I love this place! We went the other night and walked around. Everything is reasonably priced. The fish and other animals seemed so happy. The tanks are very very clean. It seemed to become busy when we arrived and I noticed the employe walk around and check on EVERYONE not just one customer. We will definitely be back. You don’t get customer service like this anymore.

A small quiet little aquarium store. Seem to have a nice selection of fish. Very healthy looking. Not a whole lot of selection of filters pumps Substrate etc. But they will order anything that you need. I would go back

I just wanted to say these people are amazing. The store owner has ordered me two ferrets per color request and gender and has been awesome. They are super friendly people and have really clean aquatic tanks and animal cages. I would def chose this place over pet cove because of how friendly they are. They have a great aquatic selection and fair prices for a family owned business. Support them

My daughter could have spent hours looking at all the fish. We didnt feel pressured to buy anything and we learned a lot about various species of amphibians and fish. We will definitely be back!

This is a hidden gem and we need to protect it at all cost! The staff were amazing! They have a very wide selection of both fresh and salt water animals that look to be well taken care of. I was awe struck when I walked into their tank area.

First visit and first impressions so maybe they are better than it seemed. Ok selection of fish, some freshwater and some saltwater (I didnt pay attention to the saltwater so I cant comment on their stock.) Person behind the counter was more interested in talking to someone he knew in the store than in helping me. It seemed like it was inconvenient of me to be there. Not a good vibe.

Friendly staff and quite an amazing selection of species. They are definitely worth checking out if youre looking for aquatic life.

I went in here with my son. He got several freshwater fish that were supposed to be at a discounted price due to purchasing multiples. Got to the register and checked out only to get out the door and realize the owner overcharged is by almost $30. Not only did she not give us the 2/$24.99 price she charged him @ $24.99 per fish. I walked straight back to the door and they had locked the doors and turned out the lights. I knocked and knocked on the door but they would not come to the door or answer the phone. I drove all the way here for Elizabethton. Will not return.

They have clean tanks and fair prices. But. It is hard to get someone to help you. And if you ask for help to buy some fish or something you feel like you have interrupted their sitting time.

I had a horrible experience. The staff were extremely rude and the store is a mess.

Best fish store in town, we started a tank this year and the owner helped us pick fish that would happily together. She and her helpers are extremely knowledgeable, and will spend a considerable amount of time with you to make sure your aquarium is spectacular.

This is probably my favorite place to go in my free time. Beautiful healthy fish and other pets staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a big selection of fish you cant get at other local stores, great prices. I have bought fish here several times and never had any problems. Im happy Ive never had to medicate new fish from here when I bring them home.

Just bought the most beautiful and cuddly little ferret babies from these kind people!!! The employees were very sweet and imformative people, and they cared very much about these sweet ferrets!!!

Such a great little place. I say little, but really the store is quite spacious. They didnt have a whole lot of variety in terms of equipment, but their fish and freshwater shrimp were excellent! Got a nice piece of driftwood too. Couldnt be happier with my visit.

Just went in to see what they had, the name intrigued me. When I set my fish tank back up this is where I believe I will be getting my fish.

Rude and just strange people. Never open the store on time. Have lots of space to make a nice store if they wanted to, but they choose to just throw junk in half of the store and turn the lights off.

I will forever be a regular customer at Sea Oddities. They keep their tanks and enclosures very clean, the owners are extremely knowledgeable, nice caring people that love what they do and are always ready to give constructive advice with whatever you ask them.

I drove to Kingsport after work from Johnson City. I rushed through traffic, found a parking spot only to find locked doors at 5:20. On the door, website and voicemail it states hours to 6:00 on Tuesday. The woman inside seemed to be with another woman and her dog and refused to acknowledge I was even at the door trying to get in. Im self employed; I would never treat my customers in such a manner. Remember that your customers are the only reason you get to open and close your doors every day and that they come first.

They offer a variety of fish including fresh and salt water. They are located in a great area of Kingsport.

Locally owned aquarium store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They keep an interesting stock of fresh and salt water fish.

From the first footstep into the doorway my nose hairs quivered at the putrid smells invading my nose and shutting down my organs. “sea oddities” has nothing odd about it except for the less that apt custumer service and the ferrets and gerbils in cages.

We went there looking for aquatic plants and left with an amazing little ferret. (we have others but we werent expecting to find a Real Canadian ferret at an aquarium store, lol) We spent an hour talking with the owners, who were very friendly, before we left. But, they dont sell any ferret supplies, even food.

We went there a few days ago and bought a hermit crab. The staff was super friendly and made sure we got everything we need for the crab. Unfortunately, the crab died shortly after we brought it home. When I called Sea Oddities to ask about returns/exchanges/etc, I was told I could come in and pick up a new crab free of charge. I got a call back about ten minutes later, and the woman told me she had decided to get the crabs out and check them, and she discovered that they all had something wrong with them. Because of this, she has ordered a new crab from her suppliers for me, free of charge, and she said she would call me when it comes in. I was very pleased to work with actual professionals, and even more pleased that they took responsibility and initiative to fix the issue. I will most definitely be shopping from Sea Oddities in the future.

Kathy is awesome, very knowledgeable about all corals and fish and very willing to help you with anything you need help with. My husband and i are beingers to the salt water hobby and kathy has helped us alot with water quality tank mates and placement of corals in the tank. Will never go to another place for idvice or products in this hobby
