This is a great little shop with lots of fish to choose from and the owner is so fown yo earth and seems to want to help you in any way he can. For you salt water or fresh water aquarium needs stop by and check this little shop out. The only negative thing I can say is there is no sign out on the building just the sign on the door. He sells kois and many others has a lot of live rock as well.

I loved this place. The owner and staff super friendly. I found the fish I was looking for. The fishes look healthy and the fish tanks were very clean. Really nice place. I was in love of my new koi fish and gold fish.

If he doesnt have it in stock he does his best to get it in-stock for you. Ive ordered my hillstream loaches from him and my pygmy corydoras. Also I purchased his live plants: amazon sword, moneywort and dwarf sagittaria all have done great in my tank. He has a great selection of frozen hikari food. Great prices and great quality. Will definitely continue going to him if I need anything

I love this little shop! Darrell was really open and honest and has the best price you can find in Lakeland! I bought two Black moor goldfish and a Pleco, all three were healthy! He was really helpful and Honest when selecting The fish! Can’t wait to see this place grow and will 10/10 come back!

Went directly from a big box store over to this spot today and so glad we did. Darrell didnt hesitate to spend a fair amount of his time answering all of the many questions we had. Prices were extremely reasonable. We look forward to many future visits!

This is a great shop! The owner runs the place and he’s very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. If he doesn’t have what you are looking for in stock, he will make every attempt to get it ordered and ready for you, which is much more then most other stores even offer if you can get them to pay attention to you. Saltwater, freshwater, planted, etc, he knows what’s up!

I’m a big believer in supporting local businesses. First time I went to Darrell’s I had already known who he was but never personally met him, but he’s a really nice and honest guy. He won’t sell you things you don’t need and will admit if he doesn’t know something. I am definitely going to continue going here, very good prices and definitely want to see this place grow even more since the first time I went.

The most knowledgeable person in the hobby for all of Polk County. Healthiest fish I have ever seen at any aquarium store in the area. Definitely the best pricing and doesnt try to sell you something you wont need for your tank! I just bought four fish for my 75 gallon and they were eating as soon they were acclimated to my tank. Cant wait to see more of their stock come in and corals. A must stop place for the aquarium hobbyist in Polk County.

Darrell is one of the most knowledgeable people i have met when troubleshooting my reef tank. He has literally given me HOURS of guidance. Other shops have been extremely happy to sell me replacements. Darrell helped to identify my problems and is the only reason my tank went from sham to glam!!! Thank you again for all you have done to help me!!!

I’ve been to a lot of local fish stores from Tampa to Orlando but this one takes the cake his prices are insanely low and the quality and love that Darrel puts into his store and livestock shows. Not a lot of stores carry live phytoplankton, pods and brine shrimp but he covers all hobbyists needs.

Ive known Darrel now for over 5 years and he is the person to go to if you have any questions on reef or freshwater aquariums very knowledgeable person lets all support him and keep our business in Lakeland.

I was so glad to find this place after being stuck with only one other local aquarium shop that was of dubious quality. I’m excited to see how his store evolves with business starting to go back to normal after the shutdown.

Darrell is such a sweetheart! He always lets my kids feed the fish and gives them a hands on experience. If he doesnt have what I want he tracks it down and orders it for me. My planted tanks are the talk of the office thanks to Darrells aquarium.
