Beautiful course. Carts have GPS to tell how far from the hole and help not get lost. Course is in a private residential neighborhood. Cannot walk the course. You need the cart. We were visiting and so glad the cart directed us. Lol. Challenging for me a beginner and my first 18 hole course. I loved it.

A beautiful private golf course, 72 holes. We weren’t able to play but we checked out the grounds, the clubhouse, restaurant and the pool area. It’s a beautiful place to have an event.I WOULD go back.

First off, the place is beautiful from the course to the club house. The cart lady is always very pleasant and playing the full 18 is relatively inexpensive. My favorite part about this course is all the wild life. You see so many different animals while playing that it is a treat. If you can tuff out the heat and humidity during the warmer months, I think that you will find this course beautiful, fun, and even challenging - but in a good way.

This is a great golf club for the price! Beautiful view of the lake and cheap membership fees! I recommend golfing this course when your in the area!

If youre going to golf, this place is rapidly going down hill. Theres no longer a first cut then rough. Its fairway then dirt and weeds. What a shame. When in Havasu always looked forward to a round and the scenery. Not worthy of the cost.

It was wonderful the service was great but we had a heck of a time trying to get out cuz theres no exit signs so you dont know how to get out of there would it kill you to put in a sign that says Exit instead of making us trying to get out from the way we got in for 10 minutes. Also whats with all the chains on the driveways???This is a really nice restaurant and I would love to come back but why do you make it so difficult to get in and out of there? I would give you five stars except for that one area that needs to be corrected

Lake Havasu City has a beautiful lake and great winter weather, BUT it is really scab desert. So The Refuge golf course and restaurant is TRULY a REFUGE!!The golf course and views are beautiful; the food, outstanding; and the bartender/waitress, a delight.

A great place to play. Great service, great staff. Theyre always improving the grounds. So there could be a few detours while playing.

The course has tremendous potential. Standard of maintenance is poor. We showed up for our tee times and carts were not available. The course would be difficult to walk. When we did finally get a cart, the brakes hardly worked and the holder for the scorecard was non existent. We heard new management is working to improve. Not sure we will be back.

Beautiful scenery. The Resturaunt is way over rated. Food was really tasty but nothing was warm. I had eggs Benedict with salmon. It was so good but cold. Not even luke warm. Others in my group said the same thing.

My friend Michael brought me here for lunch and I was so impressed with the professional, courteous, welcoming and spot-on service, that we immediately joined for a Wine and Dine membership. (we dont golf much - or very well) The process again was fantastic. (thank you Billy!)Top notch - top to bottom. Id give 20 stars if I could.

Great golf course and clubhouse

This is a fun course! Challenging layout that challenges you off the tee, well defined fairways and lots of green grass. Several holes have water around the green. The greens were smooth and receptive. Traps could use some work... The staff meets you in the parking lot with a cart for you to use. The club washer, ice chest and free bottle of water in the cart are a nice touch

I purchased a 5 year “play and stay” package. It is a great place to stay. Large motorhome spaces walking distance to club house and a great golf course

Sunday morning went out as a single was told there was a small tournament on the back nine so went out the front played fast a single can move along a a good paceGet to the turn in enough time come to find out it’s a shotgun start there was no way I could play the back nine .Management at the front desk was cold don’t remember his name said he would charge me for 9 wich came to 52.50 only paid 65.00 for eighteenWill never play this coarse againReally 52.50 for 9 holes

Hard for moderate golfer..lots of traps..hills..no steps to green..if you have a lower back/ knee/ ankle issue..not for you ..every hole

Enjoyed my round. The greens are a little bumpy. Golf carts are a little ragged. Staff was nice. Fairways are nice. But all in all 4 stars.

Honestly I wasnt really a big fan. If you miss the fairway by even a small amount youre hitting off of dirt. The sand traps are like concrete. The sprinkler ran while we were on the driving range. The clubhouse is beautiful and the views on the course are beautiful. If they took better care Id bump to 4 maybe even 5 stars. Charging $100 a round I expect things to be well kept and unfortunately that did not happen

This golf course is not worth the $100 they charge you to play it. The Fairways are in terrible condition. The greens are in good condition but thats about it. The best deal in town is the Lake Havasu Golf Club where you can play unlimited golf for what two rounds at The Refuge cost. I wont be back.

It is a beautiful, challenging course. The staff are very accommodating & friendly. Will most certainly return. Need TO TRY to find lost balls..there are several

RV service was horrible. There is none. Andrew Matt didn’t even work. Overpriced, and no view of the lake like we were promised when we called over the phone. The woman over the phone was not helpful whatsoever. We were the only ones there when we got there.Would not recommend, would recommend buying a house here however.

Attended the Lotts wedding on October 6, 2018. I must say the food, both the appetizers after the ceremony and the main dish at the reception were excellent! Overall, I had a great time and a great experience with what was provided with everyone and everything.

Fiesta Buffet (Tues)...obviously geared to mid westerners who dont know real Mexican food. The enchilada sauce tastes like marinara, canned tasteless beans, canned chili queso dip, dry fajitas, and salsa that tastes sugary. Ambience is nice with a lovely lake view and friendly staff. Maybe their menu items are better but definitely skip the Tuesday night buffet.

Very classy place to go. Huge golf course and classy restaurant that over looks the place. Very beautiful and also expensive to eat at.

Its an OK course but definately not worth what theyre charging for green fees. I guess those fees have to cover all the other amenities which we never used.

We really enjoyed our first round on this course - four stars for layout, scenery and playability - missing a star because the course condition was not quite up to par, and the restaurant was understaffed and closing early (3pm)
