Nice course, from the three in the area I felt this one was the nicer one. I heard a lot of bad reviews from people but I just played it a couple weeks ago and The course looked nice. If I lived closer I would play here more often.

My daughter did one of their golf camps and loved it! This was a great introduction to golf, as she learned alot and has a thirst to move forward with the sport. Mr. Manny, Austin and Ryan worked really well with and were very patient with the little ones. Very friendly atmosphere and all the staff I came in contact with were very pleasant and accommodating. We will be back for private lessons. I highly recommend!

My favorite course in Texas so far.

$38 during the weekday. No veteran discount. Temporary greens that don’t allow putting on some holes. Crab grass in the fairways. Noisy roads along the front 9. Clay bunkers. The most expensive public course in a 30 mile radius and by far the worse. Compared to even Teravista which is pristine-it’s only $35. Killeen needs a new manager quick to save this course!

The crew has lost the greens !! Some greens there was no grass anywhere. To charge full price to play a course in these conditions shows me that the new management does not care. Used to be a great golf course. Tee box’s are bad, and the fairways are atrocious if you play the ball down look out.

Whoever the crabby old employee is who sits in the shack at the first tee was completely rude. Was verbally reprimanded for arriving ‘late’ for my tee time (maybe 2-3 minutes at the most) because I was finishing up at the practice tees. Then he had the audacity to ask me if I’ve played golf before after I mis-hit my first drive and told me to go to the second hole so I wouldn’t slow the group behind me. What a despicable and unacceptable way to treat a customer. Grounds keepers mowing and working right next to you while you’re in your back swing. And you wonder what they’re even working on because the course is in sub-par condition. Weeds and crab grass everywhere. This is what $38 at Stonetree gets you. I will never patron your course again.

The staff is great in the proshop and on the beverage cart... the course is in the worst shape Ive seen in the last 5 years. I have faith that it will get better.

The new management has let this course go to hell. Bare fairways and greens. This started slipping last season so don’t try to blame COVID.

Course is in great condition!

This course was beautiful and challenging (in a good way). The greens were fairly kept and my playing partners and I loved the course. The driving range was ok, and the practice green didnt have any holes so we places a tee and used that as our aiming point so no big deal. Over all, we would recommend. Definitely going back.

Played course on Fathers Day. It for was in sad shape. Management should have lower the rates . Could have played some where else

Nice course but a little small

In the 3 years Ive been here in Texas, this is the worst condition this course has ever been in. Hopefully, Billy Casper Golf can get better.

Our group of 36 went. New pro. Shes a go getter. Carts had placards. Player assistant retrieved clubs from the parking lot and brought to the carts. Beverage cart on course. Roving players assistant with ice water. Course was in tip top shape. Tough pin locations on some holes. Good carts. Nice range and putting green. They had their Schmidt together. We usually play another course next month. Were not. Were going back to Stonetree.

Ive golfed at nicer courses for less money. I have golfed Queens harbor and TPC Sawgrass on the east coast, English turn in New Orleans, and courses all the way to Pebble beach so Im a little more skeptic than the average golfer from central Texas. The info I received over the phone was conflicting with the info I received from the pro shop when I showed up. The employees have no regard for your golf game. My group was told to hurry up when we were waiting on the people in front of us all day. Employees also like to rev chainsaw engines when youre trying to chip and putt around the greens, particularly green 7. I will say the greens and grounds are nicer than some of the other courses in the area and they try to keep the pace of play up which is better than forest creek or sammons here local. Over all the course is nice for a municipal but if a Club Corp is available I will choose the Club Corp.

Everything about this golf course is really nice! My wife and I have been practicing at the driving range and they also let us practice our putting for free! These guys are top notch!

Great course. Good price. Friendly folks. The only reason it is a 4 is because there is not much of a pro shop/ club house. Excellent shape for August in Texas!

We’ve played this course for our High School State Championship for the past three years and it’s been a great course. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because of their pro shop. They have very little in terms of playing gear (ball markers, divot tools, towels, umbrellas, rain gear) and almost nothing for ladies.

Very nice for Municipal. Course in great shape tee to green. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price.

Loved it! Nice and open and the fairways are always green and well kept. Played really well compared to clear Creek where I lose a ball a hole because its in the woods. Gorgeous course, depends on the day how crowded it can be, typically its pretty busy. They dont have a beer cart anymore which is a total bummer!

One of the best public golf courses Ive ever golfed at.

No military or Senior discount in a military town. 46 dollars no food. Headed to the Cove.

The course is okay....but boring.

I am a 9 handicap golfer and I thought the course was very good overall. The price could be a shade less. I thought the course itself was very well kept, the greens could be better but I would not say that should deter anyone from enjoy a round here. It is not a very difficult course at all, a scratch golfer should fair well here. The view and scenery is great. If youd like to knock some dust off of your clubs or just enjoy a round this is the place to go.

Even with the colder weather coming in, course is still immaculate and a joy to play!

The only thing that keeps this from a 5-star rating is that the rates are in my opinion a little high for a city course. That being said it is one of my favorite layouts and is always in really good shape.

Overpriced and lied on the phone about tee times available when we live 45 minutes away. Course is usually in good shape.

Great pro shop, staff, and the course is always maintained good.

Nice course but a little too pricey for the services offered . No food, no ice, only one person working in the clubhouse so got tired of waiting in line for a beer . would expect more for the price you pay .

I give this course a 5 star rating..very nice course when you want to get away...very well maintenance and a nice challenge...only bad thing i can say...wish they enforced the dress code alittle more..the course is way to nice to have people come and make the course look bad by dressing anykind of way...if you play golf at a nice course like this one, you should dress golf...thats the only thing i can say bad, other than that ..it still deserves my 5 star rating..top 10 in my book...and they have a very friendly staff..keep up the good work..
