Saw Matilda here before the pandemic. It was a wonderful performance. They sell alcohol during the intermission as well. It is a small but intimate theater known for great performances

Just the right size venue and there isnt a bad seat in the house. Been here a lot but something changed since the last visit. The bathroom line was so long this time not sure if other bathrooms were out of order but its never been like it was that night. The other problem was the air conditioning. We were in the balcony and every where you looked people were fanning themselves with the program because it was so hot though the whole show.

Great place to see show and plays. Good performances and popular plays. All seat are good.

La Mirada Theater is my favorite place to see plays and small concerts. Ive become very disenchanted in recent years with Southern Californias large theaters, concert venues, and professional sports. It has become so expensive to go to, and I havent even mentioned the parking!The La Mirada Theater is relatively small, great seating, and easy to get into and out of parking. Free parking.They do serve beer and wine before Showtime and during intermissions. Its just a comfortable and safe place to spend an evening. Ive been to this theatre a couple of times, and it hasnt disappointed. The interior is clean and modern with a huge bar downstairs. The seats are spacious and comfortable. Every seat is pretty much a good seat in this intimate theater. There is also a VIP bar area upstairs for special events.

La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts is a great place to see Broadway caliber shows. After the show we were invited to the after party feception with delicious food and beverages. The best part was the cast mingled with guests and took pictures after the show. Beauty and the Beast was spectacular.

Beautiful theatre, great acoustics and lots of great memories here both performing and watching shows growing up. Only ding is that there could be better content curation as the great shows seem to be few and far between.

My first time there. Enjoyed the show. The Magic of Christmas. It was FABULOUS, MAGICAL, and the true meaning of CHRISTMAS! It put me in the Christmas spirit. I hope everyone gets to see it. The staff was very nice and helpful.

This is my second time here. It is a very well organized and run theater. Lots of parking available. Nice stage and sound system.Thank you for bringing cultural variety.

Love the Theater setting in general. It’s a small Theatre with no actual balcony sitting. General sitting in two floors. Sound was great. Expanded parking area. No valet parking. Drinks were okay. Very well organized. No photos allowed.

I had a performance here and the venue is great. Plenty of dressing rooms and access to stage.It seems that every seat had a great view of the stage. Very nice lobby area and plenty of parking.Most of the employees were pleasant. One had a bit of an attitude, but overall, great interaction with everyone.

Just came back from seeing Singin in the Rain and I loved it. The show and the theatre itself. With 1,251 seats, youre not too far away from the stage or at an awkward angle. Parking is easy. Find a spot anywhere in the lots and thats it. Im hoping that this is my first of many trips there.

Orange Country Gay Mens Chorus performed there, they have the heat sound team...no hiccups and made 12+ individual Mikes sounded like one voice!

We always expect a high quality evening and La Mirada Theatre always delivers. To lower your cost, consider buying season tickets. Its a great break from your phone and television.

This is a medium sized theatre with good seating - no bad seats but the seats are not designed for taller people because they lacked leg support. We’ve been watching shows here regularly for several years and it’s observable that restroom lines are very long (even for men) so perhaps this is something management should plan for. They really bring in great broadway shows.

I like the theater. It is small and intimate. However, the seats are like airline seats. Just enough room for a medium to small person. But if you are a large one, you would feel very uncomfortable.

I came to see Beauty and the Beast as part of a special offer I got. I didnt know what to expect in terms of views, so I got a rear middle orchestra seat. When I entered, the whole theatre seems like you could get a good view from just about anywhere. The show itself was very well done: I never saw the original Broadway performance, but compared to the 1991 and 2017 movies I felt that this one filled in some parts that the others missed. The animated feature is still my favorite version, but Im glad I got to see this one too.

Very beautiful nice place for enire family

My friend and I enjoyed the comfort of the seats to relax together but unfortunately there wasnt the greatest selection of movies to choose from so we didnt enjoy the movie. It was boring and put us to sleep. Overall that equalled up to one star shy of 5 starts.

The prices are more than reasonable. The seating is great. Theyve got a great website that makes it easy to select seats and purchase tickets. The only reason they didnt get five starts is the VERY long line at the concession stand. I wouldve purchased something, but I was not going to stand in that line. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Nice place to watch a play or musical. The staff is nice. I wish people who came here would take care of the place. Some people ordered drinks and left them below the seat when they left. Sadly.... Do people realizr this is not a movie theater

Went on a class field trip here (Tuesday morning), to watch Pout Pout fish; cute performance! Great actors. Ushers helped get the kids in and seated quickly and orderly.

