Beautifully done veterans memorial. Park is well landscaped and can be enjoyed all seasons. Its nice to see support for veterans in an affluent area like LO, some of us born and raised there, serve our country, so thank you to those involved in making this possible.

Its a great waterfront Park that has nice views of the river, great paths. To me, the best part of this park is that it is home to The Lake Oswego War Memorial. Its a fitting tribute to those from the area who served and sacrificed for this great nation.

Good for a walk or a swim, not much else to do. I did not find much for the kids to play on.

Nice paved path. Gets you close to the Willamette at some points. Very popular especially with teenagers in summer due to close proximity to the river

This is a beautiful park near the river. Great location for field games and picnics. Park also offers nice footpaths for walking.

There is a lot of open space here and room to play frisbee, fly a kite or throw a ball. There is no playground, but there is a water feature. It’s beautiful and well kept.

Great park, perfect for our Cub Scout Arrow of Light and Crossover Ceremony. Attractive and functional shelter with several wire mesh table and chairs in addition to the stone fire place. Large grassy areas, overlooks the water, and has a walkway that extends out onto a platform midway over the river. Beautiful, relaxing, functional park.

A nice place for a picnic and a short walk. The park was clean and had good views of the water.

This park is nice, but theres always a bunch of loud kids/teenagers running around, lol. So, if youre looking for solitude this probably wouldnt be the best choice in the area!! :-)

On Saturday afternoon, My friends and I rowed up on our kayaks/scanoe of. Sitting here at foothills park its quiet and really nice. Just watching bees and wasps fight. Bunch of Pokemon GO people there was a kids party with a few bounce houses. If you have an event here, You probably have to rent out the covered area. There are about 10 small black tables with 4 seats. There is a little river thing, not sure if you can play in it. But I would deff play in it. The lookout deck is beautiful to watch boats go by. Paved pathways nice to ride bikes or walk a stroller. Very nice park to take children to walk or play in the grass. Where I am sitting, I do not see a playground.

Beautiful park but has very limited parking if you need van accessible parking. The one van accessible spot is almost always taken so it has taken multiple attempts to finally visit this park.

Along a backwater of the Willamette

I decided to walk around the foothills. I had been there once before. I found a Stonehenge-like structure with quotes on it. I hadnt noticed it before. I took out my guitar and played to a fallen tree and its surroundings. The leaves looked like they were clapping to some of my songs. Birds were also part of my audience. They would notice when I erred and let me know it. The purity of Gods voice speaking to me was evident. My voice and guitar playing was vascilating between ok and pretty damn good. And my surroundings let me know both good and bad. Once in a awhile a person, couple, or parent and child would walk by or sit at a bench nearby. I didnt face them, but I sometimes knew when they were there. There was an occasional kayaker or boat on the water going by. I wondered if the sound was reaching them.I wonder if my noise is for anyones ears to hear but mine and Gods. Its a lonely time

Got pics of the frost on the grass. Watched some cormorants take off and go under water. Nice place for leisurely stroll. Used to be where Crown Zellerbach had its wood chip barges loaded from the rail cars.

Foothills is a beautiful park in Lake Oswego. It will even be nicer when they get he Veterans Memorial built.

Foothills park is a large open park on the banks of the Willamette river. It has river boat access, a beautiful elevated viewing platform, walking pathways, game fields, a toddler safe water feature, a group event shelter, restrooms, parking. In all, it a popular park for young and old.

I grew up in LO but never knew this park existed. Very nice large, grassy park with a covered picnic area. Great platform that you can walk out to overlook the river. Also has a small water feature that kids can play in. Very spacious and beautiful views.

This place is awesome. It is a fairly new park and is always clean. The restrooms are nice as well. There is a place you can BBQ and they always have live events there.

This is a beautiful river front park in Lake Oswego. Nice covered pick-nick are with a stone fireplace and briquette grills. There is a cool stream that trickles by the sitting area. Also a large grassy are with an amphatheater, nice walking path by the river with art placed in tasteful spots. You can walk out over the water on a platform or on to the water on a dock. No playground but there is a set of climbing rocks to play on.

The walkway by the river is very dangerous for little kids lot of cracks in it could use a lot of work to make it nice and smooth for strollers awesome.

Love this park! Really clean, lots of well manicured grass, fountains, giant chess set, free concerts, walking trails, covered BBQ areas, yacht parking, and a turn around.

Nice LO greenspace. Its our go-to kite-flying spot.Summer brings cheesy outdoor concerts, though. The ba-thump-thump-thump travels up the river valley like a Civil War reenactment; ugh, on all counts.
