I used to love going to leisure world. Great bowling alley arcade skating rink and pool hall. Nice bar as well with great live music. Great place to hang out with your friends with a great staff

Fun day

We took our church youth group to bowl. Wed planned on bowling in the late afternoon, but when we called were told that there were leagues in the afternoon and wed need to come earlier. We showed up on time with 30 kids only to be told they were doing an event with Special Olympics and all the lanes were taken and we would not be able to bowl. Thats pretty poor communication on their part.They said we could skate. With 30 kids and not many options, we skated. The skating was fun. The two ladies who rent out the skates were friendly and helpful. Some of the kids who couldnt skate played billiards. Overall, it was a good experience.If we had our hearts set on bowling, I wouldve given them 1 star. If wed planned on skating from the beginning I wouldve given them 4 or 5. So, a 3 it is.

Went to celebrate a kids birthday. Had to get quarters from counter because change machine was down. Asked for 50 dollars to divide by 5 kids said only could have 10 dollars. Forget this place. We wont be back.

In the past this place hasnt been a good place to bring your family. But recently an update in ownership has brought new pool tables, flooring in the bowling area, and a variety of arcade games that give tickets for kids to choose prizes with. The bar hasnt changed in years and needs a remodel but its still a nice dive to have a drink in. There is roller skating here too but I havent been in there for years to give it a proper rating. Give them a try.

We stopped in here to have some family fun in the ac since it was over 100 degrees outside while we were on our family vacation. When we pulled up the place looks a little rough but not bad. When we get inside the place looks like it hasnt been touched since the 60s or 70s which was kind of cool at first until we realized they havent done anything since then and smelled badly of smoke. The lanes were all scratched up and had some chunks gone out of them. The bowling balls were even worse. They were all broke with several large chunks gone out of some of them. You couldnt bowl straight if you were a pro. During our game the pins reset several times by themselves and cost us over half our game. When we told management about it he simply said Ill see where the cycles at and did not reset our game for us or anything to let us get back the turns it took away from us. We ordered a large pizza when we started and it took them 30 minutes to cook what was more like a small or maybe a medium pizza, when there were no other orders but ours, and when it did finally come out it was of course burnt. The tables and chairs are all half broke and the floor up by the lanes had chunks gone everywhere. One was over a foot long right by our seats. You could easily break an ankle. The ceiling tiles were a nasty yellow from all the smoke with the exception of a few newer tiles. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The smell was almost unbearable, the stalls were all broke, the sink was black like people had been spitting their chew in them. After seeing the way the bowling alley looked we were to afraid to see what the skating rink might look like. It was very obvious that they focused all of their attention to their billiards room and the bar. Needless to say we will never go back and would not ever recommend this place to anyone.

Great place for all ages. Darts, bowling, pool and skating. Cant ask for much more in this area. The manager Tim will always make it right for ya, a fun place ran by a good dude.

I have shared so many memories with friends here. Bit of a rough crowed though so not typically the type of place to be on a late Friday night if your with little kids.

This place should be closed down! Hardly any lanes in working order so we werent able to get a lane with a bumper for our four year old. Also, the things that help kids bowl were unavailable, although three ADULTS were using one. Really!? When we finally got one, it was falling apart, held together by electrical tape and the ends were flattened and crooked. Most scoring machines were broken. We ended up having to move lanes because of the one we had not working properly. The floors were all broken up with chunks missing in places. When I went to try to get our little one something to drink no one was at the snack counter or the bar area. Ridiculous! We played one game and left!

Fun place to take the kids.

This is a good place to go. Wether your playing pool, bowling or drinking theyre all reasonably priced especially their drinks and they keep up on their pool tables pretty well and always have a desvent stick to use if you didnt bring one. The staff is alright and usually friendly.

I always have an awesome time here! Sure, some things are a little scuffed up, but it dosent look bad. It looks cool, like its been used a lot. They have good quality food and the arcade games in the back are easy to work and always give out tickets.

Suprisingly its very clean inside and nothing what I expected. Family friendly!!! Bowling, pool, skating, and food!!! Owners should fix up the front and sign, would draw more business!

Very fun and cheap. Only problem I had wasnt a big one and it was that several bowling balls were broken and the bowling alleys werent in the best condition. But still had a great time and would recommend it to other people.

Trash. Went to bowl and cost me and one other 20 dollars for two games. Floors are cracked and tiles missing. Great place for crack heads to make deals or pimps to do their thing as well. Service was good though. Just too expensive for such a run down hole.

This place is super sketchy. its not really a place for kids, as you would hope. Many bowling lanes have problems, and have a hard time resetting correctly. There are dents in the floor of the skating rink, which really screws you up and could lead to injuries. I obviously dont know what the womens restrooms are like, but the mens restrooms were sketchy and spooky. The mens in the skating rink part didnt even have a door in front of the actual toilet. I had to go over to the bowling part of the building to do my business. And in there, it was stuffy and unventilated. The things that keep this place from being a one star is the staff is friendly, and the arcade works for the most part.

Needs updating but other than that it was so much fun we had a lot of laughs and the staff was nice.. great time had by all!!

Never been there. Called to get information on pricing. The employee i spoke to was rude and spoke to me with a nasty tone and attitude. If your spoken to this way its not going to change once you arrive there. My suggestion explore other options of fun things to do.

Dont go here! We spent an hour watching the pins not reset. The employees and manager were not apologetic and did not seem to care. We ended up receiving a refund after some words with the manager.

Ive been twice and both times were terrible. Pins dont reset half the time and the staff doesnt seem to care at all. By far the worst bowling alley Ive been too, but its the only one in kirksville so expect to have issues if you go.

Our lane didnt function properly for the first game but staff were able to get it fixed on a busy night.

My 5 yr old absolutely loves Leisure World we go every Friday night.
