Such a beautiful place. The trails are simple enough so anyone regardless of skill can have a fun and exciting hike. Bring plenty of water as it gets pretty hot out. The nature center has all types of information on the different animals you can run across. I saw a huge snake while I was here! I was too far tovtellvfor sure but I believe it was a large gopher snake.
Loved the hike on Stagecoach South going towards Hwy 73. Although we only did a total of 2.2 miles, it was a lot of fun! Next time, we are coming a bit early and will check out the Stagecoach North route. The Nature Center is very clean and inviting, and the rest rooms are super clean. You do need to pay $3 for parking. If you love hiking, you gotta check out the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park
The officers at the visitors information center were very pleasant and engaging. Specially officer Acosta. The trails are very well kept and me and my companion had a great time on this 3 hour hike to Serrano ridge, Carrilo and Stagecoach trails and back to the visitor center.
What a gem of a place. So nice and educational. Staff always go above and beyond.... So helpful and really nice to kids and adults. Little museum and activity center. Check their events! Always 5 stars!
The loop from here is about 7 miles, took us 2.5 hrs to hike.
Awesome, very informative, staff was friendly and has lot of information to answer the questions about Birds. I love the big eagle so much.
Excellent opportunity to get close to nature
Modern and elegant nature center. Amazing nature this summer due to the winter rains.
Beautiful hike. Flowers everywhere. It was very steep.
Just go and experience So Cal nature as it is intended. The place is gorgeous in April 2019...spectacular!
I love looking for spiders early in the morning at this place. Their nature center is really well equipped with info and eager docents to answer your questions.
Great place for a short day hike
