Very good as entree prices are reasonable. Import prices are a little pricey which is par for imports.Would go back for dinner and drinks

Food was pleasantly decent considering it was the only place on the strip that didnt have a wait. The campy decor and friendly service made the experience enjoyable. They also had Trampled by Turtles playing on the sound system before our concert so cant ask for more.

This is clearly one of the finest place in the area. Anytime I go there I am so glad. They hold their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they offer. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

I got fish fry to-go last Friday. The serving was generous; three pieces of cod with an impressively crispy fry, especially given that it was take-out. Sides were big portions as well, and the potato salad was great. Ill definitely be eating here again!

Nice to have a German place in La Crosse now. Good beer selection including authentic German beers! Service was great, likely due to there only being a few customers. Food was OK, nothing special. Got a German brat and potato salad. The potato salad was not heated all the way through, I suspect it was reheated in a microwave. The brat was good but nothing I couldnt make at home for a quarter the price. Will return once theyve been open a few months and not impacted by COVID to see if the food improves.

Had $5 Burger Night! They were very good Burgers! We showed up a little after 830, they said they closed at 9 but they would be more than happy to help us! We appreciated that very much especially with our little kiddos tired and hungry. So staff and food were great for us!

Ordered from eatstreet. The order said it was delivered. It never was. Called to talk to someone at bierhaus. And got the manager breezy. She said there was nothing she could do on her end and i should contact eatstreet. After sending to e-mails to eatstreet with no reply. Breezy called me to see if I got my order yet. If not she would make me the order again for free and I could come pick it up. It isnt free if I already paid for the food and for the delivery fees. Plus if I ordered delivery why would I want to go pick it up? She proceeded to tell me that their business and eatstreet have no connection other than they pick up the food. Not to mention her customer service was terrible. No sympathy whatsoever for the food not being delivered to their customer. Unacceptable to talk to a customer the way I was spoken to.

Went for lunch, to our surprise they offer gluten free buns which is hard to find at most places. It can make it difficult to find a good place to eat. Our table had a Hawaiian burger, Cheesecurd burger and Chicken Tenders. Everyone was stuffed when we left! Try the ranch it is sooo good!!

We went in for happy hour, great deals!! The bartender was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the tap beers! She also advised us on food choices. Excellent food! We will definitely be back!

Didnt seem very organized. We were seated quickly enough. We didnt get a server at our table for nearly 10 minutes. Our server, once she showed up was very good. I must say that it wasnt the server the host told us we would have. The food was very good with the exception of the sweet potato fries and the onion rings which were luke warm at best.

Food is awful. Cold and inaccurate food. The waitstaff was very nice and helpful, I didnt see anything spit-like when I got new fries. The burgers (the only 2 times Ive eaten there) were dry and cold, the buns were hard. I was sent home with a Blue Cheese Burger because the dressing was runny and tasted funny according to my nephew. I only took it because my burger was inedible. I would suggest they stick to serving drinks, but I have never drank there, so youre on your own if you want to try your luck.

Hi.This bar has a great atmosphere but because I know you bought this recently I thought I would bring this to your attention, take it as you will. Your bartender from Thursday was drinking and smoking while serving (not completely unusual) but I saw her tonight passed out at a side table and told the bouncers that there was a girl who looked sick at the table and they said we are calling her friends even though she was completely unresponsive. They then proceeded to wake her up and let her behind the bar. Also, every single bartender smelled of weed.I love the bar for lunch so I thought I would just let you know.Rex

Our 1st time in La Crosse. We stayed at the Holiday Inn somewhat across the street and decided to check it out. It had an outdoorsy/woodsy theme. They had a huge door they let open to enjoy the beautiful evening. We had a super nice waitress, Gabrielle, and enjoyed some happy hour drink specials and a delicious supper. My husband had the perch and I had the chicken pot pie pasty, with Gabrielles recommendation and we were not disappointed! Both very yummy and I will definitely come back again should we come this way again!

Ordered the catfish. It was straight up cold. They made it right by bringing me hot catfish and tossed in a free slice of pie. Wouldve been a 4 star review if they brought me hot catfish from the start. The wait staff is great!Based on other reviews, I think its safe to say the kitchen staff need to be trained in food preparation. You dont serve undercooked or cold fish to people.Wont be going back.

