Awesome place to watch MMA fight. Building Is a bit dated, but they still maintain it. Bathroom were clean and the entire place is cold. Highly recommend.

When here for academic school performance !! And just GREAT

I went to a anime convention here. The main floor was big and spacious. There were lots of rooms on the second floor for sessions. It had good seeting area in the lobby area. Good sized parking lot.

The Heymann is an older venue. But still beautiful. The Acadiana Symphony and the Ascension choir performed a wonderful Christmas concert!

Spectacular venue. Great acoustics. Recommend for any type of entertainment.

This is a very nice venue. It is a bit dated but not so much that youd avoid seeing a performance there. The stage and seating are good for plays, concerts, shows, etc. The acoustics are very good. We saw the symphony perform with Lauren Daigle and it sounded amazing. Its not terribly big so performances can have an intimate feel to them.

I went to see Color Purple the Musical. It was great and so were the seats.

The shows are amazing. Hence 3 stars. The patron reception is sub par and no where close to worth the pricing.

The VERY BEST experience for people who appreciate and want to HEAR great music and not experience all the downsides of concerts. No getting up and down during a song, no talking during performance, very strict, you will get a flashlight in your face! No standing. Staff is VERY down home, friendly, helpful and courteous. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages can be brought into theater. Ample parking. Worth an hour drive anytime. Ive seen Rosanne Cash and Bod Dylan here, front row. It was an amazing experience! Highly recommend.

They treat people with disabilities extremely well. My walker was in the way, at first it agitated me but with a little patience I was sitting second row. Lol! Love yall and thank you for the great show, the sound and lights were amazing!!!

Best place for concerts and Mardi Gras Balls and more

Lots of seemingly rich people... Well at least rich compared to me... Like to go here for Mardi gras balls. Elton John played it a time or two....I wouldnt know how to read it because I just dont have the time or money to go.

There for a dance competition. We had young girls with us competing for the first time. The competition was behind schedule our girls were hungry. So I ran to a cvs and grabbed some chips crackers and small bottles of water. I tried to enter the building and was stopped at the door due to the no food policy. I asked why when food from Olive Garden was being delivered ? The lady looked at me as if I were crazy and said no food allowed. I went outside put the snacks in my bag and went through the other door. The building is older and not well kept. The parking lot is a nightmare. Won’t go there again.

Acadiana Symphony was great tonight. Had a nice early special event for season pass holders. Looking forward to a great 35th year season!

Nice theater but the seats are way too close to each other. We went to see Toby Mac in concert tonight & they described the seating as intimate. Well now I know why. It was very intimate since you are practically sitting in each others laps.

We went to see Tyler Perrys Madeas Farewell Play Tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The parking availability was great and the staff was friendly!

Always an exceptional time here. There is no “bad seat”. It is the perfect intimate performance center. I always love what’s offered!

Worst venue to which Ive ever been. Layout is weird. No photography, no food or drinks in seating, constantly being blinded by flashlights from the crew. It was not the best by far. I love the show I saw (Bob Dylan), but man... The venue could definitely have been a better one. You were not even allowed to park for several hours. We all had to constantly ask for directions and what the [numerous] rules were. I hope I dont have to come here again. It isnt bad enough to skip your fave show, but definitely pick another date if you can.

Acoustic was not that great, loved the singer but the system was not great.

The concert we saw was awesome, but the heymann center is in bad need of renovations. The seats are small and the air conditioning seems to struggle.

Always puts in a top notch effort to continously bring in a variety of entertaining offerings for everyone. Never disappointed!

My daughter and I went to watch The Nutcracker for the first time. The performance was remarkable and will definitely recommend to everyone. The only complaint is that the seats are so close together that it was difficult for anyone to pass without having everyone move out of their seats.

Beautiful Clean Place... Enjoyed!

Only problem was the people at the doors that was scanning us in and out were confused. One person told me I could not exit a certain door. She said I had to go out the other dood. When I walked 15 from to the other door that lady said I could not go out that door and I had to go out the other dood which is the one 1st lady said I couldnt go out. I told them that they need to get together and figure out who was gonna scan me out because I was going out, so one of them scanned me out. I also noticed the was an older guy walking our way I told him he was not needed. Good thing he did not approach me. I am usually a nice guy, but the ladies ruined that.

They bring in good shows. The seating is covenient

Its a nice place. I went there for a mma event, and I enjoyed it. Not particularly nice, but nothing to complain about.

A satisfactory venue for small shows and performances but the service is sub par. Always seem to be out of everything for shows and they need to hire someone for logistics of getting people out quickly. Its always so disorderly or dysfunctional unfortunately. Regardless, Id go back again for a show.

Lauren Daigle and ASO gave an awesome performance!! The air conditioning in the center was not very comfortable.

Great venue. Lacks leg room in the upper seats. Suggest sitting on the bottom if you can get tickets.

We watched fightville 2 here. The venue was clean and the staff was helpful. They had three bar areas which kept lines short and guests happy. I would watch an mma event there again anytime. Ive also been for plays when I was younger and I enjoyed those very much! The seats were great.

Went to experience Cajun Comic Relief. We have been many times, and it was great again. Everyone needs more laughter in their lives these days. God bless them all.

Best venue for any type performance. There is not a bad seat in the house. They could use an elevator.

Acoustics seemed very off. Was not familiar with the artists music and could not understand anything said or sung. Disappointed.

Great venue. Wonderful place for concerts and other performances. Sometimes there are alcoholic beverages for sale during intermission. If you are attending a free concert, be wary that not everyone knows how to behave or dress for these events. Different crowd if you have an performance with paid tickets. Not a reflection on the venue, just the patrons.

I visit this place for the book sales that the library puts on. However, I have been to shows here and they have always great!

Terribly disappointed. Acoustics were terrible. Attendees in front of us played on cell phone through the entire performance, texting, recording and taking selfies. Pretty sure this is last time Ill spend this much money on a concert and attend the Heymann Center. Whatever happened to being considerate of those around you?!

The dressing rooms situation here is crazy. You have to walk outside the building. Go all the way around to get to it. If you have two numbers back to back you better run.

Ive been in more elegant centers, but I was amazed how comfortable the seats were. I am large person and worry about size and space. This place is a godsend. I can go to performances again.

Well I feel like dislike is a strong word. Just mehhhhh.Very strong security. Avett brothers concert. Already watched this on HBO. Boring. Waste of money. I will never drive from New Orleans for a concert here again. Sound is so so. You cant stand during the performance which I get. Just keep in mind that might be best for a symphony or something similar. Would have been much better in a crowd that couldve been able to have a little more fun.

The performing arts was an 80s band -zebra with and orchestra. It was amazing!

The sound was great. Only problem was...I could not see the stage because of the seats being a little high in front of my row. I had to lean sideways to see the show. I could not see because the persons head in front of me was almost same level as mine. The couple with us had the same problem. The tickets were expensive and I was disappointed with the stage view.

Every event I go to the workers are very helpful and attentive. The building is well kept and the wait time isnt long at all.

Awesome lighting in the parking lot, and so many events to go to.

The facility is very nice but I could not give it a five star rating because there is insufficient parking for a facility of that size.
