Nice outdoor seating and spacing apart. It felt very comfortable and safe. Food was good, standard fair nothing over the top. Service was good staff was attentive. Interior look good with spread out tables. But I still like being outside if I have to go out.

Really good food! Had the Salmon salad on this trip...really good! Would get it again! Nachos are awesome but you need a minimum of 4 people to eat them! Service was great and didnt have to wait long. There is a drink menu with a lot to choose from!

It was a beautiful night at the Pettibone Boat Club! We ate outside. The view of the Mississippi River was amazing! The breeze was so refreshing and the sun was shining. The food was delicious and the service was great!

The curds were good, the sweet potato tots were delicious, my boyfriend’s burger was amazing and cooked perfectly to order. My salmon was over cooked but it tasted good. Sitting out on the river to eat was really nice. Service is friendly but a little slow.

Slow, overpriced, and easily the worst option for on water food and drinks. Be careful not to stop by on a club members only day or youll be shooed out the door. Its really a shame a better establishment cant take over the beautiful location. Head south to Lawrence Lake and save yourself the disappointment.

Im glad to see this place open again! Went here for the Friday fish night, and was not disappointed. The beer battered cod was exceptional, had to be some of the best Ive ever had! The staff is great and very accommodating. Its a little spendy but not more than you would spend at a chain like Applebees or Olive Garden.

I had the blackend white fish from their healthy plate option and it was delicious. The portion was perfect and the flavor was great. My daughter had a burger that she said it was wonderful my husband ate the fish taco and really really enjoyed it. We love coming here anytime that we are in town visiting family. The view is pretty spectacular and the wait staff is wonderful.

The vegan nachos had a ton of chips but the cheese topping was limited bc of so many chips. The servers are excellent.

Weather was great drinks were taken care of in a timely manner. Ordered food they said it would take an hour which I understood, came out in thirty minutes . Asked what the veggie medley was after I ordered a baked potato and was informed they didn’t have them and was told it was a mix of veggies..... it was only green beans(which my fiancée hates). Ordered a Caesar salad and soon after was told they didn’t have Caesar dressing. ..I said ok can I have ranch on the side then. It was clearly house salad with onions and tomatoes. Dipped the salad in the dressing a few times and thought it tasted weird and realized it was blue cheese which I hate. Still tipped and when I brought it up to our waiter he informed me he’s just the messenger.

At the boat club they really aimed to please. There was a confusion with our table and the manager definitely went above and beyond what he needed to do to make things good. I would definitely recommend it and go back. Their patio is absolutely beautiful and has a great view. Our server Kenzie did a great job.

The cheese curds here are the best cheese curds ever. Every time we come to La Crosse we stop here for the cheese curds. The white cheddar ones are big and have loooooots of cheese inside. If you come to this city and you like cheese you can’t miss them

The double beast burger was phenomenal!!!

The view is beautiful. The batter fried fish was excellent, but the fries were lukewarm. It took 50 minutes to get our food and they were out of some items.

Claimed to have wild atlantic salmon on their menu. This is illegal. Contacted them about it, showed me their invoice for premium wild pacific salmon, seemed disinterested about correcting their menu.

Had a work holiday party there. The party had the whole club to ourselves. The bartender was very nice and made great drinks. The food was pretty good.

First time here. Slighlty off the beaten path, with a very nice atmosphere. Structure is very nice with fantastic views from every angle. The menu is packed with very unique items. Everything was excellent and I will be returning with friends to experience this wonder!

I was a member of a group of 20 cyclist. We were seated at a great spot at a picnic table by the river. The food was excellent. The service was speedy and great. Everyone in the group had high praise. Highly recommended.

Had a great time with a friend of ours from Flagstaff Arizona. We wanted Wisconsin fish fry and it wasn’t Friday. He was sure we could have a great experience here. He was right! Ample portions and reasonably priced food and drink. We sat on the patio and watched the boats on the river while enjoying the view of the city skyline.

Great food and atmosphere- a favorite place for my family.

I ordered a Rueben sandwich and more than half my sandwich was nothing but fat. I mentioned and pointed out the amount of fat to my waitress and she said she was sorry. I said not your fault but she should pass on my remark.

