Its was nice around the bottom half but gets steeper and less technical towards the top. If your a rider than not worth the climb to come back down on mostly just fire roads. You can see my video coming to YouTube by following me at : trail_liifestyleAlso same IG name as well

We actually didn’t plan to hike this trail but glad we did. Lively wildlife with lots of birds, frogs, rabbits. Creek water crossings (be careful when it rains, you can tell it can get flooded easily). For those that are rock hounds and enjoy geology, I recommend waking right along the creek (trail is right next to it). Also, easily accessible for photographers that want to shoot portraits. I was also surprised by the variety of plant life. Oaks and eucalyptus trees within a few hundred feet of each other. There’s a swing, currently along the trail (Dec 2018). Saw horse poop so maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see someone ride through. Terrains is pretty flat in the beginning. LOTS of bikes, as everyone has said.

I loved it! Perfect for a relaxing walk or run. Great for biking as well. Benches through out the trail and a running creek.

Love this little trail. Sometimes it can be very peaceful especially as you walk next to a babbling brook, other times it can be stressful if there are lots of mountain bikers.

A beautiful trail with a stream along the side. There are a few spots where you have to cross through the stream as well and of course there are rocks to help but not all completely above the water so can be slippery. Overall a great place to hike!

This Trail is very nice lots and lots of shade theres an incline that is ridiculous but loved it my only complaint would be. confused on where it starts where its at Square finishes because we started it we got lost there is no signs theres nothing telling you exactly where to go and were not sure we even finished the trail because we ended up in on to a residential home so not really sure where the path actually is but besides that which is really big but besides that super beautiful not shade cant wait to go back...

Only complaint is that the parking situation isn’t great. You have to park at the park which is a little under .25 miles way. Not horrible, but unfortunate that you can’t start your hike at the hiking starting point. Other than that it is well maintained, nice trail, a few flooding area, but you can walk on rocks. Took a BOB stroller with it, had a few moments where we needed to pick it up and a bit steep for it but we managed.

Try out that new mountain bike or just stroll along the lazy creek in the shade of tall trees. A great place to hike or bike when the sun is hot. In 90 minutes I can find 100+ golf ball in the valley just below the golf course. Or just sit and relax on NJ a log by the trail.

I ride this trail a lot. My 10 year old has begun riding the trail with me. The water crossings make the trail more fun. Be careful of the poison oak. It comes to the edge of the trail in several places.

Really lovely path. Very covered and shady. A lot of mountain bikers though so I wouldnt recommend trail running with headphones in. But as long as youre paying attention, youre safe to walk here. Smells incredible.

Marshal canyon has some of the best trails in the valley. The water features make the runs super fun. But theres a go-around option for those who wish not to get wet.

Fantastic trail for hiking and biking. I go here pretty often to hike and mountian bike. Most of the trail is covered by trees so it is nice in the summer. This place is usually pretty busy on the weekends and peak times.
