We will miss our family fair events this year due to covid. My two sons enjoyed going to the Tennessee Valley Fair each year, they had a lot of fun. They both always gets the all you can ride wrist bands for only $30.00 per person. Each Year the Tennessee Valley Fair has amazing concerts and events.Tennessee Valley Fair has great food, games and rides for kids of all ages. The parking is only $10.00 per car, we always park at the main gate entrance each year.

Always a fun time. Plan on spending some cash though. Save up in advance. Its put on during a fairly hot time of the year so dress accordingly. 2019 wristbands were 30 bucks. Food is around 12 per person from vendors. They usually have a few drink vendors that offer cheap refills of 1 dollar.

Had a great time at the fair this year! Ive been going to the tennessee valley fair since I was very young and it has never disappointed. This year wasnt my favorite year by far BUT the Michael Jackson experience performance saved the day for me! I felt like their could have been a little more this year but my son still had a blast and so did we. Just wish the performance times werent so far apart and wish they performed more.

I took my 5-year-old to the fair this year. Due to his age, he was free to get in. The all you can ride bracelet is $30 which although expensive is better than buying them at their other package deals. 4 tickets for $5. Which is barely enough for a single ride (some are 5 or more tickets). I was however impressed how much many rides he was tall enough to ride alone. He is right at the 42-inch mark. We were there from 5 pm until 10 pm and he rode pretty much the entire time. It wasnt too crowded until dusk began. Nighttime is horrible and the lines are very long at that point. Also, multiple fights broke out as it got later.

This place is SO over priced. $10 to get in and $25 for a wrist no matter the age. In the 90s the fair was on both sides of the park....not anymore. So if you have toddlers youre better off taking them to Pigeon Forge to get your moneys worth. However my girls did love the petting zoo.

If you havent ever been to the Tennessee Valley Fair, its a must. At least once. Its got all the things youd think a fair would have including food that is one of a kind and out of this world. So if you are in town early September, take a cruise through the fair and check it out.

The only disappointing aspect of this event was it it does not continue for another week. A friend of mine commented that this event was where the Rednecks hang out. I was so upset by this comment. What I saw this event was hard-working people enjoying an amazing venue with great entertainment in a safe and amazing environment. The circus was the premier event for me. I literally got to see men risk their lives doing somersaults off a platform powered by motorcycle into a canvas. Where do you get to see that for a $10 entrance ticket? This event should be a Melting Pot for Knoxville. Everyone should attend. We shall return.

It was a good experience. Not very crowded and they had a great section with just kids rides (my 5 year old was with me). I found it a bit unfair how the unlimited wristbands were the same price for any age. It was pricey overall; spent around 70 dollars between parking, entrance, one wristband, and food. Also was disappointed the fireworks were so late. 1040! Needless to say it was good but not great.

I go here often, mostly a peaceful place. If you like ducks, lots of ducks, and a few swans, they are eager to be fed and will take the food out of your hand. Theres also a walking trail around the lake. Great place to visit.

Very very very dirty. Rides looked like they could break at any point and most of the rides my kid couldn’t ride. She was either too tall or too short. Also didn’t feel safe this year. I felt like I was continually pulling my daughter closer because of the way people were acting. This was probably our last year going.

This is a very fun and exciting event to go to. The food is overpriced and often mediocre, but thats pretty typical of any fair. The rides are good though and the overall atmosphere of the place is very pleasing. It would be a great place to take your family out for a fun night or go on a date. I would recommend this place to anybody whos interested.

I took took my 2 year old daughter, sister, and mother to the TN Valley Fair for the first time today and we had so much fun!! I knew my daughter couldnt ride many rides, but she did get to ride 4 or 5 (shes tall). But I just want to say the workers were amazing there! They were so nice to my daughter! She wanted to ride the ponies so we did and when she was done the man walked her over to us. But she said I want pet the pony, so the man took over to it and let her pet it. Also, at a few of the carnival games they were really nice. The lady at the little fishing for sharks and then we stopped at the balloon throw and played a game. My daughter kept saying she wanted a balloon. I told her no thats for his game. He said Ill give her a balloon. I thought he would just blow up a balloon, but he made her a tomato. It was really cute! Like I know its silly but I really appreciate how they went above and beyond. Every one was really nice and we had a lot of fun!! Thank you Tennessee Valley Fair!!

My family has been attending this fair since the early sixties. When my children were young in the eighties, it was still a wonderful place to go. When they eliminated rides on both sides and their prices went up it became more challenging to go. We continued throughout the nineties, but after fights started breaking out after dark and it became a very shady place to be, we discontinued going. I went back in 2015 with my son and granddaughter and a very mediocre time was had. We decided this year, just to go to pigeon forge and Dollywood. The cost is very similar, except for the Dollywood tickets, but hey we have a season pass. So goodbye fair. Your price gouging and very little to see and do for the amount you charge and the type of people who work there, will eventually run everyone off. The only or the majority of fair goers now consist of people who can walk there, and people associated with the contests. So no more wondering if we will get jumped on the way to the car or now, even on the fairgrounds.

By the time you park and enter you have spent $20. To watch a concert which have been previously free in the past they are now $10 for general admission and $15 for VIP. Armbands are $30 for unlimited rides. You wait in line and the ride last no more than a minute (no joking or fabricating this.) Then the overpriced fair food. Be ready to spend $100 per person to go. Totally not worth it at all. Save your money and go to an amusement park instead.

It used to be a fun place but they’ve literally changed so much not just their rules but everything in general. I’m in my last weeks of pregnancy and NEED to carry my pills with me at all times because of my blood pressure ( along with other lady stuff ) and they didn’t allow me to bring my purse in because it wasn’t “small enough” but they let another lady with a bigger purse go in . How is this even acceptable ? In all honesty you’re better off spending your money somewhere else their workers are beyond arrogant and nasty and they are way too overpriced.

The Tennessee valley fair is fun seen bret Michaels was great unfortunately they say you get 55 tickets for 50 dollars and a coupon book not true you get 50 for 50 and no book when asked they said that the deal is for s different state the fair should have corrected wade shows on that also 2 major rides not working the ring of fire and the swinging chaos ride the ride names are different but they are the same ride also just because wade shows say that they are the biggest on the east coast doesnt meen that they are the best, they are gonna being all the good rides to bigger fairs go on their website and see what they bring to the Oklahoma state fair which overlaps the Tennessee valley fair what a shame we must have gotten all the rides they had they had no other place to put them the fair really should check out other vendors I know degglar attractions out of martin county Florida is big enough and alot better than wade
