I attended the weightlifting competition at the civic center over the weekend to watch my 17 year old daughter compete. I found the event organized and well run.In order to watch her I also had to tow along my 6 month old infant. I was very disappointed to find that I was turned away at the door with my baby stroller and told that I was also not able to bring a baby carrier. Therefore I was forced to hold a 6 month old for 8 hours without a break. And your no reentry policy had me trapped in your facility until the end of the event. She weighs about 22 pounds. I found this physically grueling and unnecessary. My daughter is not able to sit up on her own and needs to be constantly supported. With your rules in place how is a mother supposed to be able to use the bathroom or set a child down for a brief minute??? Today my back is extremely sore and I can barely stand up.. I am extremely upset that this is your policy as you need to provide an alternative for mother’s that bring their children to events if you are not going to allow them to at least bring an infant carrier. I think that you seriously need to review your policy. It is abusive toward mothers with infant children.
Nice quit place
You get what you pay for. Its very cheap and that includes the quality of their services. The womens locker room has an opening to another room that is not locked, which means anyone could enter the womens locker room through another doorwhile women are there showering and getting dressed. I also believe they use surveillance in the locker rooms and bathrooms which is an invasion of our privacy and rights. I wont step foot in that place again, ever.
Opens sometimes. Needs upgrade.
Always closed
Great events.
