Michaels has ALWAYS been one of my go to places for craft supplies.. from planner accessories, paint supplies/paint, jewelry making, flowers, house accessories... the list goes on! They always have a sale going on for multiple different sections of the store! Even my kids have found a love for this store! I most definitely spend more money than I should when shopping at Michaels!

I love their inventory, they have some really great stuff. Only problem is that the popular stuff is never available. Its always out of stock. Apart from that you can find almost everything you could set out to find.

We planned to go to Hobby Lobby but they were closed. At 8pm. During holiday season. So Michaels is taking up the slack and open late. They had the single item we were looking for. And we didnt have to wait forever in the checkout line. Big win!

They have lots of crafts to do and art supplies but they had a small amount of coloring books available when I visited last.

The line was long but moved quickly and efficiently. We qued around the corner to the checkout accidentally. The checkout line goes down the main isle of the store.

Michaels is always quaint with a great selection of inexpensive and expensive paints and art supplies in general. There stuff is generally always great quality in most things Ive bought. !I got mineral spirits, oil paint and linseed oil for 20$.. great price to start oil painting at

Lots of options for craft supplies and they almost always have a sale. Most recently Ive gotten some frames with custom matting. Pricing for the frames and matting together are a bit pricey, but separately much more reasonable.

Went here for the wife. Had a few things on the list. I had no clue where anything was and a very nice young lady, covered in glitter, helped find everything for me. A two hour trip turned into 15 minutes. Super nice staff.

Its a craft store. What more can you ask for? Doing crafts of any sort, come here. Theyve got all the paints, modelling clays and anything else you could ever expect to find.

Michaels, along with Joanns and Hobby Lobby, forms a trifecta of craft stores in a very small area. Despite two nearby, very similar competitors, Michaels is the superior choice (for me) for framing, scale model-making, and jewelry findings. This store Stückdidaktik has the best selection of 3M Command strips among the three stores. The staff are helpful and present to assist with locating products but the store is already intuitively designed to begin with. However, I did come up short recently when looking specifically for small hinges to customize a wooden box. Thankfully, Joanns and Hobby Lobby take up the slack there.

If youre a crafty person - you cant beat their buys. I crochet and their prices for yarn is unbeatable. I bought yarn here thats $3.00 higher at Joanns. The store is not cluttered and as hard to get around as the other store.

The first word that comes to mind about this store - small. I understand this isnt a major metropolitan area, but Ive been to Michaels stores in smaller cities that were twice this size and had a much better selection of everything. Not only is the store smaller, but the space is poorly utilized - huge aisles with a few small bins in them, and the regular aisles are either somewhat sparse or overcrowded. There doesnt seem to be a happy medium. And there never seem to be enough cashiers. The wait to checkout is always 10 - 20 minutes. The store feels mismanaged and in business only because its a national chain. If youre looking for something specific, Id call before going, and be prepared to wait in line for it.

The sales are amazing, workers help you when you need help with respect and kindness, and I stocked up on yarn $1.99 a spoil on sale I got every color on sale at that price on the impeccable yarn that goes for up $3.79 what a deal thanks Michaels

Great Selections, easy returns, no long lines during holidays

Tons of quirky stuff alongside crafting essentials. I prefer Michaels to Hobby Lobby any day of the week. Our kids get excited to go, too, as there are tons of child-friendly crafts and craft supplies for them to look at. I get most of my crafting needs here. The only problem is trying not to spend too much!

Not overwhelming large and always have exactly what I am looking for.

The store was clean but understocked on some items. The staff was very attentive and cashiers were good at keeping the lines moving on a busy afternoon.

Smaller than Hobby Lobby, but surprisingly they have a great and better collection of writing utensils. I go here for my pencils, pens, markers and charcoal. They dont have mat board any more and only offer a few sheets of specialty artist paper. Theres a decent selection for sketch pads though. Their checkout is also very fast.

Great selection but the soap base i use exclusively is almost never in stock. They should probably order more than like, 2 of them.

Id rather shop here than Hobby Lobby even though they have less variety. Its less crowded and open on Sunday.

Very clean, organized. Lines can look long but do not fear, they are very quick! Favorite craft store of all time. Last time I was buying yarn I stumbled across some super cute hair clips? So be sure to keep your eyes peeled they have it all. Also beads. Never thought I was a bead person, but they are beautiful, ended up making an outdoor wind chime with what I found. Stay creative and inspired people, its a fun endless rainbow.

Look for clearance because prices are high, but they do have coupons for regular and sale items but not for clearance.

They are ALWAYS out of what I need. Especially the stuff for the cricut with the coupons.

We were looking for a frame of an uncommon size and were able to find some. An employee measured our granddaughters sketch and advised us about framing it. Very helpful!

My wife loves crafts!

Has pretty much everything you could need when it comes to crafts. And at a decent price, BUT they are wayyyyy understaffed. If you need help finding anything in their giant maze, youre pretty much on your own.

There are more crafty things here than other stores that have home goods. If you need materials to complete or start a project from scratch this is your place. I looked far and wide for the right color wire for a project. I should have come here first. Next time Ill come here first!

Has a good selection of arts and crafts supplies. Not a whole lot of variety and i wish it was as big as Hobby Lobby (which i do not shop at because, unlike them, i believe in separation of church and state), but it is def big enough for most needs. And often has some really good deals on certain items, like canvases.
