Wow, just wow! After a great night, why not celebrate with great food? That was our plan. We were recommended Big Mics and told that they had amazing food. I am sure that the table that was served our food enjoyed it and that it was amazing. After 2 hours of being in the restaurant and waiting an hour and a day for our food we finally were served food, not the food we ordered, most was cold and some of our party was not served food at all. The waitress was very sweet and apologized multiple times for the inconvenience and the issues. We asked to speak with the manager as to wanting to get the situation resolved we were informed that the manager on duty was also the owner I were pointed to where she was sitting at the bar drinking we asked the server to have her come over and were informed that she was told by the manager/owner to handle it herself. We stated to our waitress that we wanted to speak directly to the manager as this was a management situation when the manager came over she was very confrontational with our table. Would not accept that they did our order incorrect Her breath smelled very strongly of alcohol. This is not a restaurant establishment that I would recommend to anyone. I am sure that their food is very delicious when it is cooked and served properly. The way that the owner/manager handles herself, establisment and treats her employees leaves a lot of room for improvement.***In response to the post that you have placed on here regarding me. I would love to talk to you. Also I was not one of the ones that your wife spoke to that night. Also my debit card will show proof of the cash I pulled from your ATM and paid to the server. Your server did an amazing job and was in tears at our table over the way she was treated by your wife. As far as alcohol and food goes, I didnt drink any nor did I finish the cold food I was served.***

We have had great food at Big Mics and service has been not very good. Last night we had excellent service and as always great food. The new hire mixologist is awesome. He made my wife a great drink thats not on the menu and it was awesome. If the service stays like l ast night we will be a regular at Big Mics.

We have had their food more than once, every time it is amazing. This time we had the wings, and WOW they were amazing we got the BBQ and Mild. It has now become my go to to pick up a bloody Mary. Everyone should go there and try it out.

Exceeded my expectations. We had brisket sandwiches and ribs that were both really good. Plenty of meat. They have a full bar and a few good beers on tap too. Service was great.

Great customer service. Amazing food and atmosphere, because Big Mics is such a great place to go, the patrons are amazing as well. I recommend even if your not into drinking, to just have a nice night out having a good BBQ meal made by the amazingly talented kitchen staff (Brandon)....I recommend the loaded smoked taters...and popcorn with a bloody mary. Definitely a place you may walk in a stranger, but leave as part of the family.

This is not set up for wheelchairs. They put out a table for me on the Dance Floor so I could sit. After how about 10 minutes we were finally able to order drinks. We waited another 15 minutes finally I got up and asked for a menu. I could tell our waitress was ready to leave as if she had had a long day at work. Finally another waitress came over after I got her attention and took our order. We ordered a sample platter. The sampler platter came with two sides and three small bundles of BBQ meat. I love the meat was tasty it was not worth the $22 they charge for it. If you are going for a beer the beer is good. I would not go there for a meal though.Update Big Mic and I discussed the situation, and realized there was a new member of the team who didn’t realize brisket was supposed to be sent out with the meal. So for non wheelchair people, I would rate a 4 star.

37.75 on a half rack of dry, over salted ribs that were supposedly cooked low and slow, a bagel brisket sandwich that was too tough and also dry. The chili was okay though. Wont recommend. Probably stick to cocktails.

I ordered the big mics Original smokehouse loaded taters on NYE. Clearly it says that comes with brisket on the menu. I called New Year’s Day to let them know. Whoever answered me was rude and said that it doesn’t on the actually menu. I asked if she can update the menu online because that was the only reason I went there. She hang up and on me!!!( I called a day later because it was busy and I’m sure they would appreciate it being NYE)I will never go back to that place. I’ll make sure all my friends know about how rude she was!!!

Ive only been once, but the har is nice, new, clean, and well lit. The atmosphere is friendly. The beers were cold and the drinks i saw the staff mixing looked good. I had the meltdown and it was quite good. I will go again the next time im in Kuna.

This is actually Jesus!!! (Janets husband) We love Big Mics and the fact that they have karaoke and BBQ food! The atmosphere is # 1 for us. The fact that there is rarely any trouble there, its laid back, we just enjoy having such a good time. The owners are always 100% for their customers. I have personally seen both owners go beyond to satisfy their customers and they are always bringing out exciting events for all of us. They have worked really hard to get to where they are at now. And I honestly believe they will continue to make everything a better experience for everyone. Can I also point out its a non smoking bar! Glad they finally made one in KUNA because I was tired of coming home smelling like cigarettes. Thanks Mike and Marisol, Keep up what you do! #100%

I was there about 2 months ago. Tried to order some food at the bar. I stood there for about 10 minutes with money in hand looking at the staff, and the 3 bartenders/workers occasionally looking back at me and no one ever taking my order. The DJ was great, but with him giving shout-outs to give the bartenders tips, but the bartenders not reciprocating the shout-outs for tips to the DJ, it was a bummer. I will not return here.UPDATE: No, I am not a troll. When I went in on a Saturday night, there were barely any customers, and the DJ had a problem with one eye, but he was GREAT. Every other area of customer service was terrible, which was really why everyone was leaving early or going across the street for better service. There is nothing to discuss, since the only time you chose to offer me better customer service was on social media. And, yes, you and your staff looked my way and ignored me. I am not a regular, and wont be after that. Bummer that I never got to try your food, since I heard great things about it.

