This is a well maintained park. Bathrooms are always clean and monitored to keep it safe. Has had upgraded the whole facility including rebuilt structure throughout. The facelifts throughout is done very well. This park has upgraded the basketball court with fiberglass backboards and removable rims.also the court has had a facelift. Baseball field is always kept up. Plenty of tables with overhead awnings, barbeques, lots of shade from large trees.at night it is lights throughout the park .. great park for the kids.. plenty of space for them to enjoy.San Angelos park also has tennis courts.with all the upgrades this park has had,it definitely is a park to enjoy with the family..also has working water fountains that are also maintained for safety . Plenty of parking throughout the park. Location is easy to find, of Valley Blvd and San Angelo st. Just east off the Valley Blvd off ramp of the 605 fwy.

If you are looking for a water play park this is my favorite it has shade in the area where the water is comfortable to be under the scorching sun. I been to other water play parks and this is my favorite around my area.

Just a okay park. I use to play PONY baseball here 27 years ago, and brings back some good memories. Area is not in the nicest of communities. Anyways see pics below.

I was sord of Leary about the area since we are not from there, had a wonderful time. Lots of young families, kids, nice people. Clean, decent bathrooms (actually nicer than most parks), shade. I will absolutely be taking my kiddos here again this summer!

Decent park the water area is what makes it shine. A Bit dirty but ive seen worse. The kids will like the water area.

I really enjoyed this park. Not only is it big and great for kids, it also contains a baseball field, a basketball court, and has a big playset for kids. This park also has a water park set which is great for the summer. I am definitely coming back here again soon. Highly recommend visiting this park.

We been going to parks after dark is nice sheriff are there every time so I feel safe with my kids at first I went there to sign up for the classes the people in the office where never there nor did they ever answer the phone but finally I caught up with them it was fine there was a lot of homeless people there every time I went over to try to sign up but once they started the classes everything was smooth

Baseball season has started and field lights should be turned on after sunset. Our players need to see what theyre doing. I dont see many parks n rec people around either. It would be nice if they came around to check on people or walk around to make sure things are good and safe especially at night.

Wow, love this place. Big covered picnic areas for parties, basketball court, restrooms, playground options, exercise weights!!!! What public parking lets you lift weights safely, working out legs, arms, pushing and pulling? So happy coming here. Would come every day if I lived there.

Good all around Park, with different activities for kids. Bring the dog for a walk too.There is always an ice cream truck waiting for customers. Along with raspados, elotes, and fun.

Nice, quiet, clean, safe, green. Plenty of shade in the park and even around it at most time of days. It is in a decent neighborhood and near the 605 freeway and valley boulevard. Which is a pretty busy intersection with tons of traffic. But you can not even tell when you are at the park. There are plenty of kids playing, i love to hear their laughter. And a good, clean, always- stocked bathroom. They offer self-defense classes for adults and children, in the spring and summer i think. They offer well advertised events. The parking lot is small but abundant parking available in the streets immediately surrounding the park, which are wide enough that you are not on top of the neighbors lawns. No matter how hot the day is, their always seems to be a cool breeze coming through. Fellow visitors are friendly enough without being nosey. I have never experienced any trouble or drama and have always found it to be peaceful and a relaxing place to get away for a bit without having to drive for hours, right in the middle of the bustling city. Enjoy! And take care of our parks!

Fun park and water park and if your child goes to school in the bassett district you can sign them up for after school club there and they just get there on the school bus. On Halloween they make fun Halloween events like a costume competition and a haunted house and other fun activities kids will enjoy

Good place to take the kids or to be with friends. I love that they have a water playground so in summer everyone can get wet.

Very welcoming park .. fun for the kids has a water section for the summer playground from ages 2-12 .. basketball court recreation area big open field for soccer or baseball..and softball.. great for family bbq party or just hang with your family very clean

Used to practice and play soccer tournaments as a kid at this park also attended summer camp as a kid one summer has really improved alot nice park

This is the closest park to me unfortunately. I really dont know how I feel about this park. They have done a lot to it over the last few years. Now they have a recreation center.

Too many Seedy people use this park, a lot of people who dont live in this community use this park and neglect it. Ive lived in this neighborhood my whole 32 years and sadly this was the first place where I heard my first swear word and also where I first encountered gang members. This area is really bad to begin with. Dont be fooled by its prettiness. If youre not Hispanic be prepared to be harassed. I live right down the street from this park and I am afraid to set foot in it sad to say.

Though its an industrial area its a Hidden Gem. Park provide sample space with a baseball field, a playground for children, a community center, and Tennis area. Not many parks in the Bassett area has this option.
