This facility is closed from November 16th, 2020, until December 14th, 2020, per Governor Inslees orders.
Amazing ice rink has one large ice and one smaller ice it has a nice lobby with tvs it has vending maciens and toy despencers (cost money usuialy 25 to 100 cents) and you can watch the ice behind clear windows the employees are nice and make sure that you are safe from covid 19 and pucks and all other stuff. Sno-king has a great hockey program as well as figure skating, learn to skate, birthday parties and free skate
Note: I dont play hockey or have kids who play hockey.Still, I love this place. Every time I wander in and think about maybe learning to skate or play hockey, the staff is always helpful in explaining things. Its great to see hockey alive here in Kirkland. I plan on taking classes real soon and my boys are getting more and more ready to learn themselves.
Nice ice rink arena. Fair price and around some food shops. Well maintained and theres a sitting area for those who dont skate.
Jeff in the pro shop did a mighty fine job of sharpening my skates. He trued up an old grind that was not level and now they rip!Great job
So. Very. Cold. As a coach on the bench with the players, it was super cold.Ice was decent quality probably due to hope cold the arena was. Change rooms were much warmer.Bathrooms could use some TLC
It’s great to be active with the family, away from screens. This facility is older and not well maintained. You pay more during the holiday season. I’m not aware of another rink in the area.
Great ice ring and very well priced. Love it here on the weekends
Had amazing experience there. Will visit it again and again. Unfortunately there is not a lot of public skating slots.
We had a blast for my daughters birthday. Clean very accommodating staff. Made is feel like family.
My son said fun lv 9. But you only go to 5 star...
Best ice surface in the Northwest. Smells like youd expect a world class organization would smell. Go SSK!
They want to re-open June first despite a literal global pandemic going on and an ice skating rink being literally the least essential service imaginable
Good place to learn and enjoy ice hockey and ice skating
Lace up some skates and get out there! Good schedule, friendly manegment.
Great ice skating rink. Not a lot of public skating though
Just got my kid Dequarius enrolled in skating. He loves it so far. I came in a while back and spoke to a handsome gentleman who had a voice as soft as freshly churned butter. I believe his name was Andy. He said it was his first job and he was really excited to be working there. He helped me get to the information I needed to get my kid enrolled. Awesome work kiddo!! If I wasn’t as old as I am, I might think that I had a a chance with a young bull such as himself. If he has a girlfriend, she has herself a keeper. Rock on Kingsgate and keep skating!!!
Not good viewing of the full ice from the stands. All other aspects of the small ice complex was fine. Just not good for the fans .... Aside from the killer heater!!
Good times, I have played a lot there with Sno king and Rus and his brother.
Ice arena-almost non existent. Shoes- sweaty. Schedule- unclear. Service- absent. I mean, you could see the floor where there’s “supposed” to be the ice skating arena. The wear and tear needs serious repair. It’s barely ice arena.
This used to be a supermarket, and it shows. The tawdry restrooms are as far from the entrance and main bleachers as possible, and there are pillars throughout, blocking a spectators line of sight. Theres a weak heater thats sometimes on over the main bleachers, and a warming room with a nice TC but not much view of the ice. The ice itself is okay, because the Zamboni drivers make an effort. Not my favorite rink.
Good place and great programs. A bit older facilities but it’s the beat option around for hockey, figure skating and general public skating. They’re super busy so schedules are usually hell to work with but the people and programs are awesome.
You can never free skate and that sucks.Well after your response Ive changed my review. Thanks for letting me know whats up.
Always been great. Been playing here for 20+ years. Always fare and helpful.
I went here with a bunch of my friends and it was awesome, we made a lot of memories!
Great rink overall.
A good place to bring the kids to spend some energy for a reasonable price. Bathrooms were not stocked, but a minor issue for a good experience for the kidos
Great fun for public skating. Fairly limited hours but a reasonable price and good sized parking lot.
Good ice rink, nice and cold and in good condition compared to kent. They just updated the shower heads which was much needed.
Great skating and service. And watching kids playing hockey and bump into each other... Priceless
Reasonable prices on weekdays, little people, simple, enough room to speed, feel on my bum a ful of times and everyone was chill about it. Friend got hurt and a teacher was super supportive. Great environment. Definitely planning on coming again soon with more people.
Good ice and Great hockey
Theyre charging as twice as much during holiday skating without providing any other additional service and what lasts until Jan, 7 and coincides with winter break in Lake Washington School District. Shameless money extraction.
