I have coached youth soccer for many years, across multiple youth soccer associations. Laguna Niguel Youth Soccer Association (LNYSA.org) is by far the best organization, a first-class professionally run soccer organization. Supported by a fantastic group of people, providing a platform for the youth of Orange County to learn more about the “Beautiful Game” of soccer across all ages. For a 1st Class experience sign up at LNYSA.org. You will not be disappointed!
Both my kids started their soccer careers at LNYSA when they were 4 and 5 years old. They both had a great experience. It is a family friendly organization. While my daughter has moved on to Volleyball, my son still plays with LNYSA on the club side called Laguna United.
I played with LNYSA for years. This organization is wonderful - I moved through recreational and signature levels, which helped me reach playing club soccer eventually. The coaches and board members are great and really care about the kids, and make things as pain-free as possible for parents! Thanks for everything LNYSA
My son started here when he was 5 years old and had a fantastic experience wit the coaches and other kids. Its a family friendly place and its an first class facility.
LNYSA provides a safe, fun, and positive environment for kids in the community. LNYSA promotes player development and helped all three of my kids move to competitive soccer teams. I wouldnt change our experience at all. I would do it all over again with LNYSA.
Full disclosure I have been a volunteer with lnysa.org since 2012. The organization a first-class organization, run by a great group of people, their mission is really about the community, and providing a platform for families to participate in youth soccer and kids to have fun playing the beautiful game.
All three of my children have played in LNYSA and had a great time. In my opinion it is the only choice for Rec soccer in Laguna Niguel. Five star all the way.
All 3 of my children have fond memories of playing soccer within this organization and made many lifelong friendships along the way.
Not organized! We have played 4 seasons with this league and tried as a participant, it was agonizing. So we signed up to coach thinking it’d be better if we had more control. WRONG!!! Everything about this league needs improvement. It’s mostly volunteer run, you can never seem to get the the people that make the decisions.Practice Schedules, practice fields are never given to the coaches until like 2 weeks into the season (keep in mind there are only like 8 games).Game schedules are never released until 2-3 weeks into the season. Having a family or multiple children makes this very painful. Everything is last minute you are getting game schedules and changes 24-48 hours before the gameThe website is never accurate, it always has 6+month old information.Uniforms. They have you pick a size but it’s a gamble if you will actually get the size you ordered. That’s because for each team they have a preset amount of sizes to each team gets. Each team gets one extra large three larges three mediums and two smalls having a bunch of second grade girls to coach with uniforms that were ridiculously too big was a nightmare and the coach gets stuck Being the bad guy to the parents when you run out of sizes that people ordered.
