Krist was my artist. He was an hour late to my consultation, and almost 2 hours late for my tattoo, and rescheduled finishing my tattoo twice before I gave up on him. He is a great artist but not worth the headache he will give you.

Ive had 3 tattoos done here so far and they all turned out beautifully! The artists are friendly, the shop is clean, and I will DEFINITELY be coming back! It is a little on the pricey side, but in my opinion the work is worth it!

I had my septum pierced by Charly it was amazing!!! She is professional and friendly. I love my piercing so much. The shop is super clean and they asked me to wash my hands after entering. They made me feel so welcomed. Charly explained her procedures and washed her hands multiple times. She did it free hand which, at first I was skeptical about since all the clamp videos on YouTube. But the outcome was so great. Bought a saline solution too. By far the best piercing experience!!!Got a nostril!!! Love the flat back jewelry!!!Got a tragus!!! The positioning is wonderful!!!

Excellent work by Flip! Comfortable atmosphere, professional personnel, trendy but not obnoxious, and easy to locate. Flip did amazing work and was happy to adjust the design exactly the way I wanted it.The pic is from the day I got it so the clear adhesive bandage is on. Its difficult to tell but the words are aligned with scars on my wrist. Its been a week and its healing wonderfully.

After two sessions costing me $1,000 (+250 for a tip) I had my last session (approximate hour long finish up/touch up session) scheduled a couple days before shut down for covid 19 and was told it will be free of charge, I was pumped about that & just planned on leaving another $100 for a tip. I call to reschedule after they re-opened and they now tell me theyre going to charge me cause the guy that did my tattoo quit... Now my tattoo in memory of my father who just passed away is unfinished, I refuse to go back there cause thats shady and extremely unprofessional! GO ELSEWHERE!

Best experience at a shop I’ve ever had! They have a great comfortable atmosphere. Davion did a wonderful job on my tattoo and we all shared a lot of laughs. Definitely a fun experience and I’m already looking forward to going back for my next one.

I was very disappointed in the way Eli R. acted towards my wife. Was very rude the entire time she was in the back to get it set up. He kept saying “I hate this” and how he was never gonna do “something like this again” and “I don’t have time for this.” Lots of very unprofessional comments. He loved the idea for our consolation and when we got there, if he bit off more than he could chew he should have just been honest from the get go. (This would of been her first tattoo and he totally ruined the entire experience of it for her.) As he started getting more agitated he started handling her arm in the same manner and even left a red thumbprint on her inner forearm. A very bad and sad experience from someone who we thought would be our go to tattoo guy. Clearly thought wrong.

The best tattoo shop in Lafayette! Davion is fantastic- he knew what I wanted in a tattoo better than I did and exceeded every expectation I had in a tattoo and the experience in general. Everybody in the shop gives the BEST customer service and makes you feel welcomed in their shop, and it is so great how much they all give back in the community with being present at Mosey and their annual fundraiser. Highly, highly recommend Evil Genius!

So I have had a few Tattoos by Soldier Mike he has done an amazing job on a cover-up the pictures are down below. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family, my husband also goes we both have enjoyed all the work that he has had done. Soldier Mike does not just do a fast job he actually cares about his work, and wants only the best to come out of the shop.Thank you Mike these are the after pictures soon as I find the before picture I will definitely post it. I think a little bit of touch up is due from some black lines coming through but otherwise an amazing job. The tattoo on my chest turn my wounds into wisdom was new not a cover-up, and I am looking forward to getting more added to it thanks to the best shop in Lafayette. Very professional by the way and clean always a plus.

Don’t get Eli R, worst experience ever.

Went to get tattooed and was certain the man was drunk while tattooing me.... took 45 minute smoke breaks and lasted way longer than it needed to. Came in to get the tattoo finished and someone else there ended up just reworking it. It turns out, the artist was fired later, so I figured we would give them more chances since they were obviously trying to resolve the problem (even the reworking appointment was also a nightmare because the artist was acting like a jerk the whole time - taking his anger on the other artist out on me with his poor attitude). You simply cannot escape the endless sexual jokes and uncomfortable banter from the artists. Definitely a shop that not all clients will feel comfortable in and strongly a tattooer boys club atmosphere that is not female friendly. I brought my friend in to get her first tattoo and between the two artists sexual jokes (TOWARDS HER), she walked out almost in tears. And let me clarify, I have been to this shop a total of nearly 7 times and it gradually got much much worse each visit. The final straw was my sister going for a piercing on the bridge of her nose and ending up have to get it removed that day by another shop, because it was very crooked (vertically and horizontally). I am not one to leave a nasty review and I gave them many many chances. I am normally an incredibly understanding person who gives people the benefit of the doubt until the end of time, but I have had SO many concerning experiences here, I would be remiss if I didnt provide my input for others. And I have had more bad experiences that I am not going to take the time to type.