Great little marina with a very good restaurant on site. Short walk over the bridge and you are into La Crosse at its finest. Many parks and restaurants within walking or biking distance. We had a great time at this one!

We went for Breakfast this morning. We waited about an hour for our food. It was cold and the orders were wrong when we got them. We did not get charged for our Breakfast, but thats not the point. Goodbye Pettibone, never again.

Catfish diner was tasty and huge. Enjoyable time having dinner with my wife.

Love this place even though the beverages are over-priced.

Great view! I went for supper, someone stopped by and asked if we wanted drinks right away. I had the fish tacos which were pretty tasty and the tortilla was perfectly crisped on the outside. I recommend the fish tacos for sure and the Mississippi Mud mixed drink was good too!

Expensive place onion rings and a cheap tasting margarita was $15.00, plus they were picky where you were seated. Couples w/children got to sit by the water outside while a couple looking for nice evening of drinks and dinner had to.sit by the Building at oversized tables. Bad never go.back

Went with my ncles who are from out of town. Loved it. Good service and fantastic view. Would highly recommend. Like the seating inside and out. Neat and clean. My one uncle was able to bring his dog and let her sit by us outside. Food was good.

We were there once for a reunion. The food was very good and so was the service. Loved being able to sit outside on the water and watch the barges and boats and be inside when it got too hot.

Nice marina. Food fills the belly. Fuel on the dock was $4. A gallon. I left lacrosse went to st Louis and ended up in Chicago.. over 1100 miles later. Gas in downtown Chicago today is $3.48.

Went here for a late afternoon sandwich and was treated like a second class citizen or worse. The waitress didnt want me to sit on the waters edge because I was by myself, when I asked her why she said those tables were for groups and because I was alone I had to sit all the way back next to the building. Then she said begrudgingly, if you REALLY want too.... when I said I did she sighed, rolled her eyes and said FINE.....AFTER YOU. So I picked a nice table in the shade and she said no, not that one, so after I moved and sat down, a manager came and asked me to move to yet another table. Never have I felt like riff raff at a restaurant that is open to the public . The food & the view were good but my experience was less than pleasant. Definitely a black eye on the face of la crosse.

Had lunch there today - very disappointing! Food is very overpriced and poor quality. Service is quite bad - most servers look disinterested to be there and several tables had to ask for refills and missing items from their plates. I agree the view is great - however the management of this establishment is only interested in making a buck and not providing a quality dining experience.

Because they have great comfort food and awesome view of the river and corn hole games set up along with live music some nights.

Just visited recently and the place looks nothing like it did 10 years ago. I loved the old spot, and the new is even better.

Wife and I rode our bikes a crossed town to have breakfast. Arrived an hour before breakfast ends, waited 15 minutes to be seated and another 10 min before a waitress spoke to us, where they shared they are no longer serving breakfast and it was going to be an hour and half and half wait for any food out of the kitchen. Terriable service - highly recommend not to frequent this establishment.

Beautiful views of the Mississippi River from the comfort a a patio. This is one of the best places in La Crosse to have a drink on the river. Their sangria is pretty good, and I have no complaints about the food. They remodeled last year, and it looks fantastic.

Good resteraunt on the river with outdoor seating and a tiki bar. The building is newly renovated but try to get a seat outside as it can get pretty loud indoors.

The view is great. It was one of the worst food experiences I can remember, every item was underdone and appeared to be cooked in a microwave, guacalome was a green stain on a bun, turkey burger was out of the microwave, cod fish fillets soggy and underdone, lettuce wraps were iceberg lettuce on a plate with shredded chicken from a can and raw vegetables, service was delivered in a soccer coach kind of voice, and even the poor cheese curds were soggy and undergone. Come on its Wisconsin you guys know how to make cheese curds. Im tired of paying for lousy food, the bill was $80.00, for the the privilege, my hosts were embarrassed. I wanted to go back in the kitchen and give instructions in how to use a fryer, a grill, and exactly what a lettuce wrap is. Writing this review instead. If you wanna do bar food, go for it, but cook it!
