My husband and I rented the Stone House for a small wedding last weekend and it was beautiful. The building is historic and has been updated with AC and new fixtures. There are plenty of sturdy chairs and tables for use, and the grounds are well kept.Ive chosen a lower rating because I wanted to warns others about the alarm system. We were charged part of our deposit because the maintenance crew claimed that the backdoor was unlocked, the lights were left on, and the alarm was not set. We followed the instructions they give exactly and were very careful to make sure everything was in place before we left. Im confident that the house was secured exactly as was expected of us. We even saw the phrase, delayed for exit on the alarm, which we interpreted to mean that everything was set as it should be.The people we dealt with were perfectly nice and professional, but still refused to accept that we had done what was asked of us. I am sharing so that other renters might avoid the same situation. Im hoping that theyve updated their instructions to be more clear.

A great place for a birthday celebration

Sunday wedding was beautiful! easy to pick up keys, easy to clean. used the interior to hold the food and had a few tables outside for seating and gifts. received LOT of complements.

Held a wedding here. Building had AC so was a perfect place for the bride to get ready and for people to cool off. Has nice flowers, and well kept lawn.

Always a beautiful place to visit for scenery, exercise and ambiance. I enjoy walking my dogs in this beautiful open space.

Nice location for events. Great surrounding area for photos and the actual house is nice for parties.

Great place to run, bird watch, watch wildlife, picnic, play catch with your grandson... Its like going out to the country, but its just down the road.

Like this Lil open space nice views and a few lakes and plenty of walking trails my favorite part is after it snows love to use the parking lot to drift!!!!

In the mid-90s, my friend Jill and I would have lunch here during spring and summer months; we worked nearby and it was a nice midday break. Its as beautiful and serene as ever today.

Cool Lakewood history. Lots of goose droppings in the park.

Great park to bring your family or pets too. Ive seen many wedding hosted here add well as other social events. Great beautiful park.

Its a great small party rental location it would be nice though if there was a sign saying the bathrooms were downstairs though.

Great walking trails. Lake with fishing and picnic areas available. Can rent Stone House for events, but kind of pricey.

It was very dirty and someone pulled the bench off so there was no place to sit and the water was almost black and you could not see anything
