An interesting museum of Route 66 memorabilia and displays. Includes displays of the depression and an electric car display. We may think the electric car is new but it goes back to the early days of the automobile. Includes a golf cart owned by Willie Nelson. Worth a stop if you’re passing through.

The museum is so neat due to the setup of the space, information, and historical items that it has. This visit was a quick get away trip from the norm which has three museums that can be explored for one price.

NO STARS! We were excited to go but they had maybe 2 displays and a small replica of a ship that looked like kids made it It had a heavy wire cage over it with a 13 inch tv showing a video. I looked on u tube and found many videos. It took us less than 5 minutes to go through. We asked for our money back but they said no. I don’t know who wrote these other reviews but if you click on the pictures it takes you to maps. BEWARE!

Nostalgic old tiny town where the famous Route 66 is. Kingman was the inspiration for Radiator Springs in the Disney Cars movie!!

Nothing special in terms of museums, but still interesting to see if you passing by. They have a good amount of history displayed about the old west and the development of the United States, but when I compare it to other museum like it, its not much to rave about, but again it cheap to visit and if you like history and are in the area it worth a visit.

Nicely laid out. Worth going if you have a chance. A lot of effort has been put into this museum.

Ma
Review №22

The museum is actually housed in three buildings. The exhibitions were clearly constructed by people with no training or experience as curators: this lack of professionalism greatly adds to the museums charm and authenticity. I spent an hour in the Mojave museum without seeing the antique cars because we ran out of time. We drove down from Vegas and will drive down again to see the rest.

I enjoyed the excerpt on the wall, as well as the look into our nations history. I didnt know about the mass migration out west during the Great Depression, or the hardships faced on the way.Photo ops: cool train is permanently stationed across the street, and you can man a picture by a route 66 sign painted on the parking lot.If you love trains, 80 pass by every day, and very close. Youre practically guaranteed to see one (or five haha).
