Cute bookstore any reader could get lost in while on vacation. Great selection of popular & local favorites. Even a children’s book section. I bought our niece & nephews books for Christmas here...they were treasured. The store is closed on major holidays but it’s worth a stop by while in town.

Fantastic independent bookstore, which is exactly the kind it like. Plenty of books on the Keys, but plenty of current books. Lots of political items in here, and theyre all outstanding.And any girl who grew up in the eighties will appreciate being able to walk into Judy Blumes bookstore.

Great independent book store! Went in looking for a book for my 11 year old while here on vacation. The woman behind the counter was very kind and helpful. Good selection too! Wish we had more bookstores like this around!

Definitely recommend checking this bookstore out if you are in Key West! Especially if you are a Judy Blume fan! She co founded the bookstore and is sometimes hanging out there! The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They know their books! I wish I could have spent more time here!

I asked for two books that I never thought theyd have in stock but they did. The woman working there was very helpful and friendly. Whenever I need a book I will definitely go back.

Excellent bookstore with curated selection and lots of notes and recommendations from the staff and owners (Including Judy Blume!). They also have art supplies and a nice selection of kids books. Fun stop on our trip to Key West.

Very nice beach bookstore with something to read for everyone. They even have art supplies in the back of the store. I picked up a David Bowie oral history and reading list of David Bowie book here. also got to sit and read the watchmen while I was waiting for the rest of my party to finish up. Great shop!

The staff was very nice and helpful. I also loved the atmosphere. Though I am a little sad I couldnt meet Judy Blume I completely understand why she cant come in due to Covid-19. Im really exided to get my book back personalized and autographed!

What a great store! Super kind lady behind the counter. Got a great book, some 3D postcards, and free stickers. Didnt have time to look at the art supplies and didnt see any used books to take to the beach, but thats okay!

Visited Books & Books a day before we left, I selected Judy Blume’s In the Unlikely Event—seemed most apropos from her bookstore. The staff were kind, gracious, and very generous by offering to have Judy sign it. I was able to leave the purchased book at the store, but just in case it wasn’t signed in time for us to go back and collect the book, I left my address for shipping.I called the next morning and Judy Blume herself was in, we went back and were again greeted by incredibly gracious and accommodating staff, and I got to meet Judy and sign the book, it was such a delight. My fiancé and I came to the consensus that next time we’re in Key West, Books & Books is an absolute must, even more so than Key Lime pie A heartfelt thanks to Judy and the staff at Books & Books for a truly memorable Key West experience.

The bookstore was nice, but maybe not kid-friendly. I brought my 7-year old in, and we went to the children’s section where he stood on a footstool next to me while we looked at a book together. A lady came out from a back room, and said “Can you do me a favor? Have him get off of that.” We intended on buying a couple of books, but maybe they don’t need the business. We left the store right after that. If she had been nice about it, I wouldn’t have thought about it too much...although why put footstools in a children’s section if you don’t want the children using them?

Great selection of new books, some even autographed. Little cards are throughout the store where different authors have visited and made various book recommendations. The staff was helpful and personable, not hovering over you. Nice little selection of art supplies as well..

Such a cute bookstore! We were visiting from out of town and I was looking for a specific book to read on vacation. I found what I was looking for. They had a great selection of current books. I didnt need help finding anything but I saw the employees were very helpful to others.

My wife picked up two books and the girl behind the check out ask if she wants the book signed. We find out the book store is owned by Judy Blume. Fun surprise.

It was a decent little bookstore. Had a good variety of new books. It was a nice break from the heat outside. I couldve stayed in there for much longer, but there was no bathroom and my parking was running out.

A quiet bookstore to escape the heat. They have autographed copies of Judy Blume books for sale!! When I purchased a signed copy, the clerk offered to have the author personalize it for me!! WOW. Also, a fabulous art and gift section.

Great bookstore with terrific guest speakers. Had the chance to hear Ayse Papatya Bucak read one of the short stories from The Trojan War Museum.

We make it a point to visit local bookstores on vacation, and I’m so glad we stopped in here. There is an amazing array of titles, better than any must read list anywhere! I will be stopping back in virtually to enjoy the selections until I can return to Key West. Made my trip!

Quaint little book store, especially if you love Judy Blume. Unfortunately she wasnt there when we were there, but if you purchase books, she will sign them for free and they will ship them to you. A small fee is charged for shipping.

A painting class with Mike Rooney. The space and facilities are great. Mike is an excellent, entertaining and knowledgeable instructor. This is my second class with him and he continues to teach me things I did not know or understand. Very enjoyable.

Lovely people and lots of attentive help.

Great venue. Nice bar area. Intimate experience. Loved the play itself. Met the writer. Spoke with actors. Well worth the price of admission and the 9 hour drive. I will go a million times.

This (non-profit!) bookstore is an incredibly special part of Key West. An unexpected treat to find such a remarkable array of titles so lovingly curated, as well as art supplies, a small but thoughtful selection of magazines/journals, and the loveliest staff. Make sure you stop by here to buy a book (or three).

Great books store, but at a price. Parking is difficult and the books were more than what I was willing to pay. They had a large selection and all brand new and in great condition.

The Studios of Key West is a fantastic artistic and creative venue showcasing local talents, traveling shows, and interactive workshops. Rick Worths painting class and the One Night Stand show every other year is a must

Very nice, updated spaces, very beautiful rest rooms, fun place to see affordable art. The black stage theatre is comfy and intimate.

Great space for all types of creative outlets. I went to see Conch Republic the Musical and I also visited Judy Blumes book store.

A beautiful redo of a former Masonic temple just steps from Duval Street. Now it houses artist studios on the third floor, a lovely performance space on the second and galleries on the first, with regularly changing exhibitions of a wide variety of local art. (A roof garden with terrific views over the island will open soon.) The corner space is a branch of the famous Books & Books, where youll often find the renowned author Judy Blume running the cash register and helping browsers find what theyre looking for — maybe inscribing one of her wildly successful novels, too.

Book stores are great and this one also had art supplies, making it even better. It was cozy, I loved it. I just wish it could be bigger, it was small and there was only one place to sit.

Pre-eminent local gallery with innovative showings and creative live experiences. Also hosts residencies for artists and writers.

Lovely shop with wonderful staff. Loved walking through here but did not make a purchase since we had no more room on the bike. Hope to be back one day!

Kids books, with no bathroom access, not a good combination. Was really looking forward to spending time in the bookstore of a beloved childhood author and sharing this with my daughter.

As an artist in residence, I was so impressed by all the staff and volunteers at TSKW. They provide top notch art classes, theatre performances and play an active role in promoting the art scene key west. What a beautiful venue to visit!

The highlight of my trip -- walking in & getting to meet Judy Blume in person! She signed a book for me & took a photo with me! Great welcoming & personable atmosphere -- and there are a ton of books here besides! ;)
