Safe, consistent, friendly. Our kid grew there from a baby in arms, through the levels of swim lessons, to becoming an instructor and lifeguard.

I just started using the Peter Kirk Pool. Its so nice to swim under the sky.The locker rooms are pretty basic but have everything you need to clean up after swimming. What I appreciate most is the respectful lifeguardsThank you City of Kirkland for your lovely pool.

Went for a birthday party. What a great pool!! The shallow pool is huge which is a huge plus. Youre not constantly crashing into other kiddos.

Free parking, price was higher than many order places, so we decided not to take class there.

I love swimming at this place when its open and have been swimming here for many summers even as a kid. It is a wonderful outdoor pool with both a diveing board and a shallow kiddy pool. During open swim one lap lane is usually kept open for those who would prefer to lap swim.

My daughter loved the pool. Swimming staffs and life guards are friendly and helpful... Very patient with little swimmers

Far too few hours during the short summer. City should expand both weekend hours and week day hours starting June 1. Other comparable communities have far more convenient and frequent open times

It is a fun and open pool, very close to other shops in downtown Kirkland. Also has a huge park very close by!

If you have a child who cannot swim in the deep end, perhaps take your business elsewhere. While there is always room for those who know how to swim in the deep end it can get very crowded for those who cant, especially on a hot summer day. They do have a separate wading pool for the very young children but it fills up so quickly you should plan to arrive at LEAST 15 minutes beforehand. The parking can be difficult (usually there is never garage parking and I end up on the street and just walk in). The price seems a bit steep for the time you get. Ultimately if you are looking for a place with a pool and that your children will enjoy, this works they have a diving board for those who pass the swimming test to go into the deep end. If you dont have kids with you and just looking for a place to swim laps, this isnt for you, or at very least it is probably a last resort. Besides free swim I know they also have lessons which are very good, I suggest the early morning lessons because there are less people competing for parking.