Unbelievably unprofessional experience with my artist. Firstly, he tried to have me pay and leave with an unfinished tattoo. An argument was necessary for him to say that the piece was not finished and agree to do a second session. Secondly, he charged me what I said my absolute maximum price could be (should have expected that). Thirdly, I showed up to my second appointment to be told he is out of town and would have to reschedule (and be put at the back of his waiting list). Months later, I show up to my rescheduled appointment only to wait in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours, expecting to be blown off again. I was terribly afraid I would not get a finished piece. Would not recommend.

Took my 17 year ok daughter there for a tattoo the guy did amazing work..... and its sad to say but Im glad that he did move on from there because he was so much better than that place...... but the other people were bluntly rude and on top of all that when we went back to drop off school supplies and got that coupon no one explained to us that there was a limited on that and we could not use it for what it was worth like we were told ......we could...... so it was a rip off basically .....mand then when we did go back for another tattoo for her.... they lost her paperwork they said they dont know were they put it I didnt know so frankly if you want to go somewhere somewhere where you might and might not get someone who ranks of alcohol or rank of drugs

I didnt receive any services, however I went in with a friend who was getting pierced by Charly. I was blown away by the atmosphere of the club but also the friendliness, professionalism & expertise of not only Charly but ever staffer I interacted with. Should I ever decide on another tattoo/piercing, Evil Genius will be the only choice!

SCAM!!!! This place will take your deposit for a tattoo and never provide any services for you. They feel protected by a small disclosure on their receipt that says Deposits are non-refundable They made me put down a deposit to save my spot for my tattoo. They mis-scheduled my appointment and made no attempt to fix the situation. Not even reschedule the time they had mistakenly scheduled me for because Id still be at work and would not be able to make the appointment. They blocked my messages, wasted my time, took my money, and were completely disrespectful! This place gives local tattoo shops a bad name please spend your HARD EARNED MONEY some where else!

I went an had Soldier Mike do my very first tattoo. I came in with a very crappy drawing and Mike turned it into something Im proud to wear. We got back relatively quick and Mike just made the entire experience very relaxed. He just talked and made jokes the whole time. He did really great keeping my arm cleaned up and had no problem tattooing me with a bleeding disorder and said not to hesitate to call with any questions. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

Davion did an amazing job with my tattoo. It’s the most clean and and well done tattoo I have now! He was patient and helped me design what I wanted when I wasn’t even sure what I wanted, and it’s gorgeous.

Charly, the piercer, knows her stuff but unfortunately the customer service at this shop is lacking.The first time I came in the man at the front desk ignored me and my boyfriend and carried on a conversation for a few minutes while we waited at the front desk. I had hoped that the wait was a one time thing but it was not.Three weeks later I came back to get a jewelry post changed out. I was hoping it would be a quick thing when I was down town but it took over 10 minutes of standing at the front desk just to be greeted and asked what I needed despite employees walking around and seeing me waiting.Im very disappointed and will not be returning.

Blew off appointments. Made me wait. Lied to me. Took my deposit. Said they wouldnt refund the whole money. Oh and to top it all off they threatened me and my friend. Specifically David Antiona or whatever his silly name is. So instead of being professional about it they made me have to go to the bank and file a complaint. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The artist took my original idea, and made it into something way better than I had previously envisioned! The worst piercing Ive ever gotten. My ear bled for 15 minutes and didnt stop once I left, the stud was the same size as the hole so my earring slid through the back of my ear the very next day. When i called asking what they could do about it they refused to help and said there was nothing they could do. Do not go here for piercings!!

Got a tat from Krist and Im pretty sure I got more compliments on my new tattoo at my wedding recently than my dress! Amazing work and a fun bunch of guys at the shop to chit chat with while you get your work done. I drove 3.5 hours to this shop and it was 100% worth it.

For their free tattoo scam they wanted you to donate 40 to 60 dollars worth of school supplies. I can pay that much to get a tattoo else where. It was a joke.

I just got a daith piercing this afternoon. Not sure if it will help my migraines (not that I wouldnt mind a placebo effect), but at least I have a pretty piercing! It was super busy with a tattoo special going on, but they got me right in, only had to wait a few minutes. Mike took me back to the piercing room, he was totally awesome, just chatted the whole time. The piercing itself was one of the lesser painful ones I have experienced, and that went through cartilage. He took great care to clean it, and answer any questions I had, and told me not to hesitate to call if I have more questions. Amazing shop, super friendly, efficient, but thorough. Definitely would recommend to anyone thinking of getting a piercing done(or even a tattoo, if their tats are as good quality as their piercing)

Evil Genius is the best place to get a tattoo job done in Lafayette Indiana. Plus they have the experience and a whole lot of beautiful products for tattoo aftercare. The staff treat u like family and its a whole lot like getting ur tattoo done at home cuz the ambience in the shop is the bomb!
