This park is a tragedy. It sits on a really nice looking plot of land, and the park is visually appealing...until you go to drop in. Clearly built by a construction company with no experience in creating skate-able surfaces, every wall is inconsistent - bumpy and sketchy. I’ve been to hundreds of skateparks in my life and I would say this park takes the cake on having the worst transitions i’ve ever seen. The town should bulldoze and rebuild...second time’s a charm.Don’t waste your time checking this park out. Head over to Reid Menzer to enjoy a properly built skatepark.

The county didnt do any research and thought the skaters wanted bowls. The walls are uneven which make the ride very sketchy. I wish they would demolish it and redo it with more of a park feel. Some ledges and rails and stairs. Actual ramps. The only good thing about this place is youre usually by yourself because its so bad to skate, nobody goes there.

Its a good small skate park. Its not worth making the trip if you live closer to Reid Menzer. It has a couple of great pools and if you dont want cyclists or scooters where you skate, this is is the place to go.

No Bmx allowed makes no sense. Place is empty. skaters hate it. Place is patrolled like it is Lancasters greatest treasure. It’s just a dumb idea and keeps the two sports hate for each other alive. The guys who petition to have it built say to fill it with water for a pond. Open it to everyone and get it insured for bikes.

As the rating suggests, its okay. Can be a bit of a pain to get to, depending on your transportation. Its fun to cruise around in the bowls but the transition angles are a little kinky and vary depending on what area your riding on. One spot might be a real mellow drop-in point and another spot might be really steep and sketchy.

As far as when its open, its touch and go. However, if bowl skating is your thing, this place is up your alley. A snake run, a mini ramp, a couple big bowls and ledges. Even a loop. Make sure you have your pads and helmet though unless you want a fine from the park rangers.

This park was designed by construction workers, not skateboarders. So many of the transitions are off / too steep / don’t make sense. It’s pretty tough to skate, and you’re required to wear full pads. The park rangers come around often and if you don’t have pads or a helmet they’ll make you leave. Litiz and Overlook Skatepark are much better and close by!

Great park just be cautious. My wife and I just took our kids there today to play basketball and found a cigarette pack with a hypodermic needle in it.

Awesome that Lancaster has a skate park.

Park is good in a nice area but the ramps are kind of hard to skate and feels like construction workers built it instead of actual skateboarders

This skate is a terrible design. Ramps are way to steep to ride! And the transitions are poorly placed. It’s a bummer because they put a lot of money in the construction. But the riding is no bueno. Wouldn’t recommend coming.
