I cannot say enough good about fishing guide Steve Boyd. We have fished with him for vacation 2 years in a row and a total of 4 days on the water. We are in the process of scheduled our 3rd year with him in 2019. He knows his stuff, he is open and honest about the fishing conditions and what you can expect. He wants to be sure you catch fish while you are with him. My boyfriend is a tournament fisherman in Wisconsin and Steve has been willing to let him use artificial lures while also being honest about the fact that if he does, based on conditions he may not catch as much as he would with live bait. I am not an avid fisherman so he was very helpful on the days I fished. One day I even went to just enjoy the day on the water and did not fish, just went to enjoy watching and to relax. Steve knows his stuff! I would highly recommend fishing with Toho Bass Guide Steve Boyd!

My wife and I booked a trip with Steve for the very end of November. It was awesome! In 4 hours we caught so many fish we actually lost count, 20+ easily. Several of those being very large fish. Steve does a great job at being professional and staying on the fish, while also being able to have a good time in the process. Lots of great conversation and he taught us several things about the area we never knew, and I grew up in Orlando. We will be returning again next year without a doubt! Thanks Steve we had a blast!

This was such a disappointing trip. To start the guide is very rude and unprofessional. I called the night before our trip just to confirm the time and place we would be meeting and his response was “didn’t you read my website.” During our fishing trip he fished the entire time and barely gave me room to fish on the front of the boat with him and hardly acknowledge my realitive that was sitting in the back joining me. This guy is definitely all about the money and doesn’t care if you catch anything or not. Please don’t waste your money!!

Lake Toho Guide Steve Boyd is a true professional. When I spoke with Steve to arrange a last-minute, afternoon fishing charter with my 14-year-old son, Steve spoke very candidly about the fishing conditions. He could have blown a bunch of hot air about inaccurate fishing conditions to make a buck. Instead, being a man of integrity, Steve took a very low pressure, factual approach based on weather conditions and his years of experience.My son and I ultimately made a thoroughly informed decision not to go fishing. Although we didnt go largemouth bass fishing with Steve during our short stay, we still had a very positive experience with Steve.Steve, thank you for setting a great example to my son. If Im ever back in Orlando with time for fishing, there is no doubt that I will call you.
