Funny. Go there for an experience. See TERRIBLE one dimensional art with no introspection and be treated like the PEON you are with NO education. Its a great experience if u need that. Lord knows, i did. And now i respect myself.JK I ALWAYS DID. and this place is an abomination to everything imaginative and creative.

Maria is great and the atmosphere is awesome!

Maria Paz has recently moved, for the second time in less than a year, to a larger studio at 515 Lake Avenue in Lake Worth. She does it all and does a fabulous job with all of it: custom art, very reasonably-priced and fun sip and paint classes, murals both indoors and out, artwork for sale in the Art Studio Cafe, painted furniture and clothing, private parties, private lessons, and open studio three days a week.She is a talented, kind, gentle, and encouraging teacher. As an artist myself (Masters Degree in the Teaching of Fine Arts), I recognize a great artist as well as a great art teacher. Maria is one of those special people. She turns hesitant beginners into artists with her skills, patience, and motivation. Visit the studio and look around at the beautiful art and take a class to bring out the artist in you! We have a wonderful time. Her prices are VERY reasonable for all that she offers: canvases, brushes, paints, refreshments, and step by step instructions from the award-winning artist herself.

A friend of mine ordered an item from this store while visiting down there. She put a deposit on a chair that was supposed to be mailed to her. After 9 months and multiple calls to the store while they stalled, my friend has still not received her chair and the lady at this studio was so rude and refused to refund the money she paid. I think 9 months waiting for a product is absolutely ridiculous and now she’s out the money she paid and never got her chair

This is a great place to relax and let yourself go as you create your own work of art. Maria is a fantastic hostess.

Planned an event with this artist for a geriatric group of ours. I was quoted $150 for 10 people. I made invitation cards for individuals to come to this event and had 17 individuals sign up. I called requesting an invoice to submit to our sponsors, she was so so rude and rushed me off the phone because she was out on a project and told me to submit an email. After a few days I noticed the invoice was never emailed, I called her. No only was she very rude picking up the phone, but she stated to me that she cannot do the $15 per person, it would have to be $25. Mind you, I have already discussed this with the sponsors all they needed was the invoice. Also this is less than a week before the event. We have a wellness and community center flyer and this goes out to the community and our patients. Now I will need to contact every person on that list also talk to our partners in the community to announce that we have canceled the event. This was just unprofessional. I work with the community and this could have been a really great opportunity. Never again. Her phone etiquette is terrible.

Super cute studio woth great classes and events.

Not sure I would call anything I’ve seen at this place “art”. Also when I walked by in late 2016 coming home from a jog, the woman/owner was quite rude to me when i inquired what they were building (there was lots of construction going on inside). That beautiful mural from Mother Earth is gone, now we have something up like a child might doodle.
