Maridell Center

Love it here! So much fun! This town needs this place, its the only thing we have for healthy recreation aside from hiking or going to the park. This place is awesome. Highly recommended & entertaining. You can get a good work out in too especially with you lazer tag course or roller skating rink!

As a former employee, I can confirm that they do not pay there employees and they expect all the volunteers to work there for free. They fired me a while back for some BS rumors that werent even true. They told me to never come back. They wouldnt hear my side of the story and wouldnt even let me retrieve my personal property from the building. I was a very hard worker and I was always friendly and helpful to the customers, I help them make a lot of money. Then the manager believed a employee that is known for lying over me. Dont ever work for this company.

Laser tag is a very cool set up. The skating rink is small but very cute and fun! The events held here are always great especially the haunted house!

Best experience for our family! We came on $5 Thursdays for unlimited everything. Best way to save your money. Great frozen yogurt too!

Had a great time with my kids. The skating the minigolf the nerd guns/laser tag. It was a good time. The mini golf is only nine holes but they range in difficulty so it doesnt feel like only nine.

I enjoy going to Maridell Center with my children to play laser tag and skate. Their laser tag arena is pretty big and fun to play in. We also enjoy going to their froyo shop for a sweet treat. The staff are all very professional and treat my family and I with great respect. They offer skate lessons at a very affordable price from an olympic trained skater. I would definitely recommend Maridell Center to everyone!

I was very dissapointed in this establishment. The people working here were very rude and did not seem excited to give any type of service. They always seem lazy and do not supervise any or the areas of the building very well at all. It takes a long time to get worker’s attention and they are annoyed with helping you. I have many ideas that can improve this place however, my experience was horrible. Do not reccomend.

Fun filled atmosphere. Welcoming to families and people of all ages. Skating, laser tag, mini golf; need I say more?

My kids had a blast here,a little on the expensive side but they had fun.

I am a business student at EOU and I have been to this family center only twice and I can say a few things about the way they do business. First off, the customer service. Many are rude and act as if you are not worth their time, even to do the smallest of actions such as helping you at the frozen yogurt bar or arcade. But by far the frozen yogurt bar is the worst because the staff act like its so hard to get out of their office and stand at the counter till you are all done getting your yogurt, then after you get it a simple goodbye then they are back sitting in their office without any push to go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. To me that sounds like lazy people not wanted to work with the customer, just wants to work to get their check and leave.The building and the different games you can play look very fun and open, however being a EOU business student and knowing what makes a good business good, I can say that they could do better. Before they run out of money of course...

Maybe when they have been open longer it will get better. Mini golf was fun, but was a little sad it was so small. My 4 and 6 year old had fun. 17 and 14 years not so much. We will be back to try laser tag at somepoint.

Cool little place. plenty of games such as laser tag, mini golf and rollerskating they also have a arcade.

Very overprized if you have more than one child forget about going there and less you are rich parent

I went for the roller skating. This is not a traditional roller rink. it is a banquet hall with linoleum floors that they put skaters on. It is apparent that it is a dual purpose room, from the kitchen counter on one side to the stage on the other side. While the sound system and lights were state-of-the-art, the floor was small and very marginal. My wheels came out much dirtier than they went in. Youre not allowed to use the restrooms unless you take your skates off, and in order to get to the rental counter the patrons have to walk out onto the skate floor. There are no floorguards or anybody watching the skaters, consequently lots of preteens feel free to walk out on the floor holding ice cream and drinks, and injuries go unattended. So if you are a traditional dance skater or experienced skater, this might not be the place for you. However if you are just trying to learn how to skate or want a place for the older kids to have a little fun it is acceptable for that purpose.

It was packed. In my opinion it was understaffed, but it was a Saturday night. Nice job on the remodel. Cool mini golf and neat laser tag area.

Definitely not somewhere I would plan a birthday party....owner was very rude to my mother when calling about my sons birthday....very disrespectful and very unprofessional...We put a deposit on the room and were told we could bring our own food....when we called again we were told that we would be charged $15 for a large pizza because they have a deal with dominos pizza! Dominos does not charge $15 for a large pepperoni or cheese pizza! It’s a rip off! And then we decided to cancel my mom was told she would not be getting her deposit back because they had to turn people down! We said whatever and went to Primos..much better service and much nicer people with way better party deals! Stay away from this place! I would never recommend this place to anyone!

We recently opened tropical swirls and its probabaly one of the most eye catching features we have now. Very colorful, clean, good view and good frozen yogurt. Even though i have worked here for years its really nice place to have in la grande.

Had both my sons birthday parties here and they had a blast with his friends...

I do understand that everyone has there own opinion and every now and then people will be miss pleased with some part of the business. But to be honest big or small when you think about it when has La Grande ever had a place like the Maridell Center where you can play laser tag for a decent price, it has mini-golf a snack bar, game room, party room for everyone to enjoy. We also hold the yearly haunted house every October which is a blast and have a large banquet hall for all kinds of events including soon to come a brand new Roller skating rink. And yes I understand that mini golf is a bit smaller than most places you go to but the amount of creativity and detail that was involved with the making of it is outstanding. You have no idea the amount of work and time it took to create Laser Tag, Mini Golf and Roller Skating Rink. Especially when it was built by hand by the employees and manager of the building we didnt hire anyone we built it all with our own bare hands and hard dedicated work. The Maridell Center is suppose to be a place for adults, kids and their families to come on their free time, have fun and relax. Yes it is a bit small in some rooms such as Mini Golf but people should really be happy La Grande even has it. The people at Maridell Center work very hard to achieve what we have and welcome anyone to come here and have a great time! And to add to it all We will be opening our very first MMA fitness and self defense class which will be ran by a very professional well mentally and physically knowledged certified MMA teacher and it will be an awesome event coming soon! So for anyone who hasnt been here before please come and experience it all for yourself and I promise you wont regret it! Its a lot of fun and we will be happy to have you come!
