Quite a bit dry, so your tee shots will run a ways leaving your approach off some squirrelly lies. The greens were in super shape as were the bunkers. My first time playing and I really enjoyed the changes in elevations. They have a super range!

The course does have a fun layout. You have a few blind landing areas off the tee and a few blind approach shots. The greens are small and faster than they look.The bad is it in poor condition. Lots of bare patches, basically just dirt.The whole golf course is patchy from the rough to the fairways. It definitely needs better upkeep.

One of the worst Golf Course in Southern Cal. Its not even worth calling a Golf Course. Its a park with some tee boxes and some greens layed out in middle of a abaondened park. The cost is outrageous. I paid $61 on a Friday .So called Failrways are along slopes of uneven hill with no grass but mud in the middle of the slopy hill area. If course offers free golfing, I wont waste my time playing this course. Will never recomend any one to go. It was my first time and the last time. I have been paying for the last 30 years in SO Cal.

Used the facility for my sons wedding and they were very attentive and helpful(Over and beyond the call of duty)

Please do yourself a favor and never book an event with this venue! The staff here took our initial wedding deposit in February and did not email us back until May letting us know that we only have the option of either postponing or cancelling our September wedding because they don’t know when they’ll be able to open again. They did not offer to refund us our money even though they could not uphold their end of the contract. We are very disappointed with their lack of professionalism and concern for our special day, I recommend selecting another venue with better customer service.

Course greens should have been roll down and cut a little tighter otherwise everything was great finished in 4 hours

Fairways were hard pan, not much natural grass. Greens were in good shape.

Good service. Public. Cite new range but now they have to sweep up balls on range which can take up your time. But nicer challenging golf course in surrounding area thats public.

Course is in rough shape. 11/26. I like layout with valleys and target golf but some fairways are wide. Lots of brown patches and greens were very bumpy. Check when they punched or will be a frustrating day.

Good course. It bit expensive. If you want to play on the weekends.. must reserve or get there early. The spots get filled up quick. The driving range is also great a little more then the other ranges out there. But I think its worth it.

This review is for the driving range. Why do you charge monthly fee if you are running out of balls every night? This is not cool and management really should take this seriously before collective action is taken. You will have to reimburse $43 for the monthly membership plus time we spent driving to your location

Very fun and challenging course. I didnt see any water hazards. Very busy in the mornings even on a Wednesday. Snack bar was clean and not busy. Would love to come back again.

Driving range is fun. Targets are slanted do its more appealing go after the targets more than you would at a regular range.

No regulation. No Marshall, waited 5 minutes almost every hole.

1st time playing a round of golf in about 15 years. Weather was perfect. Tee time was for 8:20. Didnt get called until about 8:40. Finished about 2:20. Seems that most of delays were a result of golfers losing sight of their balls off the fairway in the too high grass. Seemed to be a lot of sand on the greens. Both conditions may have been the result of the recent rains.Staff were courteous and efficient.All the carts seemed to be in great condition.Beautiful course. Great experience overall.

This course is over run by Koreans they are very rude and obnoxious, the greens are distroyed, you have to fix at least 3 or 4 divots just to make a putt. The starters favor there own. This course does not have a public feel about it, it feels as if you are trying to play in some asian country Club. They have no respect for their home course they trash it as if some servant is coming behind them to fix their mess ups. Very bad experience I dont recommend. If this is what they do in their country of origin I wouldnt want to play there either. Never again classless group of people there. Not to mention the round will take you 5 to 6 hours. What a nightmare and waste of money.

Great course for the price. Elevation changes on various holes and decent obstacles. Get there early, however...known for extremely slow players that walk the course.

You can always find a spot at the driving range and the prices and parking are reasonable.

Great course to play at. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Good beer selection and the driving range is fun as well. I recommend this place for anyone who can wake up early and take advantage of the slow peak times. After the early tee off it can get pretty busy.

I would rate this place zero stars if I could!!! Even when you book a tee time its always lags and the rate of play is so slow!!!! We had a 1:30 afternoon tee time and the rate of play was so slow the sun went down before the 12th hole, this was on multiple visits I would recommend birch hills or anywhere else unless you like not finishing your 18 and love being behind people for up to 45 minutes a hole!

