Been eating Forest Lanes here for a few years now. Always great. Dinning in or delivery. My last delivery order came slightly cold and after one call, the manager sent a second pizza (nice n hot) over no charge.

Brought my toddler here for the first time. She loved it. The front desk was fast and the fries were good.

I feel like Ive been to 100 birthday parties here. It is definitely a solid go to. Great pace for the kids. Not sure what they like better...the bowling or the video games. The good news is that theres a full bar for the parents.

Top notch bowling facility.Their lanes are just as nice as the staff. I would go out of my way to bowl here. From the aforementioned staff to the league bowlers, this place is the epitome of just a great alley.Maybe Im biased because Ive been bowling here for 30 years; but I wouldnt even consider another alley.Events are run with precision and the food is excellent. Speaking of the food, this stuff is great. Im not kidding when I tell you Ive had everything on the menu; and its all well beyond your expectations for bowling alley food. The kitchen is well stocked and the primary cook (chef?) can accommodate special or finicky requests. Fried food is always cooked to perfection but the talent really shines in the sandwiches and salads. This place is literally worth coming to for lunch just for the food.The lanes tend to have a little less oil than Saddleback Lanes which I am completely cool with but definitely something to consider of you are coming to practice competitively.

Wonderful place to go bowling with family nd friends

Had a great time bowling here with a friend. No complaints. The shoes and balls looked newer than those at other bowling alleys Ive been to. Ill be back again soon.

Service was horrible. Front desk and bartender were so amazingly bad! With all going around in this world right now you would think customer service would be over the top! But it was completely the opposite! They do not deserve 1 star but I don’t know how to give the 0. One last mention the bartender with the red hair needs to find a non customer service job!!!! Will never goBack and never in my life have I left without giving a tip! That’s how bad!!

Went with a big group of buddies...had lots of fun in the bowling arena. Will definitely return again and recommend to others :)

Had a great time with friends. I dont drink but my friends bought drinks & said the bartender was rude. The guy that was giving out the shoes was friendly though. Customer service can improve here.

Learned to bowl here as a kid growing up in Orange County. Still a great place to relax with friends or spouse. Food is pretty good and always available free parking. Mostly older crowd, FYI.

Cosmic night is alot of fun, but parents be aware of the music that they play and music videos they play on all screens.. would be great to bring the kids if they didnt show or play inappropriate songs and music videos. Hope this changes but otherwise fun!

I gave Forest lanes four stars because they are always closing at least half an hour early when I paid for the full night I feel whoever makes the decision to, is taking advantage of their position!this needs to stop or I’ll start going someplace else where the hours on the door are the hours worked..

Just a bunch of girls enjoying their girls night out. Perfect place for some bowling fun. Prices I think went up from the last time I was there but over all wasnt to expensive. The bar is a great bit for some extra fun!

Forest Lanes was a very nice bowling alley there was 40 Lanes here.We had our bowling tournament there the staff was very friendly very active and helpful. Surprisingly the food was excellent for a bowling alley. Never get a chance to check them out.

My kids love this place! Bowling has become one of our familys favorite past times. We are definitely in competition when we walk through these doors. Staff is always friendly and helpful plus the food is really good.

Employees were great. Apparently our lane was about to have an issue and they let us know before we waster any frames and moved us over one lane. It was a fun environment and the alley was clean and well kept.

Have been bowling here for about 10 years. Clean facility, nice staff and the grill has really great food. Have stopped by just to get dinner to go. Try the nachos or splits burger or even cob salad.

We had a small company gathering. The pizza was ok. The chicken wings were excellent. The beer was delicious! No complaints.

New Years Eve cosmic bowling is not to be missed!

I go bowling here on Saturday mornings at 9AM when I can, bowl for $12/hour. This is the cheapest bowling for a lane per hour you can find in the OC. If you go that early in the morning, you can bowl almost where ever you want, besides the league bowling lanes. You can get freshly oiled lane at that time too if you want. If you only want 30 minutes, it is $6. I enjoy interacting manager Alan, he jokes around with me and my brother.

Went there for a tournament. Lanes were nice. Food was good. Bowled on pair with some local bowlers. Excellent experience.

We just decided to bowl on a whim, and we had a great time. Were not bowlers, but it didnt matter. It was a lot of fun especially when they turned on the disco lights and cranked up the dance music.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very understanding when we had friends running behind and we were trying to get a lane on a league night. Our lane hung up a couple times, but they graciously added time on since we had to wait a little. Will be back for sure.

This place was fun and the beer pitchers were decently priced. Bowling wasnt that expensive either. They played good music and had the music videos which was fun to watch. There was a lot of food places nearby I would recommend eating somewhere before coming here. The food isnt terrible but its just standard bowling alley food thats pretty mediocre. The staff was pretty nice no complaints there.