This isnt your average bar. They have a large selection of drinks to choose from with a fun and knowledgeable staff. However, there are a few things that really set this place apart. The first is the fun and very welcoming crowd of regulars that are here. There are lots of bars where you go and people are just sitting and drinking, but here you will find a lot of people talking and laughing and engaging with each other. The second thing that really sets this place apart is the amazing food that they have! This is not standard bar fare, but amazing BBQ being served at an awesome bar. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I love Big Mics, its the only place I go in Kuna for a beverage. And their food is amazing. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The owners are really sweet people, who genuinely care about their customers. I have been there many times, and will continue to keep going.

Our entire party ordered drinks. The three of them got what they ordered, somehow my beer turned into a water? No big deal, easy fix. Then we all ordered food and there were more mistakes;We had two bagel burgers. One of them did not come on a bagel, not a particularly egregious error but an error nonetheless. I didnt get any of the potato rounds (they arent fries) or any of the shredded pork on my chili dog with my meal, which for $11 is a joke. The other 1/4lb burger patty was at least 50% smaller than the other one. There is absolutely no way the cook should have missed this. We pointed it out to the waitress, she took a picture. The person that got it explained that it was fine and they would eat it, but wanted to make somebody aware of it. Somebody purporting to be a manager or some authority stopped at our table well after we had finished eating (10 - 15 minutes after we reported it) to investigate; not to apologize or try and rectify the issue but to investigate. After he conferred with the waitress about the issue a second time, the resolution was to take 25% off of one meal rather than replace it or knock it off the tab.The food we did get, despite being incorrect in most of the possible ways was pretty good which bumped this review from one to two stars. If you manage to get what you ask for youre sure to enjoy it.My first time here was not one that would make me want to come back. Our waitress was friendly, but we had several issues with our orders and the resolution offered was ridiculous. Id like to consider myself pretty easy going and understand that people make mistakes, but nobody even tried to take responsibility for the issues we had or apologized for the bad service which was the most offensive part of the evening.

Amazing taste!

Forget any of the BBQ places in Boise, Big Mics tops them all. Stopped in Saturday and we shared brisket and pulled pork sandwiches along with their signature taters. The meat was tender, plentiful and everything was amazingly flavorful. We also had a Buzz Buzz porter on tap which was also very good. Almost forgot, the sandwiches came on a jalapeno bagel ... Mmmm.

I stopped by mid afternoon on Monday and just ordered a quick dinner of a pulled pork sandwich with a side of slaw. Delicious! Perfectly smoked meat, unique, yummy cheese bun and what tasted like freshly made sweet/tangy slaw. I walked all the way thru the restaurant because I wasnt aware you could order from the food truck in the back. The decor and vibe made me want to come back to check out the live music or hang on the cute outdoor patio. This place really adds to Kunas surprisingly diverse real food options!

Enjoyed our drink here. Love the look of the place, you can still see a lot of the historic details. They give you popcorn while you drink. 16 different taps and tons of bottles. Was a nice pleasant place to drink.Edit - They just added a food truck out back in June 2018. Amazing BBQ. I had a brisket sandwich served in a cheese bagel with potato slices. Husband had a burger. Well work the price. It is parked around the fence from the patio with a picnic table in front of it so you can bring your kids to get food.

Really great atmosphere!Its wonderful to finally have a Tavern in Kuna that is not a dive. Bright and cheery clean and nice.I had a burger. Flavor was good,but the bun and taters were swimming in grease. Had to ask for a separate plate to get my food out of the mess. The bottom bun was completely soaked with grease. Tomato had next to no color which is odd for August. My friend got a half rack of ribs that were overcooked and very dry. We asked for salt and pepper, they could not find any pepper . Im sure it would be a fun place to drink and party in the evenings or on the weekend . I gave Mics a two star rating because the food was one star and the atmosphere was four stars.

7/11-19 my wife and I saw the Thursday special running from 6-10pm on FB. An 8oz cheeseburger, fries and a beer for $10!We checked it out. We had a Bud Light, burger and potatoes. Burger was very good. We loved the cheesy bagel bun. The potatoes were crisp and seasoned good. Cold beer!Great food for the price. Great atmosphere, music was country, darts playing in the background. Service was also very good!We also tipped the cook in the food trailer behind the building for doing a great job with the food!We will be back to try some of Big Mic’s BBQ!

The food was awesome. The atmosphere was laid back and casual. The only problem I had was that most of the way through our night, the bar tenders seemed to kind of check out and stopped bringing drinks or checking on us. It was only about 10 pm when that happened.

We tried Big Mics recently. The place had a nice atmosphere. The bar is large, plenty of tables. They have two different dart boards and a few tables outside in the back. We went on an early Thursday evening. The place was not that crowded. We sat at the bar and were greeted instantly. The bartender offered to make us a drink of her choosing, which she brought us. The drinks were good, even though later we found out she had given me someone elses drink. Lol. When we tried to order food, it took a bit for us to order our food. When we did, we settled on the BBLT (Bacon, brisket, lettuce, tomato) on a bagel. I felt for what we paid ($14.99), the sandwich was not worth it. There was one strip of brisket and one piece of bacon. Ive been to plenty of places and received a lot more on my BBQ sandwich for the same price.Overall, for grabbing a drink, I would recommend the place, but if you want food, I would suggest eating before coming.You can follow my reviews on Google for other places of interest.

The food was decent, but nothing that we asked for. There wasnt one thing that was made the way it was ordered. It was a to go order, and I was told 25 minutes. Then when I got there, I was told 45 minutes, and when I came back 15 minutes later to wait, it was ready in bags and cold. The girls were friendly though.

We ordered for a small party of 10 this past weekend. Food was on time for pick up and I couldnt be happier. Had the brisket sliders, bbq beans, coleslaw and taters. WOW! Food was fantastic.
