A park next to the Juvenile Court and Juvenile detention center. I could only imagine the pain it creates to see misery and a park right next to each other.

Has a small park. It is really football fields. The Young Williams animal shelter is also located here.

1st time being here...seems nice...fields good quality..parking seems a little squished and dark when games end....came to watch my sons friend play....police presence for safety...some parents can be unruly when the game doesnt go their way...watched one parent try to chew a coach out...almost to the point of fighting.... But the coach took it with stride... recommended that they all go home and then they discuss it at a later time...good move

Actually visited the Young William animal center to adopt a dog.

Bathrooms and parking are a freaking job and we pay taxes for this place.. whoever runs the park should find another job.. and the police being there doesnt make me feel any safer !!

Nice open fields, great place to play with your children. Bathroom facilities available and water fountains too. Nice area for frisbee or wide open sports activities.

Visited my grandsons games here for the last few years. Great park, need to add more restrooms and keep them cleaner!! Alot of people all over Knoxville and beyond use this park.

Awesome park!!!!...my grandson played AAU football here last weekend....they actually won 3rd in the Nation!!!!we came here from Lancaster SC....this park is huge!!! I enjoyed watching all the kids playing football against a lot of states that traveled here!!!

Its very clean and easy to find. A very good place to have a family outing.

I was there for a youth football tournament. Two teams from Atlanta got in a big fight. They should of both been kicked out. The tournament director gave them another chance. In my opinion that was wrong. Then the team from Mississippi could not been comprised of 13 and 14 year olds. Their average height was 62. Average weight was around 240/250 lbs. Also, when you host a tournament, you supply the people to run chains.

Very spacious

I ran track there as a youth. I ran relay. Could run a mile in 3.48 seconds. I saw and felt inspiration in visiting a time when my life had a childs purpose.

This place is clean and wen there are games there are proper security

Great public place for kids with skate park & ball fields open.

Quiet place to go with the kids. You can have a picnic, play with the kids or throw a birthday party. They have grills for cooking out and public restrooms along with a conveinant skate park for the older kids

I love this place, great park and the county works hard to keep it nice. New playground this year

Lots of fields for the games. The only downer I see if the fields should be labeled better. The 1st we went we didnt have a clue which field was what field. Like the fact they have plenty of cops on scene. Kids parents get wild at games now days.

Frisbee golf is amazing here.

John Tarleton is the site for Knox County Youth League Football competition. Its always a good time going to watch these young people compete while learning about team sports and sportsmanship. A character building experience for our young people and a source of family participation.

Its has a long walking trail, and a creek that flows through it, beautiful!!!

I always enjoy​visiting, I read some reviews that mentioned small items of trash, but personally, I think this is a very clean park, well lighted and multipurpose. I think an interesting side feature is the proximity to Young Williams Animal Shelter! I have frequently referred friends to the shelter, because I saw a dog they might like walking at Tarlton Park!

Great place for football games and family

Held a youth football tournament this last week that obstructed people from getting into the animal shelter nearby. When people would enter for said shelter, there were people standing in the way asking for payment. I was harassed and they continually yelled at me. Happened twice in a week. Ugly situation to be in.

Wonderful park. They need better parking though. To far to walk to the fields with a disability.

The atmosphere for the kids is amazing

Great football fields but the refs so far have not been consistent in calls. They have concessions and bathrooms so thats a plus from using the fayes.

I am sorry but I can not give a good review back in 1985 my grandmother was walking there and 2 drunk boys was going to tsrlton home to sneak out their girlfriends and hit and killed her there that group home needs more security to keep that from happening every again

Fields need better maintenance. Bathrooms are never open. There are porta johns but they are always a mess and disgusting and/ or dont lock.

Attended Peewee football game with family. Very nice facilities

Dont like that theres so many speed bumps, and theyre more like stop signs

I only drive near this park and know not much about it. So until further notice I only gave 3 Stars

This place needs another way of leaving the park other than the one way in and out. Knoxville city, look into it.

Located in a rough neighborhood, may not be safe at night. Keep your children close if you find yourself here for a tournament.

Cleanest animal shelter I hv ever been n. The staff and volunteers are awesome and actually care. I hv never experienced a shelter like this I would enjoy going bk and adopting from them. The dogs isnt in cages they are all in AC rooms with windows and even got a puppy play room and outside pools to take dogs to play and interact with them if I had to take an animal to a shelter which I wouldnt but it would b this one they even work with them to see their strength and attitudes and even give them a peanut butter Kong everyday its unreal..all hands down I cant say enough bout this place!,Go Adopt

Its okay, close to UT and Cumberland Avenue. Nice little park next to a stream and picnic tables available. Bike trail passes through.

A pretty and secluded park convenient to those who live off of Middlebrook and old North Knoxville.

The fields have always been well keep. I enjoy watching my kids play on the same fields that I played on as a kid.

My husband and I started here for a bike ride. The trails are lovely.

We got married in gazebo, have lots memories as a child on the old wooden playground. Great place to take your family!