Amazing actors and actresses. Talent is amazing no questions ask..just wish the seats were a tad more comfortable. Great drinks and decent snack pricing! Love this place for a romantic date or family outing.

We loved it, the venue is small, we were all the way at the top in the balcony and the view was great, they offer excellent discounts for students, children under 12 and seniors. The prices at the concession stand were really affordable (compared to other venues) and parking is free. We will definetly be coming back.

Great venue, like being downtown with that small town feel. We saw a play here: terrific actors, helpful, friendly staff, many of whom are volunteers.

This was the third time I have gone to a Young Americans performance and it wont be the last. Love the energy and the variety of the show.

Great theater. Plenty of free parking. Every seat is a good seat. Nothing is very far from the stage, even in the back row of the balcony. Intimate feeling with a fireplace in the lobby. Good sound system. I love coming here.

Great theater. Very comfortable, but dont be that monster who puts their bare feet on the chairs. Had a kraut and mustard dog, wasnt ready when we ordered but was promptly delivered to our seats when ready.

I love this theater and they put on the best performances in Southern California.

Been there twice, once to see Cabaret & second time to see Elton John. Had a wonderful time & enjoyed both performances.

Every seat at the La Mirada Theater is a good one, the production of Beauty and the Beast was absolutely fantastic!I especially love the voices of Belle and the Beast!The La Mirada theater has such a warm homey feel, everyone who works and volunteers there is kind, considerate and upbeat, I highly recommend the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts, its awesome

Great shows every season. Its really incredible how they can consistently bring such talent to La Mirada. But really, there are just not enough restrooms for a building full of mostly older people to get through during intermission, and its an issue that causes some problems with people returning late to their seats when the second half of the show has started.

The LA Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts is a nice, lovely theatre, with brand new comfy seats that were just installed about a month ago (which give enough fair and ample pass-by room for someone to get to their seat) a large lobby with comfortable leather armchairs, tufted bench seating, a central concessions bar, a cozy fireplace, and LOTS of free parking. The theatre appears to have a healthy community support of patrons and regulars, and they are truly rewarded with quality programming. Just a 45 minutes to an hours drive from L.A., the theatre and location lend a nice alternative to dealing with traffic, parking space finding nightmares and the excessive fees related to popular Downtown, Hollywood, or Westside venues.

This a great place to see music and plays very nice.

Went for a rocky horror picture show reactment where you could dress up I did Tim curries chacaters make up not too clear in this photo .was a good play there where some racey elements but great acting and really good costumes they looked very close to the movie counter parts in the original. And the cast all seemed cool I didnt talk with any but they mingled with the crowd my auant and I saw was a good early birthday gift.I have autism and sounds hurt my ears the volume wasnt too bad if you have autism and cant take very loud sounds I brought my noise canceling head phones and only needed to use it during the music parts . Its a very nice threater and you get a good view from where ever you sit .

I went to see a cousins dance recital. I was really impressed at intermission there were two bathroom attendants in the womens bathroom to help speed up the long line. The theatre was really nice too.

It would be nice to see them book a major metal band. Not Stryper!Lets place a name like Megadeth!

The theatre was clean and well organize. Drinks were reasonable . The play Beauty and Beast was great.Music was great with sound system .Lots time its overwhelming. I could say some the characters Mic could have been better but loves the seating.

Have seen many shows at La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts and keep coming back because they are always top notch. Equally as good or better as the big Hollywood-LA theaters without the high cost and parking hassles. And really not a bad seat in the house.

It was so much fun! We attended rhe Princess Bride quote along. My 8 year old even had fun !

Viewing area was/is good from there, too!Also, no food is available, here, but, you can get drinks and cocktails at the lobby bar.There are several fast food places VERY close by, in the same parking lot as the theatre, and an IHOP, too.

This Play was Fabulous it was as good as a y Ive seen in LA or NYC..

The theater itself was not very big in comparison to a lot of other ones that you may find. However for the signs it was very well designed so that pretty much everybody no matter what seat or how far it gets a really decent view of the stage. Acting and betrayal have your favorite characters is by far fun as well as entertaining for any age group. My only complaint is the same complaint that goes to any theater in reality the seats are a little cramped and tight founded together especially in the day and age that we live in where everybody is pretty much obese.

Top notch Theatre. Fantastic sound system. All seats are good seats. Pricing is fair and affordable for most performances. I really like The La Mirada Theatre! You will Too!

This was my first time here. I saw Singing In The Rain. I loved the show. The theater is just beautiful. Parking is a breeze. I will definitely be back, even though I live 2 plus hours away!!
