mainlands or tides over this dump

When it rains hard front nine always closed, bad drainage. At there prices you would think they would make some changes, also water left in a lot of the traps an not raked.

The course is no Innisbrook, but neither is the cost. Staff is welcoming and friendly and greens are playable. Unfortunately East Bay has seen better days and the buildings and property are looking dilapidated. Hope they can withstand the urban sprawl of Pinellas County. Use to love the lighted short course that is now condos.

Golf course is now in the best shape Ive seen it over the years, including the greens. Congrats. to the greens keeper/staff.

Great course with great value. dont play if you cant keep up. they have driving range for those who are learning. love the layout. conditions could be better but layout is one of my favorite in tampa bay.

Nice open course. The golf carts have gps in them which is a much added bonus. They close early though and they are ready to go at closing time.

Being generous with2 stars, more like a cow pasture than golf course, not worth $40, weeds in the fairway, not sure whats on the greens, very thin, doesnt appear to be grass, greedy management puts out groups on back nine, so its always backed up from what Im told from others, it was when i played. Played 2 other courses so far down here within 30mins, stoney point and wentworth, both cheaper and far superior condition.

I really like East Bay.Here is why:It is long and a good test of golf. It doesnt seem to long on paper, but remember this is a flat, sometimes moist course. Wait till you play no. 8! The course actually built on an old lake bed. It plays long. Not super long, but I recommend the white tees if you are a 10 hdcp. or over. You probably will use every club in your bag.They layout is good. I miss the old layout (no. 12 they took out a 225 yd. par 3 and replaced it with a, albeit nice, short over the water par 3 - also no.3 used to be drivable, but now with the new lake around it, it isnt a smart shot). The condition of the course has improved and the attitude is better now.This course can be hard for the ladies. But still every lady I have played with had a good time here.It is easy to get to, easy to get a tee time and is a golf staple of Pinellas county.I would give it 5 stars, but the course gets a lot of play. It can be busy at times.You should not be disappointed!!

Second time in a week my husband played this course and came home frustrated. They are over booking the course so bad that if you play after 1PM you cannot get 18 holes in and they will not do any refund. He should have known when they were running out of golfcarts...all because of greed!All because of greed! He should have know when they were running out of golf carts......

Greens are not good, fairways just ok. The ranger, if there is one, should have been on the back nine to speed up the foresome that the cart girl said on hole 12 they were drunk. She sold them something but cant say it was more alcohol.

Very challenging course

The owners and staff were excellent I couldnt be happier with their service!!!!

Drove a bucket of balls and used the putting green. $7 for bucket/55 balls. Hardly anyone there.

Will never play there again. The condition of the course was a joke. The greens were terrible they were like putting on shag carpet and do not get me on the fairway. They had crab grass growing on them and were terrible. I work at a resort on the beach and I well never send our guest there ever. Sorry I gave you one star, but I do not think they would post this. I would not give this even given them one star