Small bowling alley. Small selection of bowling balls in terms of weight and fit. Most of the lighter weight balls had 5 yr old finger sized holes drilled in them. The bowling alley closed 2 hours early because there werent enough customers to stay open.

This bowling alley is so so... The food taste average and food service is below average, it was self service! Music was great! No one even ask if we needed anything, as soon as we pick up our bowling shoes, the lady says go to number #23. No one assisted us with the machine or if we needed to order food...There are other bowling alleys that have really excellent service.

Could do bigger beer pitchers.. especially for the price and food takes awhile to get.. Otherwise this bowling alley is super clean very nice and very fun.. the interface is very easy to use when adding bowlers and the lanes clear and setup quickly. Wide selection of balls to use that are well organized and the ball return is quick too..

Pretty nice place. Came here with a 3 yr and 2 yr old. All had a good time. Went on a Sunday at 10:30. Paid $15 for the hr plus had to rent shoes at $4 and change. Pretty reasonable price. I read online the cost was $34 and that seems a little expensive.The shoes were in good quality not old, not ran down,and not dirty.They have a nice arcade. My son won two batman dolls.Overall a very nice experience. Would only come when the prices are below $20 for the hour.The staff was nice.

It was nicely remodeled. Very clean. Reasonable rates to rent a lane for hour or two and way better pricing than Saddleback lanes. Staff was responsive but seemed somewhat new. Kids had a great time bowling and our mini birthday party was a success. We will be back.

Great place to bowl... casual atmosphere and good snacks. Didnt like the shoe rentals though, rubber heels make for sticking when you need to slide your foot. Overall I really like the place but will just need to bring my own shoes.

Fun place to bowl with decent bowling alley food and a pretty good beer selection and bar. They dont take amex which was a bit of a pain but they worked with me to figure it out which is why they got the fifth star.

The manager, Quin, at the Bowling Ball Shop did an amazing job with our customer hand drilled bowling balls. We arrived about ten minutes before closing, I know, shame on us, but he accommodated us anyways and got them completed perfectly before he was out for the night! Thank you Quin! I’ll be sure to recommend and shop Forest Lanes from now on!

They hosted the OC USBC senior singles tournament for 2019. The tournament was very well run by the OC USBC and the bowling center did very well to accommodate us as well as had clean bathrooms.

A fun bowling alley with strong drinks and glow in the dark lanes. Best experienced later in the evening.

Nice place for bowling. They have a big lay out. The waitress was wonderful and very accommodating. Food and service were excellent. The lanes were clean and the location was nice. The Pro Shop was wonderful and very nice as well. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. I met some very nice local bowlers.. We were there for a tournament.

Great and most convenient place to bowl near Lake Forest. Havent really gone bowling much in the past 30 or 40 years so not sure how it compares. But it seemed a bit pricey for 2 people 3 games. Maybe old fashion but, with me, there was a romance to hearing rolling balls, pins being shattered and the ambient sound of folks talking & joking with each other about their game, the sound of a couple pinball machines and the guys at the bar yelling at the TV about some penalty call in the game they were watching.All replaced, I suppose in most places, with medium fidelity ceiling speaker music being played as the premier sound that must be appreciated by all. Because natural sounds now somehow leave so many feeling awkward. And any sort of rhythmic noise blanket takes care of that little problem so easily.I digress. Back to the bowling. I miss a score sheet and pencil. Its too McDonalds Cash Register now. Talk about the dumbing down of society. If you cant produce people who can keep a bowling score how will you ever expect to avoid or win a war? Which reminds me, the next world war wont be fought against military objectives. It will be agreements between aggressors as to which cities will be given up as sacrifice before a cease fire is accepted, ...After the major metros are taken out in the first strike, of course.But maybe we need those kinds of no score folks to help bury the ones that survived only to realize there was nothing to live for anymore.And the ignorant shall inherit what was once the earth. ...for a little while anyway.Give us our score sheets and pencils back. A small step towards regaining dignity and not giving morons the power to push buttons and decide the fate of all life on earth.

My son loves to go there on the weekends. It is a nice place and also nice to have some food and drinks. My son would love to go there every week and it is affordable

What a great time our entire group from Orange County School of the Arts had. Clean bowling lanes, numerous bowling balls and great food. Staff treated us like royalty. Great place to bring the family for an evening game or sometime after church.

I love forest lanes and the bowling people are kind and the music is really good .Sometimes bowling alley lane is little mess and sometimes kind hard to figure out button and why bowling say bumpers and switched to No bumpers.

This bowling center is well patronized and it can get crowded at times. Big groups like families get together to play and enjoy each other company over snacks. Place is well-maintained and clean. Not on the inexpensive side but you get what you pay for. Parking is free, credit cards accepted.

Its a bowling alley... But, the equipment is up to date and the patrons were not creepy. A good family outing place for a rainy day.

Went here for a work function and it turned out to be pretty fun. Havent been bowling since high school. The food could definitely use some improvement though.
