It was great walked the walking trails indoor and outdoors. Played pickleball
I am very pleased with this facility cause it s close to my house and the service is very good people are always . Thank you.
Clean and well maintained gym, but a tad pricey compared to Crunch Fitness or Anytime. Needs more equipment, as some people just sit on the equipment and listen to music, and look at you as though they dare you to say something. Locker room and showers are pretty clean, but again some people abuse even those. If it wasnt for those few things I wouldve kept my membership there.
Very good. Not to busy
I love it there its clean and well maintained theres lots of nice equipment
My husband loves it here! He plays basketball with the other guys at 3pm daily
Great gym. Lots of different equipment, clean and mostly friendly staff. The childcare is free but your child needs to be potty trained. My daughter who is 5 loves going to the gym with me!
Wonderful place, the lady there is such a breath of fresh air. She is always polite, she enjoys my kids when they come in and my clothes are always fresh and crisp. She makes sure youre satisfied and if not its free of charge or she will try to fix the problem. One day I only had my debit card but my fee was $3.00 she told me to come back next week to pay it. I love this cleaners, the best in town.
Really nice gym to hoop in.
This waterpark is absolutely wonderful. I enjoy going there because the staff are very friendly and help us every time we go. I am sick and tired of these stupid reviews from parents who cant seem to find babysitters for their children. If you cant find a babysitter, then dont go.
My husband, 7 month old and I just moved to this area and were scoping out facilities to work out at. I decided to stop in at the Lions Club Park thinking it would be AWESOME due to the appearance from the outside. I walked in to ask about fees, the lady had to excuse herself to answer the phone - but proceeded to say no no no to the customer on the phone. I then asked her about childcare at the facility. She said they have to be potty-trained. I find this to be very discouraging as most new mothers are looking forward to stepping out and getting back into shape without having to worry about planning out when they can do it with their spouses schedule. She got another member behind the desk to see if she knew anything different about the childcare policy. This woman began to tell me that its not a daycare facility (which is not what I am in the market for, nor was I asking about) and that it depends on who is in their watching the kids (in regards to if they will take an un-potty trained child). She also informed me that the building we were in was for adults, while there were teenagers, and younger, running around behind the desk. I found this very confusing on several levels, 1- because she didnt understand what I was asking for to begin with and 2- went on to tell me that I might show up one day and the childcare facility will watch my child while I work out, but I may show up another day and they wont because they dont feel like watching an un potty-trained child?!?! And 3- if its an adult facility, why are their minors running around? I handed the fee pamphlets back because this place is unsuitable for any kind of family with young kids. I was very excited walking in thinking that I would find a GREAT club with a GREAT atmosphere, and walked out totally discouraged by all of the nos I heard from the employees and the confusing run around I was given about childcare, and also the fact that they wont provide service for infants. Too bad.
Very dissatisfied with the poor management; the manager asked several parents to leave in front of 50 members during the fitness class. Very embarrassing and cumbersome since is their poor decision not to offer daycare and knowing most of the members in the class are parents.A week after they decide to cancel Saturdays morning class. Very cumbersome for the average working parent.I work full time, go to school and have kids, the gyms poor decisions is not worth my time. I rather pay a little extra for quality service somewhere else and avoid all this hassle that I get from the Tommie Harris Fitness Center Gym.
If we had actualy been able to get into the facilities they may have gotten a better review but cosidering the fact that they basically stole our money and then denied us entrance I have to give them a rating of extremely poor. Not only did they not allow me to bring in my water bottle (I am 8 months pregnant for crying out loud and its 90+ degrees out there!! of course I carrry my water bottle with me everywhere) they also prohibited my daughters floatation device within the premises (it was a life vest that apparently did not meet their requirements, shes 3 and they do not provide their own within the facility) and then while my spouse was putting the water and vest back in the car I bought our entrance and not two seconds after I got my change back we were informed that his swimming trunks were not allowed within the premises (they called them baseball shorts, I have seen plenty of men wearing them at every other pool we have been to) we were told to go speak with the boss who not only was not curteous enough to greet us pleasantly as we entered her office (which is a stretch of the word considering teenagers were lounging all over the place), but she also procedeed to tell us that our oney would not be refunded due to their policy. Now, I know it was only $14 for the two adults but at the same time I feel like I just paid $14 to speak to a freaking manager for 2 seconds who told me that either my husband bought himself a new suit or we were SOL. I would have tried to come back at a later time or maybe even bought the stupid swimming trunks and try again but the way that they treat customers (and I was not the only one who was getting fed up by the idiocracy of these ppl) made me decide to never set foot at that place ever again.
