A lovely memorial site dedicated to honor the fallen and wounded.

I visited the memorial a few months ago. Although some may want to forget this tragedy, it must be visited to keep the memory of these brave and innocent victims alive. They should not be forgotten. It is a beautiful memorial, however I found it to be too secluded from the base . I just see it as a place where it is almost hidden away from society to not remember what happened. I know some people are always going to be directly affected by this terrible and tragic day, but we must never forget those men and women who gave their lives that unforgettable day. Peace be with the families and lived ones affected by the loss of those lives.

Beautiful Memorial to honor those who lost their lives, definitely visit this site if you are in the Killeen/Fort Hood area.