My family went there to eat lunch and couldnt get anyone to wait on us and the couple next to us had been there before us and still hadnt been greeted either, not sure how long they waited but we waited 20 minutes then decided to leave. Disappointing because we all had decided what we wanted to try from their menu and not one person that worked there looked like they gave a damn!

I love twisted moose and legends! Twisted has great servers and food! Legends night club has the best bartenders around they care about you and treat you good! If u wanna have fun come to twisted or legends!

Awesome music! So cool, there are two different bars connected. Djs on both sides. Drinks are pretty inexpensive. Only downside is it takes about 20 minutes to get a drink. It is pretty busy.

The staff were awsome, I enjoyed the atmosphere, and it was clean. The reason for the 4 start is that I did not like that there were no changing tables in bathrooms to change our baby. It was a new menu to me so although I didnt care much for what I ordered it was personal taste and not bad tasting food. I will go again to try some other items but would like to see a baby changing station of some sort available. If they got one Id give a 5 star.

Pickle fries were good. Red, white, and blue burger had NO flavor. Service was terrible and there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant. We watched our waitress sit and talk to her friends the whole time. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

The atmosphere is very cabin like. The food was good but not out of the ball park. They do use fresh veggies and the staff was super friendly. I think I would like to go back and see if I was more impressed.

This place is amazing!! Food was great, the Frickles were the best as well as their homemade ranch dipping sauce. The burgers were huge and very tasty! I had the fish dinner which was very good...loved the homemade coleslaw with shredded apples in it and the tartar sauce was delicious.....Definitely would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Service was great and our food was out of the kitchen FAST.

The atmosphere was pretty nice. I had chicken and rice soup that was a little salty for my liking. That is my only experience with this place so I will not base my opinion on that alone... I would definitely try it again sometime.

The waitress, Ruth left us sitting for an hour, never checking on us. We didnt see her until our food was brought out. After waiting for an hour, I would think my burger would be fully cooked, but it was still pink in the middle. She never came back to check on us and I ended up going to the bar to ask for our check. A gentleman and lady behind the bar were helpful, but the waitress not so much.

Our server was awesome but was disappointed with the food. At the price point we were paying, I expected more. Paying extra for fries on an already over priced burger didnt make me too happy. It may be listed that fries are extra, if so, shame on me for not reading thoroughly. Still, there are worse places to eat downtown. I will be returning for another go.

Gross to the max. Never been so sick after eating anywhere . The bartender even smelled the cream before making a customers drink. Makes you wonder if those customers got as sick as us. DONT go here if you want to enjoy your time in la crosse. Plenty of other places to eat or drink....

Very good food and a huge rounded screen for sports viewing. Tuesdays is family night with a Disney movie that starts at 6:00 and 99 cent kids meals. Very clean and nice looking place.

The service was good. We were seated and served pretty quickly. I wasnt super impressed with the food. The fish I got was very good! The sides were just ok. The carrots seems like they were not made fresh like they were reheated or something? Usually I dont order my kid a kids meal and we just share our orders with her. But the Mac and cheese on the regular menu sounded really good, made with a homemade cheese sauce. So I figured the kids meal version was just a smaller portion. I was slightly disappointed when they brought out Kraft Mac and cheese...but then I was super disappointed when it looked and tasted like leftover-reheated-from the fridge box mac and cheese. It wasnt the worst food Ive ever had but there is definitely room for improvement. Might have been worth waiting 40 minutes at a nearby restaurant

Great place to come to dance on Thursday-Friday night. I was unimpressed with the bar service. I was ignored for about 20 minutes. My boyfriend decided to leave because we did not get waited on, but I had already committed to a wristband. I finally received a young mans attention and ordered a drink 3 times before he brought me it. I would recommend this bar to dance, but I would probably advise you to get wristbands and drinks elsewhere.

Stopped in after a trade show. We ordered 4 burgers and 3 of them were burnt. After biting into the 4th burger, I realized I was eating paper. They left the paper cheese divider on the burger...yuck! Instead of comping the burger like a good eatery would do, they brought a dessert. Cheese curds and wait staff were good. Wont be going back!

