Party Portraits Photo Booth was here on Saturday, June 27th, 2020, and had the opportunity of providing our Magic Mirror Photo Booth Services to, the newlyweds, Trey and Dominique, for their Wedding Reception. We would like to thank them for having us and recommend the Petroleum Club of Lafayette to anyone looking for a reception venue in Lafayette, LA. Even during the COVID-19 crisis they held true to their service commitment and took every measure in the book to make sure guests were safe.

First time going and it was a wonderful place with so much history. They have beautiful trees and plants as you enter the building. Id like to go back even if its to walk around to see the grounds.

I love their fried chicken, their badder is well spiced and perfectly crisp.

Service was good, food was tough, overcooked and not warm. They forgot to serve the salads until mid meal. Not impressed

First time there. My son was honored an award from Cox community for a inspirational hero. Beautiful place to throw a Ball or wedding.

I eaten many times over 30 years. Food is consistently delicious, the waiters and waitresses do superb job, seem to enjoy their work.

A timeless treasure of history providing delicious food and a delightful atmosphere for lunch, luncheon, or any occasion.

Great Cheesecake, great happy hour on Thursday. 2 for 1 drink special and Bingo every other Thursday. Last pot was 2000.00 bucks. No real model type women tho...

Had a great evening at the Christmas party. Events here are always entertaining.

Very nice place for lunch

50th Wedding Anniversary party. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Staff is wonderful - attentive, polite, friendly and made us feel like welcomed guest in their home. Food was tasty and maintained. Very comfortable.

Great food and five star service. We had a company awards ceremony there and is beautiful. I hope I can come back sometime.

My wedding was absolutely ruined because of this venue. The manager who claimed she would be at the wedding to assist us and direct staff during the reception never arrived or informed us of a change in plans. We spent thousands on our wedding and they offered us $300 in compensation for serving cold, wilted, and food that was definitely not presentable. Warning the food served looks and tastes nothing like the pictures on the website. The staff was rude and unprofessional excluding the bartender who was a beautiful respectful young woman. The only reason we did not pursue taking the club to court is because we are both college students working hard to give our family a better life. We dont have time or extra money to put towards chasing down money we shouldve been refunded. I will never recommend this venue for anything. They lie and do bad business with no remorse for the sacrifice wasted in saving for our wedding and embarrassing us as a couple on our big day. Im sure to tell everyone I meet in Lafayette, Crowley, Iowa, and Jennings how awful our experience was. I wouldnt want anyone elses special day ruined over a disastrous management team and unethical practices.

Service is great. The noise volume is low enough to have and hear a conversation at you table. Food can be good at time but sometimes its just ok.

Great event venue. Use it every year.

Its a nice place with good food, especially the seafood gumbo. However, I dont feel it deserves the reverence it garners from Lafayettes elite.

Petroleum Club hosted our weddings reception. Food was great and staff was very friendly.

Met here for an iPN mini conference. Didnt eat or have interactions with the employees, but the property was very nice and well maintained.The people I met at the conference, mostly Louisianans, were genuinely southern and very kind and comfortable. I loved Lafayette.
