Lovely course up on the North Shore in Lake Forest. My better half and I trek up from Chicago to play a loop here once a year, and it’s always a great time. Very friendly staff and the ranger is super nice.

Deerpath is a great course if you havent tried it out yet its a must. Great staff, great pace, we did 18 holes in 4 hours in a mid-saturday morning. Definitely one of my favs.... course in great shape even with no significant rain in a month.

Course in great condition but a ranger wouldve really helped. Group in front of us was literally were three holes back, waited on every single shot all day long.

Was able to secure a same-day tee time. We stayed and played another 9; it was a good time and a GREAT sunset!!

Wonderful throwback to the 1920s. A great place to play golf, eat, and have a drink.

I played there December 26, 2019, one of the few course open. It was a delightful day, 62 F, and the sun was shining. Waiting to Tee off, everyone was friendly and excited to be playing so late in the year. Carts were allowed on the course as the fairways were in great shape. Looking forward to playing there this year.

The City employees of Lake Forest just rehabed the inside and outside of the clubhouse. They arent yet finished but are closing in on completion and it looks NICE! The food is also great. I havent actually golfed here yet, but have seen the course and agree it is in good condition.
