Exhibits are always interesting, beautiful, and well curated. Plus it is free, so everyone should take advantage of it and stop by!As a student I really loved the teaching gallery because I think it is such a cool and innovative thing to incorporate into coursework.
My kids who are only four and six were so captivated by this Museum that we ended up going about every other week for 3 months. They have very cool displays that rotate out very cool guest speakers and vest guest performers and artists. The staff that works there is very patient and love to talk and help us out and educate.
The university of Wyoming has a beautiful campus. It is the only 4 year university in the state, so the legislature and alumni fund it well. Students Ive met are very satisfied with their education. Undergraduates feel lucky to have professors teaching most classes. The tuition is quite reasonable and there are many majors to choose from.
I’ve read some mixed reviews about this museum: “It’s small and not worth going to,” or “The artwork is beautiful, a must-see!” In my opinion, art is a matter of opinion. For me, it may be small, but it’s something! I come from a region where art is mostly disregarded, cast aside, so museums like this and the Nicolaysen in Casper are a refreshing change from home. The art featured have purposes: visit this beautiful museum to see for yourself!(To the staff, thank you for providing such an environment!)
Great exhibits, people were accommodating as our grandsons art was in a lower level not normally open on weekends, but they let us in.
Diverse collection. Some pieces I see as waste of time and utterly devoid of any talent whatsoever. I have no idea why they would be in a select exhibit in a museum. (One six foot yellow square, acrylic on paper comes to mind, as does a dozen or so small toilets with different examples of feces smeared across the top of the seat.)That being said, most items are absolutely intriguing and a delight to view.Spend an hour here if youre in Laramie.
I enjoy the different exhibits and try to take my kids every few months to check it out.
Unlike the other university mueseam it frequently changes exhibits making return trips more worthwhile. It isnt just student work as well they will bring in displays from all over the place.
We really enjoy this museum but it is now closed on Monday and we didnt get to see the show. We will return
A nice Campus with some old world charm, has a good diversity of students and excellent faculty.... Can be tricky to maneuver around the place at first but it was worth the visit.
Such beautiful exhibits. Its new and exciting every time Im there.
Great mix of historical documents. Fine and contemporary art and community outreach
I thoroughly enjoyed the section on Japanese prints. Our group guide was also excellent.
Always amazing work with helpful folks!
Much exhibit space closed in prep of new show. But what was available was terrific. Loved the clothing exhibit in the loggia, too.
This wonderful institutions brings art and artist to the Equality State that residents would otherwise never experience. The thoughtfully curated exhibits, opportunities to hear from curators and education outreach are something everyone should take advantage of.
Fun place for my kids. Thanks!
Went to a wonderful 25 year celebration!
