Ive been to a couple of plays here now (Agatha Christies And Then There Were None and Gods of Carnage) and I love this little theater. Both plays I was skeptical how they would be since this is a little community theater. Yet both times I left thoroughly entertained and wanting to come back again soon. The theater is very small (somewhere between 50-150 seats) which makes it feel like youre right on stage with them and makes the experience very intimate. Both plays I went to had me laughing the entire time. They also held a charity raffle both times for two prizes a wine bottle basket and a pair of tickets to another show. They also have complementary snacks and coffee for before the show and intermission. I highly suggest paying full price on the Lamplighters site to help support the theater but if you feel the price is more than you are willing to spend you can find half priced tickets on the sdartstix website.

We have season tickets to the La Jolla Playhouse, the Old Globe and San Diego Playgoers at the Civic. The performance of On Golden Pond was at the highest level seen at the Globe and Playhouse. Best of all it is in an intimate space.

Very small community theatre with fantastic actors... Unfortunately the 2 plays I saw there were duds (Sunshine Boys and Miss Reardon Drinks a Little--badly written endings that went nowhere), so choose what you see carefully

Very nice community feel, acting was just amazing. We watched Goodnight Mother after finding a great deal on Groupon. I liked how they did some fun raffles at the beginning of the production too- giveaways were tickets for future shows, wine, and flower vase. Very small theater, but had raised auditorium seating, good sound quality, simple stage props, mostly creative chalkboard drawings on the walls, but we did enjoy ourselves as novice theater-goers. Location is nestled in a small strip mall so keep your eyes peeled! Plus side is that parking was easy :)

This award is LONG overdue!! Went to see The Mousetrap when it first opened - Christopher Wren was simply awesome!! The other actors were also very good. I was trying to get more tickets, but you were sold out. Seats are very comfy - thank you, thank you, thank you.

For a local and regional theater, they had comfy seats and a good size stage. Good sound system, and well lit. Plus they sell snacks and soda or water.
