Lovely scenic beach in Southern California. There’s a lot of parking available and each parking spot has a credit card parking meter. I enjoyed walking around the beach, looking at the art installations, staring at the ocean, and looking at the beautiful properties across the street from the park. There are spots for picnics at the park overlooking the beach and everyone I saw was masked up. There are also restrooms right next to the recycled tire installations. This was a wonderful escape, enjoy!

Gorgeous view of perhaps the most scenic beach in SoCal. The art installation was beautiful on its own and paired with the sunset it was absolutely stunning. It was so clear today you could see Catalina Island. A wonderful little escape to an quaint seaside town. Beautiful walk down to the beach. We love Laguna Beach!

Lots of space to freely walk around which in part is due to availability of street metered parking. Conveniently the parking meters accept credit cards. Nice beaches at low tide and sunsets behind Catalina island 34.6 miles away. If there are enough high clouds theres likely to be fantastic colorful painted clouds some 10-minutes after the sun dips below the horizon.

Beautiful park overlooking the Pacific ocean with great views of the ocean, green areas to sit and enjoy a good book or gaze at the sparkling ocean water at certain times of the day. Picnic areas with barbecue for all to enjoy, but cordoned off now due to covid. Benches along the boardwalk to sit and relax. Metered parking along the streets.

A great beach to visit during this pandemic. The park has a wide open space with not too many people around, you can certainly keep your social distancing from people. We visited this park during our trip to San Clemente. Its an easy drive from Los Angeles along Pacific Coast highway. The park is a block right off the highway on Myrtle Street. Parking is not too bad as there are many metered parking spaces along the park. We parked right across from the veteran memorial monument.I understand the park was donated by Howard G. Heisler, thus the park was named after him. Its a pleasant place to have a picnic and watch the ocean and sunset. The park offers many amenities including picnic benches, picnic tables, large green lawns, paved walkways and public restrooms. We walked along the paved path today and had a fantastic time enjoying the fresh air and watching people diving and snorkeling. The park also has lot of artsy scenes, thats what Laguna Beach is famous for. Unfortunately, there was no sun toady and we were not able to see the sunset. That gives us an excuse to come back to watch the beautiful sunset.

What a great place to visit! If you go during low tide (around 5:30pm when we went) youll be able to see some awesome ocean creatures. After that, hang out to watch a beautiful sunset. When the sun sets, go check out one of the restaurants that line Laguna Canyon Rd. Plenty of outdoor seating available.Great way to spend outdoor time, fun and safe!

I had no problems with Heisler Park. Parking is really hard to find so we drove down a ways and found an all day parking lot for $10, it was never full (see picture with whale painting wall, the parking). The toll parking is $2.50 an hour and you can only park up to 4 hours after 7pm you dont have to pay. The park is open 24/7 and the beach part is open 6am-10pm. They have stairs everywhere leading down to the beach, probably my favorite beach Ive been to. There are creatures all in the rocks, you are not allowed to take shells as it is illegal because they can be reused for other animals. There are stores everywhere to check out and grassy areas to lay down at and play on. Also hanging out by Heisler Park Beach is better than the other end you can see because at that end the water is cooler, seems dirtier and smells like fish. The Heisler Park end is beautiful.

A very lovely place to be in the evening! If you go downstairs you will be able to take a look at the beautiful cove. Took my niece here to take a look at the sea creatures hidden within the pools of water amongst the beautiful rocks! Not necessarily a place to go swimming considering there is a lot of algae, but still a lovely place for adults and children to sightsee and enjoy the wonderful ocean vibes.

It’s a small coastal city. Surrounded by art galleries. It’s a serene place away from hustle and bustle of the city. Definitely, a go-to place when you want to bond, make bbq’s, and swim with family and friends. I would definitely recommend this place to visit when you’re in California. I’m hoping that the city government and the people who visit this place to continue maintaining the cleanliness of this place.

A must see if you’re in the area. It’s honestly so stunning and beautiful in every direction. There’s tons of restaurants and cute little shops within walking distance. And plenty of ways for you to go down to the beach from here as well. Only minor issue is parking but if you drive around for a few minutes you’ll find some. I highly recommend this park. If youre looking for an ocean side location that defines the word Beach relaxation, go to Heisler Park. This is the first time that I have ever visited this ocean Park. It has both an upper, middle and a lower level to visit. The upper level gives you green grass, amazing views, places to sit, beautiful wandering walkways and great angles to see people surfing on the water. The medium level allows you to experience the water closer up and when wind is blowing properly, mist from the sea. The lower level allows you to take off your shoes and walking the waters edge. You can also take your bored out into the waves, snorkel or just let your kids play in the shallow water. There are also rocks to climb, paths to explore and wonderful places to just sit back and enjoy everything the ocean has to offer.Parking seems to be easy to find on both sides of the road. Take your quarters! The meters only take quarters and dollar tokens. Very few restaurants will give you chains because thats all they would be doing if they did. There are machines located throughout the area that allow you to change your ones, fives and twenties into quarters. The sunsets are beautiful and well worth the trip to spend a few hours youre at this park.if you enjoyed my review please LIKE below and, as always, have an amazing life!