Very slow play. Teed of at 12 and played 10 holes. Green is in good condition for amount of traffic.

The greens were in great shape today. I am pleased at how well-taken-care-of the course is. It wasnt overly busy, either. We played 18 in 3.5 hours.

The staff and the maintenance crew should be fired from this golf course. This is the worst condition Ive seen it in over 35 years of playing it . American Golf should be absolutely embarrassed for the amount of money they charge to play this course and the condition that its in.

A location you must visit if you visit. From outside you would think its for golfers. But you can walk inside and it is actually a very attractive regional park with lake, trail and lots o shades.

My ASB banquet was hosted here and it was amazing. The food was good and the aesthetic was great. There was great picture opportunities on the balcony. If you come here come in something nice and be ready to have a lot of fun.

Monique James, (Private Event Director) is the most friendly, well organized, professional and welcoming person that Ive ever met. My nephews wedding was outstanding thanks to Monique and her staff :)

Decent public golf course that had a good mix of short and long holes. They a golf range that are both covered and uncovered. Also at times they let you hot off real grass for the range.

Not a long course but well bunkered and hilly. Puts a premium of your ability to know your tendencies and plan your shots. Punitive rough. Greens and fairways not perfect but playable. Enjoyed the challenge and will play again.

Pace of play really slow .... They didnt have any carts when I arrived for my tee time .... Wont be going back!!!!

The course is good and the greens are in great condition although unusually flat. The downside and the reason I will never return is the pace of play is outrageous. Five and a half hours for a round is a sign of mismanagement typical of a county operated entity.

For all the rain we have had the course is in good condition.

Came for the golfing range, it was a lot of fun. Not expensive either, it was 12 dollars I believe for a large bucket of balls and the clubs were free for us to use (the ones they had available at least, which was their 3 and 4 clubs). Was a good first time experience theres, came on a Tuesday where they also had tacos for sale outside.

I just played at La Mirada after not playing there for about a year. It was an enjoyable experience playing there. Our pace was a little over 4 hours and the greens were in perfect condition. Wow! How times have changed. Great round!

Its ok if you get a deal on green fees.....I paid ed ... $41.00...if I had to pay the full price which I think it was $55.00...I would not play here again...Fairways are hilly and wide but not really kept up..as in plush green...putting greens are Great....they have note on each golf cart,that explains the responsibly golfers need to keep the greens in great shape...fix your ball marks...in which golfers do here...so that is a plus!!!........tee boxes are ok...nice and flat.

Great golf course.really great staff from the grounds crew to the food servers n in the process shop.golf pros r just so so need improvement.only downside on coarse is way to crowed.majority of golfers at la mirada are very slow n need to learn how to play ready golf since it is so crowed on a regular basis.the golf course is a fun coarse n is worth checking out,

Played there last saturday with 4 of my friends. booked for 5 of us and 5 of us played but they charged me for no-show with my credit card that i used for booking. called them for an explanation and a re-fund but the manager, John was saying he is not able to help? still dont understand why i had to pay for no-show. hes saying 3 of my friends checked in as guests. only 2 of us checked in as booked. it was their staffs mistake not mine but still had to pay the no-show charge.hes avoiding my phone calls for a couple of days. be careful with these guys. they are trying to steal $$ from you.a horrible experience.

Like everyone else, the time to play is unreal. I agree the Marshal do nothing to speed play. 5 1/2 hrs + is just too long. Pace of play will keep me from ever making an afternoon T time there again.Personnel and faciltites are fair to good but not worth the slow play experience.

I love this course. Only complaint is its usually crowded. 5 plus hours during peak.

Not one of my favorites. Driving range is not open in early morning when I want to play/warm up. The clientele seems to play very slowly. People in my group have had their golf ball taken by other players.The price is low, the course is okay, but the overall atmosphere is not one that makes me at all comfortable.

I play La Mirada monthly. Enjoy the course layout and the greens are generally in good shape. Yeah, theres a wait at many holes and the greens will collect their share of ballmarks as is the case with most heavily used county facilities. Come on, its not Pebble! Many golfers simply dont repair the divots in the fairways and ballmarks on the green. Really? If you cant repair your marks you got no reason to complain.