There was a “ try hockey free day” advertised for the Renton Snokings. My daughter was very interested. With both my husband and I from MN- both grew up in a hockey family- we were thrilled she was interested! WELL, needless to say, I tried reaching out to the contact listed and received NO response. My daughter was very disappointed she didn’t get to go! What a joke this place must be. I called and left her(the listed contact on website) a voicemail & also emailed to try to sign my daughter up & get more info for this event! People, don’t waste your time- this must be fake hockey!! I’m trying to find somewhere else on the Eastside for my daughter to play but it seems we are very limited here in Washington State.
Everything was great except it was a little crowded and awkward to get to the change rooms.
Had a bad experience. Could not use walkers because i was too old. Anybody should be able to use walker under the age of 18. I can not skate so i did not have fun.
The rental skates are not sharp. Unlike quality Canadian ice rinks, Americans can not find the time to manage their skates. Other than that, its a pleasant full size rink.
Liv Roger Vivian and Felix went to the Sno-King Ice Arena
Watched my grandson play in a Tournament. Fun
Went there once and I instantly regret it. This place is very dirty and no one even helped us. This was also very pricy for just 4 people. The ice was partially yellow and it was not a good experience. If you want to ice skate, don’t go here.
Good rink - bring extra layers because it is COLD. Facility is well kept but older while locker rooms are sparce but typically clean. Like the hockey rink as it is well lit, the boards/gates are good to go, and the zam leaves a good cut.
The only ice arena in Seattle worth going to, it has the most comfortable skates you can rent
Really nice place to go ice skating. Reasonably priced during the week. Sometimes gets busy, but not too bad.
Decent ice rink, but services needs to be open more for skate sharpening
Found my first figure skating coach here, but the staff are great, and so are the prices
Nice rink with good prices
I love this place. Great place to go for public skate
Well maintained, hockey and figure skating programs and public skating times throughout the week.
If you just want to skate and have some fun with your friends the public ice time here is where you want to be
My other home. I love the staff and the skating. Everyone is very professional.
Definitely showing its age, but still a great place to catch some ice, and the staff is always friendly. Heaters turn on when rink temp is below 50 degrees. I had a stadium chair stolen from here, so that sucked, but my fault for forgetting it I guess...
Nice arena. Incredibly limited public skate hours so it gets crowded but its lovely for the novice.
Cold. Good seating. Locker rooms arent fancy but are roomy. Little pro shop.
A good local skating arena. Excellent lessons for kids for figure skating / just recreational skating.
Super family friendly, vibrant and active place to skate, awesome tutors if looking, excellent management & events.
Its great. Just I hope they offer more help to first timers
Great open skate for families. Friendly staff and the ice is generally good.
Came here with my four-year-old, had lots of fun.
One of the least run down and dirty, and actually not freezing cold in the observation area, but it is an ice rink, so dont expect too much.
Loved it! Very helpful and considerate staff.
Nice skate place, good price if come in group more than 8 ppl!
Ok arena, not real comfortable seating for observers but at least they have heaters. No hot beverages on site but coffee stand across parking lot.
Good place to practice skating
Very good coaches, very good team, the facility is not the top tier but good enough for kids to have enough fun!
I definitely prefer this rink over the Snoking Renton rink. The rink in Renton is usually really crowded during afternoons/evenings but this rink is generally less busy.
Easy access and nice crew! Wish there is more ice and more stick and puck time.
Fun & inexpensive fun for the family.
Excellent place to enjoy some ice time, hockey, figure skating, birthday parties, public skating.
Well kept up!
Had my daughters birthday their it was phenomenal
They have great Stick and Puck that last for hours for a decent price. I havent had the opportunity to try and pickup games yet but will soon.
Went for a birthday party. Didnt even realize this was in my backyard.
Just a nice neighborhood rink. good vibes.
Heaters work grear.
I take Jacqueline Kennedy there all the time. Good facilities at fair prices.
My son loves to go to this place.
Dont plan on going skating during the week if you are normal person who works a 8 to 5 job. They have public skating times at the worst time of day. Runned by idiots.
Love watching the adult womens ice hockey!
Great place to go and ice skate
Great public skating on Saturdays, fun times.
Chilly but always good
Decent arena, not much to say.
Nice place, especially pretty cheap in price.
Cool!
Good
Good one.kids can have fun
Public skating available
Great rink!
This place has great lessons.
Great for public skate w/ family
Great skating rink!
Been playing hockey here since I was 4.
