Hahahaha! The place is closed, but that doesnt stop them for going full on virtue signalling on their website. Based on that, I doubt Ill ever be back. Besides, Woodys across the street is 10x better. Better food, better bar, better booze, better staff. They should probably stay permanently closed! Would give no stars if I could.

Check the hours! I almost missed my chance to order lunch, not knowing they closed at 2pm. The burger was pretty good, though no tomatoes were available and the lettuce was shredded. The fries were nice and crispy. The atmosphere is a combo of sports bar and old time pub. Good service, friendly staff.

It has the 2nd best burger in town! Can guarantee. The drinks are well made, friendly and attentive service. The staff is very friendly. I got my free birthday shot/drink, was tasty, would recommend the pineapple turnover cake!

Had the fry-bread taco. Very tasty but the salsa kind of drowns out the flavor of the meat. Service was excellent and the food came quickly!

The Dukum Inn is one of the best spots to eat at in Kirksville. Friendly & professional staff, knowledgeable bartenders, good burgers, fried tenderloin sandwiches, & wings. Its worth paying a bit extra to get onion rings instead of fries.

The friendly staff makes this a nice place to hang out. The two pool tables and shuffle board table give folks something fun to do. They always seem to have a game on the many tvs. I bought two cocktails for 10 bucks. And the cheeseburgers and onion rings are amazing.

We had the appetizers today. We had the onion rings the mushrooms and chicken wings. They were absolutely all three the best we have ever had. It is a 5-star rating and the gentleman that waited on us was a young man nice clean-cut young man. Great experience will certainly go back.

Always a good place for drinks and some good quality bar food. Plus the Shortens are good people and I know that they will always treat their customers and employees with respect. Go there on a Thursday for the best all you can drink in Kirksville. I drank like 6 electric lemonades.

Fun place to hang out and drink. A bit expensive for the drinks but that could be every bar (I dont go to the bar a lot). The staff is friendly and helpful.

Still as great of a bar as it was when I was a Truman student. Now that Im an Alum of over 22 years this place is a must visit everytime we come back to town to visit. Would not change anything. Great drinks at good prices with great bartenders.

This is the best bar in town. The atmosphere is antique there is a great bar on both sides there are pool tables, slots beautiful men and handsome women :) the owners a great guy who comes and meets his customers and usually remembers them personally each time they return. The bar food is great the staff is great the beer and drinks are great.

We were upstairs, attending a Fraternity dinner. The gentlemen who were our bartenders/waiters did a fantastic job taking care of all of us. They were courteous and prompt. They sure earned their money that night. And deservedly so. Great place!

This is a neat old building that has been converted into a bar/grill space. They have a great selection of bottled and on tap beer and a large selection of harder liquor to choose from. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and the owner will stop by and say hi when he is in the building. There menu is limited compared to fast food or a casual dining establishment but the food is great and portions are very generous for a reasonable price. If your in the Kirksville area this is a great stop for a casual night out.

Awesome food, libations and service. Most definitely a college bar but welcoming to older crowd and locals. Plenty of big screen TV and lots of seating. Atmosphere most definitely enjoyable and very laid back and casual. Cant recommend any watering hole more than this place.

Stopped for appetizers and a beer in lieu of lunch, is a sports bar in old downtown building. Lots of draft beer choices and good food. Combo platter included wings and onion rings. Wings had a dry rub and the rings were big sweet onions with light batter, both delicious. Popular spot that afternoon and not sure they had full staff but the bartender/server was on the hustle and took care of us promptly.

The food here was great! I had a double helping of the fried mushrooms, and the fry bread taco. Everything, and everyone, was fantastic. All of the bartenders stopped by to talk to me as well, not just the one that got my drink and took my food order.

This historic bar and grill in Kirksville is a wonderful place to go have a drink and meal. They have several pool tables and shuffleboard. It is a great place to hang out with friends.It is very popular with the college crowd and can be a little crowded on the weekends, but always a great atmosphere.

Ok place to go.. Bartenders are pretty nice and some of them are pretty quick to serve you. The pool sticks definitley need replaced not one pool stick in there wurth using.which is like 1 of w forms of entertainment that they have. So def.need to get those replaced. Drinks prices arent too bad and they taste pretty good.

Horrible service.. Wouldnt suggest this place to my worst enemy. They seem to forget the meaning of customer service. Truly a college town bar with service that lives up to it. Food was overly deep fried and if your looking for a great place for dinner, try Maxwells around the corner. Great food and service. Steve was awesome. Retired vet who cared about his business and truly expressed that! Go Trump!

Great place to meet friends. Good food but limited menu, good drink and lots of friends. It has a very comfortable atmosphere and can get a little loud as it gets later into the evening. Staff is excellent and it is a very pleasant place to meet.

Just as much fun as I remember it. Great beer selection and the perfect vibe for a college bar.

Garbage service. Food overly deep fried and dry. Rude waiter that could not keep track of drink orders. Also forgot 3 times to give us drink specials. Gave us an attitude when we wanted to order more drinks - gee too bad he had to do his job. Typical college kids who wanted something for nothing. Dont waste your time or money. Go to Maxwells right down the street for much better food and great service.

Went to have a drink and was greeted wRmly by staff and assisted in getting the drinks quickly and hey they had free pop corn.

Literally the only decent bar in Kirksville. If you want to dance, Wrong Daddys. If you want to eat, wooden nickel. But if you want a good bar with good friends, the Dukum is the place to be.

Should be on Kirksvilles Historical Registry, a landmark bar for college students and alumni of all ages. Did take some patience to get bartenders attention though, even with an unusually light crowd for a Saturday night.

Fun college bar in an otherwise bleak bar scene. Obviously, a very young college crowd frequents the bar, but there are always patrons of all ages in the establishment. Best to avoid the all you can drink specials on Thursday evenings.

Best bar in Kirksville. Thursday night is very much for the college crowd, but isnt the best time of you are looking to sit and have a drink with some friends. Other than that, its a fun mix of the typical college bar and a small town bar with phenomenal food.

Great barkeep, newer staff needed help, but the barkeep was the saving grace of the whole party. Completely professional and running his butt off to make sure things were right even when others did them incorrectly in the first place.

This is a great place to go with a group of buddies! The service is wonderful and the bartenders are great to talk to as well! Last time we went Justin Persell was tending, and he stayed on top of it the whole night!