Now I cant speak about the food as I got there around closing time, but a few coworkers and I came across this place while staying in LaCrosse for a work event. We walked in and the bartender Logan said that they were getting ready to close but if we wanted to stay for a drink that would be ok. He was extremely accommodating and told us about the area of LaCrosse and didnt make us feel like we were a burden at all. Would recommend this place just based on the experience that I had. You dont get this everywhere. Thank you Logan!

We ate here one year ago and had an excellent experience and food. Decided to go back Saturday night, and was not as impressed. We were told a 20 minute wait for a table, which was fine. But we ended up waiting 45 minutes for the table. We ordered our food as soon as we were seated at the table, and waited an additional 45 minutes for the food to be delivered cold and over done. Taste was not even close to that of last year.

Very fun place where the mounted moose head on the wall moves! Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where staff capably handled the crush of Friday nite fish fry along with our high school reunion crowd. One room was too loud for easy conversation.

Food was disappointing. We did not get past the appetizers. Perch Fingers has noticeable bones in it. Margarita Flatbread was chewy and soft like it was microwaved and had a whole two basil leaves on the entire thing.

It looked so good... And then I ordered a coffee, but they didnt have cream... Well they had some creamers that had already soured. The worst part was the bartender knew they were sour and blamed the server for giving them too us. Why hadnt he already thrown them out? The server was new, and in my opinion, not well enough trained to serve tables.yet. The food was good, about 10% too salty though. This place has potential.

We came for family weekend for UWL and we waited over an hour for our food and our waitress only stopped once to see if we needed anything else to drink the entire time we were there. We ordered soup and cheese curds and burgers! Very basic menu items! We were seated at 8 and didn’t eat until well after 9pm.

I love the atmosphere and the home-made chicken pot pasty is so delicious. We also tried the ult poutine and it was so good! Something about gravy, French fries and melted cheese curds, I just had to try it and I So glad I did. I will definitely be back to try the other two pasties on the menu and check out the salmon finger app. I Definitely recommend this place!

Great experience! The staff was very friendly and the food was good. It even smelled like Minnesota/Canada and even though we didnt play any, it looked like there were quite a few board games that could be borrowed to play while waiting for food.

We were hesitant about going here after reading other reviews but decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was an interesting, quirky woodsy theme. When we first walked in I knew I would like the place regardless of the food because they had a cart full of games including cribbage which my husband and I love! The wait time for the food didnt seem too long as others have said, but we were playing a game and drinking a beer which helps the time pass. I did notice people at another table waiting quite awhile even just to order drinks, but our waitress was pretty attentive. I got the Friday night fish special of fried perch. It was the best fish I have had in la Crosse so far!!! Definitely worth it, lots of food. The coleslaw was bland but that didnt really bother me. My husband got a pasty which he loved but it was definitely a little overpriced. All in all we really liked it and will definitely be going back. Also, if you have kids they give out cute little moose antler hats.

This was really unique place. It has a cool north woods theme. The food was good. The service was also very good. There are glass garage doors that were open on the warm fall evening we were there. They also allow you to roast your own s’mores at the table, which was fun. Well worth the visit.

When we got here we expected to be please with the experience we had. We were so wrong. Waiting 35 minutes for our food, had to sit next to the window with bees and wasps and bugs getting into our drinks. When we got our food, my mac and cheese was cold, my sisters soup was like warm and the French fries were clearly cold didnt eat them. The other customers in the restaurant got there within 15 minutes. Waiter did not even seen sorry about the wait and even seemed to be having an attitude with us. We left right after we got our bill. We will never be coming back here again. Maybe just to drink at the bar. This is clearly a college bar, and the food is clearly meant for drunk people. The only redemption for this place is that, the hostess was very nice, and the view and wind was nice too.

I had the Sasquatch burger. It was very delicious and the portions were very generous. It was very affordable. Expect a bit of wait if you go on Fridays. Its usually packed.

The fish sandwich was great, but the mashed potatoes were dry and not seasoned appropriately. Service was good, although they did not seem prepared for the events going on in the area.
