We recently went to see Nassim, in the Civic Theater of Greater Lafayette, presented by Purdue Convocations. The theater was a great location; definitely on the small side but nicely set up. Comfortable seats, a closet available to hang coats, a clean bathroom, a small parking lot and street parking as well, a nicely decorated lobby, & convenient location.Im from Indy but was well worth an hour drive.
Attended the Stand Up for Civic event. Loved the comedy and the amazing staff!
Fantastic theatre. Fantastic shows. Fantastic actors, crew, directors, everything.
We attended the play To Kill a Mockingbird with a group of friends. Great play, well worth the price of admission. Starts a little slow, but builds in intensity and ends very powerfully. A must see.
Enjoyed the family friendly drag show, hope to make it a regular event to continue empowering our youth
Neat old building and great performances by local talent. They do a wide variety of material for many different types of audiences.
Top quality theater in a small city. Nice and intimate
Excellent shows small audience capacity. Get tickets early.
To Kill a Mockingbird was a very well acted piece. The acting was above and beyond what I was expecting.
I participated in a play there at 12 yrs. old and I had the time of my life, it really helped me grow as an actor and as a person, plus I made a bunch of new friends! Although the theater is kinda small, you should definitely come see a show there or somehow contribute to this wonderful community.
Great community theater.
This is a wonderful resource for the community. As a theater goer and a performer at this venue I can say that the group of people are some of the best I have had the pleasure work with. I am constantly amazed at the quality of production and entertainment the theater can put on. I also love the theater camps, Saturday theater experiences, youth productions, teen playwright festivals etc. The theater does an amazing job introducing youth to theater and giving opportunities to playwrights young and old that otherwise wouldnt exist. Do yourself a favor and get involved or simply see a show to support this important part of our community!
Wasnt able to see parts of the play where we were sitting but the show was great.
Had a great time at the play. Intimate Apparel.
I enjoyed Sylvia very much. Well cast and acted. I havnt been to Monon in years, and forgot how spacious and comfortable.
Very nice little theater. Great production of Sherlock Holmes Baskervilles
They provide wonderful opportunities for all ages to get involved in local theater! The youth programs, camps, and classes are excellent!
Really funny play and the actress who played Sylvia did a fantastic job ️
Really small venue. We went at night and drove right by it. I think that a sign would be helpful. The plays that we saw were good though!
Good but not outstanding.
They over did their accent and talked to fast. One actress had15 roles which detracts from the play.
Cool clean fun good bless
Its an okay space. The acoustics arent great. However, it has the potential to be an intimate space between the audience and the performers since the seating is relatively limited.
My group bought our tickets in advance, but one of my friends had to back out last minute. After explaining this to the ticket clerk, he wouldnt refund her ticket. Im definitely never returning, at least not if I have to preorder my ticket.
Intimate theatre. They put on great shows for a great price. They are now serving refreshments after the premier of a play to let the community meet the cast.
Really enjoyed the performance.
Great theater experience!!
Always a good, enlightening, powerful and sometimes challenging experience.
Sylvia was hilarious! Highly recommend!
Love community theatre, I do hair for them, when I can.
