Absolutely beautiful course. Took advantage of the $44 special for a round on Sunday. Everything was in great shape. Only issue was the rough. Its literally 2+ thick so watch your ball and try to keep it in the fairway or it will punish you.

Course was in Great shape... Greens and fairways excellent... was alot of fun either by your self or with a group... Staff was excellent...It will not disappoint

Sunday special was a good deal for a clean and beautiful course. $44 and the greens are some of the best Ive played on in Louisiana. Only thing I didnt like was that they didnt have a healthy food option. I will still go back and play again just to see the alligators on the course creating a good Hazzard for the day.

Phenomenal Course! Have always played the Nugget however Contraband is a beautiful, Fazio, designed course. Must play when you go to Lake Charles.

Nice golf course. Very challenging..I like that the have cold towels on ice to cool off with and apples in an ice bucket at turn to snack on.

What a treat! Priced the way it should be. Great day 4/10/18. The course was in great shape for the rain it has received. Greens were fast and true. Not what Im used to in Missouri. I WILL be back next time Im in the area. BEST IVE PLAYED UNDER $50, hell over $50 too!. Staff were ALL friendly.

Drove 2+ hours from Houston to play this course. Paid $94 greens fees for a featureless course that was in terrible condition. Its not worth $50 greens fees, let alone $94. Fairways, tee-boxes, & greens were filled with weeds. The best feature was the bunkers that were in very good condition. The pro shop employee was pleasant but became easily confused. A supervisor arrived and sorted out the confusion but was very ill-tempered through the process. I will not waste my time or money on this facility again.

Played the course last Friday. The fairways and greens especially were in terrible shape. Looked like they had gotten a lot of water and hadnt been able to do any maintenance on the course. The grass on the tee boxes was almost up to the top of my tee. I understand mother nature cant be controlled, but had we known about the poor condition up front, we would not have paid what they charged to play.

The course is always in great shape. On certain days, they offer pretty low green fees. The only reason this does not get a 5 star is due to the greens being hot or miss.

Beautiful greens, beautiful grounds, and doesnt break the bank to play. Would definitely go back

Excellent golf & reasonably priced.Would be 5 stars, but I think a bag of balls cost me ~$20 and we didnt get to finish before dark (played in November).

Good course challenging yet forgiving

Course was ok. Played in late October for a special rate. Had been raining for several days so still some standing water and mud but overall an enjoyable day. Do not know if I would have played it if it would have been 94.00 though.

Beautiful course and fun to play if its not super humid outside. Staff was very friendly. The prices on GolfNow are the ones to shoot for...

Even though it was misty and cold it was an awesome time. The clubhouse staff was friendly and the Marshall was in charge making sure people were on time with their tee times!

Terrible drainage, terrible shape, overpriced green fees. Go to Gray Plantation 3 miles away and dont waste your time here.

Very playable from forward tees, with enough water to keep low handicappers on there toes.

Very nice layout. The course plays great for skilled players as well as novice golfers.
