I recently purchased several paintings from the Bruce Kodner Galleries. Two days later, I received a call from Sharon letting me know that the authenticity of the paintings was in question and that they were investigating. They immediately refunded what I paid. Should the paintings prove authentic, I will get them for what I originally paid.Buying art requires trust. Every auction house in the world has been duped into selling forgeries...including Sothebys! Bidding and buying art online requires even more trust. I am reassured knowing that the Bruce Kodner Galleries have my back! I will be doing much more business with them in the future!

I put my trust in this man to give me a fair offer for some items I sold him. He totally ripped me off. I asked him for what I thought was fair, to give me a value so he could double his money, He took advantage of me because I put my trust in him. He gave me next to nothing for some valuable items.

I buy from auctions all around the world and weekly. I can tell you that they only thing that matters in an auction house is when something doesnt go as planned. In the case I had this happen Bruce was more than willing to make it right. I was surprised given the responses from other auction houses in similar circumstances. I will always buy from them and feel safe doing that.

I bought a clock that was reported as working. When I received it, it wasnt.I asked him to pay for 1/2 the total cost of shipping/repair and he readily agreed.The check was in the mail when I received the total from the repairman.Very honest auctioneer.

I auctioned things with him. He makes the starting price but you never see the purchase price. Everything sells for the starting price. Why is the final price a secret??? He has two of my items for 1.5 years. He never notifies me of the status. When I call I get a runaround. There is no customer service. I implore you to beware of dealing with Bruce Kodner. This should be your last resort. He could not care less about your satisfaction. His employees are good and are helpful until they have to deal with Bruce about your situation. They are powerless to help you even though they want to help you to resolve the Kodner system of injustice. BE CAREFUL

This guy is a crook! He takes consignors goods, and then never pays them. He will never issue a customer a refund, instead tries to give you a credit for the next auction. If you look at his reviews, I can guarantee you, they are fake. Sleezy fast talker, that will dodge anyone he owes money.

Mr. Kodner reached out to me about a Presidential Oyster Perpetual Rolex that was handed down to me as a family heirloom. Now mind you my mother past away only three week proir to the to this conversation between Mr. Kodner and I, explaining how much sintamental value it holds from my family plus the item in general, Mr. Kodner responded with do you have funds availible after all of the funeral expenses so on and so forth! As a man i obviously said were okay we will make it thru.Then Mr.Kodner asks for my address. I proceeded to give it to him even though i wasnt sure if i should lose the only item my mother left me. Contemplating what i should do and weather or not he is comimg now or later. I Suddenly get a knock at my door followed by a very inviting New York assertive accent Stating Mr. Scott come outside its Bruce Kodner And.again words cant describw how his generous offer caused me to brurst into tears he then grabs me and hugged me.and strated crying as well. I was successful bidder on a very expensive Patek Philippe watch. The item was incorrectly described, and not worth anywhere near my bid. I called to resolve this error and Bruce was not will to cancel the auction. I have purchased many watches from Bruce, however he has lost a very valuable customer.
