Maralago Cay

Lots of nice trailers in a quiet community. The only issue is the ridiculously high lot rent at $1000 which goes up every year. Trailers are cheap because no one wants to pay the 1k. You can get a good trailer for 6k to 20k here. The lot is the deal breaker. You can even rent a nice trailer for 1100 so basically minus the lot your paying 100 for rent. Go figure.

Very quiet. Honestly half of the Mobile Homes look like full size houses. Only downside is when theres a lot of rain, the roads can flood a bit

Very low scale. I would never want a relative to live there. Pitiful place. Better places than that on Baltimore

The listings make it sound like youre going to rent the house. Only when you get to the community do you realize its a mobile home park.

We recently moved into Maralago Cay and we couldnt be happier. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. The neighbors are friendly and there is a great community feeling here. Our expectations have been exceeded on every level.

Six Percent (6%) lot rent increase in a year when inflation is less than two percent. This company throws around words like Market Rate to justify increasing rents way beyond anything that can be justified. One sales manager says they attempt to raise lots rents five to ten percent each year. At six percent, that means they double every ten years. At ten percent they double every seven years. Is your income rising five to ten percent each year? Of course not. This is not sustainable. Also Equity Lifestyle responds to everything VERY SLOWLY! And, what they tell you and what they are willing to put in writing are two very different things. Having your property parked on their land when they can raise your rent each year is a terrible idea. Just dont do it.

Upscale mobile home park with more amenities than you pr your visiting family or friends will ever have a chance to appreciate. Florida leisure at its finest.

Have lived there for 4 years. I had nasty neighbors that would harass me. No help from office. So I moved trying to sell home and have had SEVERAL people say that they cant live in a place where the office is so rude so now no one will buy. I had to leave 4 messages at office regarding required paperwork with no call back. I called from another phone and they picked right up. Since my home has been vacant each time they put a notice on my door something has been stolen. First it was my garbage cans then a week later my big potted plant. They have raised the lot rent consistently each year and theres nothing you can do about it. My neighbor behind me had a beautiful cat that would go outside sometime until the parks maintenance man trapped him and killed him. As well as my nasty neighbor would help trap to dispose of animals.

Very nice manufactured homes and moderately older mobile homes. Nicely kept, seems active people live here.

If you like living in a place with a bunch of old Canadians, than this is the place for you. Golf carts, French speaking, and nosy old ladies.

We live in pease our comunity is quayet some times we hear something but not outrage

The administration from this place is not professional and the customer service is not worth not even renting in this place.

Some of the trailers are great and are greatly priced. But the lot rent is $900.00 a month, which we felt was way too high. We loved a trailer, and had the money to buy it. I really would love to move there. But when we own a home, I do not feel that we should pay almost $1000.00 a month for the small piece of property that it sits on. The Park did have a pool and amenities but we dont think it is worth that much a month. We could rent one for less a month and have the same amenities at a different park and not have to pay for things that break or go wrong with the trailer. I dont understand why a person would buy and own the trailer, and pay that much a month. I would really like to have comments because we are still looking for a home to buy and I would like to have a better understanding of why buy a home and pay $900.00 a month? GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. MAKE SURE YOU WANNA SPEND $1,000 A MONTH ON LOT FEES SO YOU CAN USE THE POOL ALONG SIDE EVERYONES GRANDKIDS YELLING AND SCREAMING. PLUS POWER, CABLE, INTERNET AND WATER. $1300 a month to live in your own house that you just paid for!????!!!!! STUPIDO!!!!!

This place is just terrible. I have several family members that live here. The office staff constantly harassed my grandmother until she passed away. They forced my aunt to sell her place at a massive loss back to the community as others have mentioned. Neighbors are hit or miss like most other places. Steer clear of this place if you can.

I have lived here now for four years they are now letting a bad element move-in were there once was strict background checking and age requirement and pet size requirement all of the things seem to have gone out the window there’s no way that I can be going on at this point with the people I see living here now they are now praying upon the elderly offering services taking advantage of them and the park has raised the lot rent to whereas elderly on a fixed income can no longer afford to live here and no one will buy the houses because of the lot rent so therefore the park allows undesirables to move in because there is no one else to choose from There is currently a lawsuit in progress with the residence trying to slow the yearly increase of Lot rent with no results that has been going on for years and I’m soon to get a notice of this year’s increase highly recommend staying away from this place

But like others have said lot rent way to high another increase and Im DONE. Will have to move.. I thought there were people fighting for this to stop. If Rent goes up going back to west coast where the lot rents are reasonable!!Rent did go up i kept trying to call Equity Lifestyle because that was the 3rd time rent increased in about15 mos! Went up when i moved there, went up in January, was going up the next january! For 3 months i tried to contact regional office no one answered! I left Oct and pay 1/2 of lot rent now! They are trying to get 3000 dollars out of me because i had to mpve after i bought a trailer and they made 6400 on it i signed trailer over when i left! Crooked company!! Office never has right information! But not worth it because Company doesnt care!

I own a home here. What really annoys me is every year the lot rent increases. People on fixed incomes try to survive here and, unfortunately, have to sell and move away because of the greed of the company that owns the property. Its not like you can just pick up your home and move it to another location. The water is filtered well water in the development and at least 2x a month there is an emergency and a water main breaks- resulting in the need to turn off water to the community and boil it days afterward before it is safe to drink again. At least, I like my neighbors. Thats one plus +.

Perfect place for 55 people.

Very clean safe and secure 55 and older community. Lived here for 9 years and my only complaints are a terrible guest gate system and the rates were going up too high every year until recent action. I love it here.

Raise rent astronomically every year. Make it very hard to resell home due to renter “standards”, so you cannot sell your home you are forced into selling it back to them at a loss. Trap house cats and release them in state parks. Water is undrinkable from tap, comes out yellow. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMMUNITY! You will be making a huge mistake!!

I live there only thing i find is that that lot rent is rather high for people on fixed income people whom make less than 1000 dollars a month have to sell and leave and unlike my mother she wants this to be her last home she has been there since 1998 cut these seniors a break
