What a cool venue to work in as a photographer. Rustic feel, well done decor inside. I would say though, the wedding I photographed today has a pretty large guest list and the space felt a little cramped for dancing. Tables and catering space seemed fine, just a little tight in the middle where the dance floor was setup.
Very interesting place. A plethora of artists’ items and vintage pieces that can fit all budgets. Interesting area dedicated to the cars once manufactured on this site as well.
The screw factory is a local, affordable, organic artistic center of Lakewood. Having a resource like this available is something that makes Lakewood a great place to live. Come for yoga, buy some art, stop in for the holiday and spring or fall art shows, rent your own studio space. Either way, come visit and celebrate our local artists.
What an awesome space for artists!Check out the artists websites also for classes and gallery/art showcases.
Wonderful place full of artist studios. Ive been to multiple markets, and theyre always a great time.
Holiday Market at The Screw Factory! It was fantastic. So many different vendors with a wide variety of handmade and vintage items. I was able to get gifts for those hard to buy for people. Highly recommend going next year.
Beautiful space, lovely place for a wedding reception
This old factory has been repurposed into artist lofts they have open houses a few times a year where they have all the artist selling their wares and a museum of a car that was manufactured in that building called a templar really a good show
I went for their Christmas sale. Very crowded. Parking is a mostly gravel lot and we had to walk up several flights of steep metal stairs to get to the third and second floors. There may be a freight elevator somewhere but I didnt see it. Lots of unique gifts--pottery studio, glass art, jewelry, photography and paintings. Really fun time!
Amazing art and lots to see!
So fun seeing the areas awesome artists!!! Always find a unique treasure everytime we go there!
I dont even know how to properly review a place like this. Its a repurposed factory that (maybe?) still is in some areas and now has a bunch of artists studios. Only been here for some art shows and independent/small press comic cons. Has a real cool underground feel to it. Theres stairs and elevators and stuff.
This place is HUGE! 3 floors, easy to get lost but so many amazing artists!
Was here for a wedding. There was no signage for where to enter building, which was very frustrating as I was with two people who could not walk far. We had a long walk down a twisting corridor or a flight of stairs to climb. So, this place is not handicap accessible at this time. It was interesting inside, but looks like a work in progress.
This place does not sell screws!!?? No nails. No bolts. No fasteners of any kind!!!!
Very cool place
Great place to see and purchase amazing art!
A wonderful Christmas tradition to visit amazing artist and purchase their wares!
Its not illegitimate underground fights. I want it to be too, but its not.
Great craft and artist show. Have another one in spring
Nice place to work
Visited event because my daughter was a vendor. Interesting use of a former manufacturing building with some space for permanent Crafters to work on their products year round.
