Very intimate venue, not a bad seat in the house! Weve gone to about a dozen shows and always had a great time. The acts are a good mix of genres and national and local talent. The sound is managed very well and ive never heard it get too loud or uncomfortable at any shows. I would highly recommend!
Seriously one of those hidden gems we hear about from time to time. Our first visit was last night to see Dixons Violin. With only 80(?) seats, I dont believe there would have been a bad seat in the house. The two bathrooms were clean and well kept. The sound system was nice except for a very few times the bass sounded like it was connected to a wobbly metal pole (it wasnt ) This was a great experience and I will definitely watch their website to see what acts are coming up. One of those places that is just welcoming and warm
The Poetry Room nights are a rollercoaster good time with phenomenal local poets and musicians. You never know what youre gonna get. Def worth checking out.
Ive had the pleasure of attending several shows at the Robin Theater. This space is small but really allows for a much more intimate experience between the audience and the performers. This venue and its wonderful schedule of events speaks to all that is beautiful about Lansing.
Great evening out. New to the Lansing area and was very happy to experience this Listening Room. Everyone there was very helpful and easy to talk May Erlewine and Anna Nash put on a great show. The intimate atmosphere and clear house rules for cell phones allowed this respectful and mature place to enjoy music. I look forward to my next visit
This is a small and intimate theater excellent were listening to small groups. Interaction was great between audience members and the group.
Mind blown by the most titillating, genuine, and rock solid performance ever for a small venue. Will be back for many more.
What a great night to meet new people And hear some really great original music. Lansing has talent! fun atmosphere to just kick back and enjoy a musical evening! thank you loudspaces and Robin Theater,
I have been to many shows at this venue and I also host events here. The owners are also personal friends of mine. There is one thing I can tell you that is not biased and that is they really care about the community and will do everything they can to make each and every event special. I really appreciate this space and everything they have done for Lansing.
Very much enjoyed the energy of the place, to see a show in such an intimate cozy theatre was a wonderful experience. The owners were warm and friendly.
This is a beautiful and intimate listening room. I love that they encourage you to put away your phone and just be present. The room sounds great and the interplay between artist and audience is lovely. We will definitely be back.
Have been able to view some very small town personable shows, my favorite was Dracula
Few places have this energy. Theres something elemental happening here. This space given over to voice, in each of its nuanced forms is edgy, serene, perfect. Come here and find it for yourself.
Very small venue, but lots of fun! The sound quality surprised me; it was much better than I was expecting for the space. If there is a show you are interested in seeing performing there, you should definitely go!
Intimate setting with great ambiance and good sound..
A great small & intimate venue--not a bad seat in the place.
Great theater, recreating old radio shows. Loved it!
To perform at The Robin Theatre youll feel as comfortable as performing in your own home. A perfect small venue for rocking out in a big way. The Robin is a great performance space in Metro Lansing. Business and entertainment wise, The Robin Theatre just makes sense.
First time there. We wanted to check out the area and make use of some of the cool places. We didnt know what to expect but came away pleased. We listened to a very talented singer guitar player, Hiroya Tsukamoto. Small stage, intimate setting. Holds maybe 50 people. Evidently you can bring in your own coffee or soft drinks. We will go back.
If youre into intimate gatherings for up to 100 would-be friends to experience live shows, this is the venue for you. The Robin Theatre brings in talent from near and far (I caught a stand-up comic from Montreal!) to the REO Town, and all of Lansing is better for their efforts. Check out their offerings and support them so they can continue their class act(s)!
The Robin always has interesting plays, shows, and events. Its small, intimate, and personal. I dont get there nearly as often as I want.
Very intimate atmosphere with the artist. Very clean, the decor was tasteful and the host was very pleasant. I highly recommend it and that was my first time ever being there. I look forward to going again.
Intimate, small venue. Great view of the stage from anywhere. Ticket prices are reasonable.
Nice intimate stage. Good for folk singers or acoustic performers. The Ten Pound Fiddle has performances three occasionally.
Great venue, great artist...
Wonderful small creative space. They host so many amazing diverse events. Ive attended local theater, local concerts, yoga classes, art markets and fundraisers in this space. Always a good time, and the owners are very good people and do important things for this community
Cozy theater with wide variety of events.
Great place to hang around and enjoy a band.
Saw Root Doctor and it was such a great time. Staff is the best!
Great place to enjoy music. Loved the venue and will be back for sure
The most delightful venue, filled with charm and owned by some of the best in the community.
Its small but they make great use of the space and the events ive gone to are always worth it. Easy to strike up a conversation and even meet with the performers after their event.
I love this place! They host wonderful activities and performances that are open to the public and are welcoming with LGBT+ folk! Definitely my favorite place in Lansing.
Great upcoming venue. Will definitely continue to support.
Excellent. Dom Flemons was great; a real national treasure. Most comfortable folder chairs.
Small smart and real-- this theater is run by the owners, who live upstairs, and introduce nearly all the shows, which run from improv to music to theater to experimental film. The show that I saw this week was excellent, but in general you can trust the venue to offer up smart stuff by real people.
Great place to see live theater, some great actors and actresses.
Great little theater, intimate setting for nice live music.
Very small but nice enough place. Weird experience for a comedy show.
Spent an amazing evening enjoying music and poetry with some awfully talented people!
Great little community theatre. Small and intimate, a great place to hear live music!
We have attended live performances here. Nice venue.
Nice and cozy theater. Perfect place for a date.
What a great place and a great addition to REO. My wife and I went to the holiday show this year and we had a blast. It was a very intimate, fun and interactive show.I thought the show would be long but I was actually sad that it ended so fast! I hope to attend the show every year from here on out and make it part of my family tradition. Oh, and I learned how to play the kazoo because before that night, I had no clue.Well done and keep up the good work. Its people like Dylan and Jeana-Dee that make Lansing great!
Great multi purpose venue! Dylan and Jeana-Dee are the best!
Very cozy and comfortable performance venue!
Youre always close to the stage in this small, intimate theatre

Wonderful Venue!! Kudos to the owners for their Beautiful little theatre!
Intimate, charming venue with friendly, down-to-earth mgmt. Totally lovable!
This theatre is wonderful venue to perform in.
Heard a lot of words I dont know the meanings of; humbling experience!
Might be good for some things, but overselling such a small space as they did at a recent show makes for a bad experience overall.
An incredible partner in the rejuvenation of REO Town.
Good shows!
Best listening room maybe anywhere!
