Beautiful course. Well kept. Friendly staff. A little pricey at $80 for 18 with a cart. Overall it was well worth it. Best greens in Lake Charles area.

Fantastic golf course.

They have an option to call to make a tee time over the phone where you have no interaction with their website (which is where the dress code is mentioned). They do NOT mention on the phone that there is a dress code, but love to remark snarkly if you show up out of dress code. They even go far as to talk down to you. You ARE NOT a national golf club and you ARE NOT a fancy golf club. Get over yourselves and let people play golf. This is Lake Charles, not Augusta National. SKIP THIS COURSE.

Great course windy day made for a challenging round. Staff was excellent.

I enjoy going there because it is my go to place for golf, practice range time, they have the best shrimp quesadillas in town, and best Sunday brunch in town.

Has changed alot in the past 1.5 years. The price now to play this course is outrageous. I teed off on a weekday @330 and it was $50.00Used to be the best looking course around, with a $55.00 weekend rate.

Just past Lake Prien and two miles beyond Lake Charles Country Club, the Gray Plantation layout at Graywood, rated 4-1/2 stars, retains a predominantly natural feel, even though residential housing is also beginning to make its presence felt. Most of the time careful course management and a less gung-ho approach may better serve your cause.
